Love the scent and the picture of the Diablo(devil). If you like tattoos, the diablo's print on the ball would look great. Discontinued but a great ball. I re-drilled the ball and polished it and it works super. Never had a drill pattern with pin under the middle finger and cg kicked right. I love this drill. Predictable ,control hook into the pocket and smooth roll. I'm pleased with my switch to storm. Sometimes old balls with different drill patterns may work. I will try to dull the ball and give it a try, but polishing the ball seems the way to go.

Ball is great if you going to shoot some games in the middle of the day or after league. However, even in medium oil conditons this ball just spins down the lane and barley hooks in the back end. Now if you are a finesse bowler this might work. Slow shots will get this ball to hook. I through the ball with some force behind it and in oily conditions i might as well through a house ball. Its that striaght. Even with drilling for extreme hook I get very little on wet conditons. So if you want a dry to medium dry ball get this. If you want something that can handle the oil buy something else.

I RECENTLY JUST STARTED BOWLING AGAIN AFTER A 4 YEAR BREAK. I STILL HAD MY OLD EBONITE 8 BALL 15LB. I WAS LOOKING INTO GETTING A NEW BALL DUE TO THE FACT THE 8 BALL WAS OLD AND THE ALLEY I WAS GOING TO THE BALL JUST WOULDN'T HOOK LIKE I WANTED. I WENT TO A LOCAL PRO SHOP AND TALKED TO ONE OF THE WORKERS EXPLAINING MY STYLE OF BOWLING WHERE I STAND AND WHAT ALLEYS I FREQUENT. HE PICKED OUT THE DIABLO AND I HAVE BEEN HAPPY EVER SINCE. RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX I GOT A 4 BAGGER AND I FOUND IT WAS EASY TO ANTICIPATE WHAT THE BALL WOULD DO. WHEN THIS BALL HITS THE POCKET IT REALLY HITS THE POCKET!! I WAS IMPRESSED WHEN I SAW IT. IT WAS LIKE A MACK TRUCK. THE PRO SHOP OWNER GAVE ME A BOTTLE OF CLEANER FOR THE BALL AND TOLD ME TO KEEP IT CLEAN TO MAINTAIN ITS BACKEND. I HAVE BEEN CLEANING ABOUT EVERY THREE GAMES. ALSO I CLEANED MY 8 BALL THAT HASN'T BEEN CLEANED I SAY FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS EVER SINCE I OWNED IT. IT DEFINITLY GOT ITS HOOK BACK AND A NICE SHINE TO IT BUT IT STILL DOESN'T H

nice ball for the money will deffinetly buy from storm again if not diablo somthing else the ball is good out of the box but as soon as it gets shiny it is good for med-to lite oil and a more direct line than i'm use to but over all it is still a great ball nothing but good thing for this company a++if you can keep the ball clean it my last a littel longer or if you sand it out of the box you can always bring it back to life again. i use a lot of speed and rev if you don't than drill it max or you my not like the outcome

Great ball for medium oil. I had to polish it to get it through the heads with a good read. Our back ends are strong so the polishing also helped with the late read. Ball had a 3" pin with PAP 4.5" out. Helped me shoot 760 in our city tourney. I am a Storm guy so I do not know what to compare it to. Hooks less than the Trifecta but more than my Charge. I would rate this one of my top 3 balls right now. We bowl on wood lanes and I have had little experience with synthetic yet to see how it reacts there. I hope to find out before the USBC National tourney.

Beautiful ball for players of all levels of skill. This ball loses no momentum as it crushes the pins. I have medium to low ball speed, but it still causes an eruption when I hit my mark. More forgiving than most say, but you must read the lanes correctly in order use this ball properly. I have only thrown this ball for the past week, but my average with it is about 170, before I had this ball it was approximately 130. This ball is consistent and predictable. Tons of backend on synthetic lanes, and a lot of roll on wood. This is an excelent ball.

I drilled this with the pin about 1/2 inch below my ring finger with the CG in line with the pin. Was looking for a ball for when the lanes start breaking down in my long tournaments, and I'm pretty sure I found it. I shined the cover to get it to roll longer and it still makes a strong, reliable move. Can't reiterate enough how smooth of a transition this ball makes, it's rediculous. Looking forward to competing with this ball when the shot breaks down, definitely get this ball.xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx xxxx xxxxxxxx xxxx xxxxxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxx xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx

Great midstream ball does not overhook in dry but does not always get the job done in heavier conditions. Can play inside and stroke or play the under over and tween. This ball basically depends on ru ability to adjust to the lane that your bowling on As i said before very consistent roll and hits like a freight train. I myslef am a stroker and have bowled my high game(258) and high series(694) with the Diablo. Good for any bowler looking for a ball that can do alot and is not confined to one shot. I love this ball for the medium oil but u will be disappointed in heavier oil

I decided to give this ball another chance after refinishing to factory specs. No good. Still a piece of garbage. Storm has yet to get it right. They come out with a "new" piece of equipment every couple of weeks without really putting any R & D into it and somehow manage to get some poor suckers to believe that it's the next big thing. I don't know about anyone else, but I have other things to do with my money instead of forking it over to a company that works harder at deceiving the average bowler than they do at producing a quality product.

ONLY HAVE A FEW GAMES WITH THIS ONE BUT SO FAR IT PERFORMS WELL. HAVE IT DRILLED PIN ABOVE RING FINGER,CG CENTER OF PALM SO I CAN GET THE LENGTH I NEED PLUS I POLISHED IT UP TO ABOUT 1200 GIVE OR TAKE.THE BALL IS DEFITNETLY VERSATILE I CAN PLAY ANYWHERE ON THE LANES WITH IT. LIKE THE REACTION BETTER WITH IT POLISHED THEN WITH THE BOX FINISH.WOULD OF LIKED TO OF HAD JUST A LITTLE MORE LENGTH,BUT AS LONG AS YOU DONT SLOW IT DOWN YOUR ALRIGHT.DEFITNETLY NOT A BALL FOR LIGHT OIL OR BURNT BACKENDS!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this ball i drilled it pin over ring finger cg in palm and MB in strong position, cause of the drilling any oil is a dead skid till the pattern ends so this drilling is not good for long patterns but has great movement on the dry boards so on a house shot if you miss a ways right then i't kinda bounces back as close to bumpers as you can get. Great ball from storm, great complement to the fired up i can wait for the next in the fire line 10 out of 10 for me P.S. it smells great too

After finishing the first 20 games of Training with the Diablo (average 215) , i knew that i got a new benchmark bowling ball. This ball comes right outta hell. The reaction in the pins was so strong that it seemed like a bomb exploded near the pindeck. I started playing the ball deeply because as it gets to the dry part of the lane there is no other way for the ball than turning towards the pocket. After a few games of playing and "burning down" your lines, i tried to play the ball fast straight down the outer side of the lane, but there was no chance beating the "10"-PIN. last but not least i can recommend this ball to everybody who wants a strong hitting ball at a lower price... Storm did it, they brought the hell right upstairs burning down the lanes...Thanks for that. please excuse my english.

When i first got this ball i was so excited. I had it drilled up and went to the lanes. When i hit my mark the ball swung beautifly into the pocket and exploded into the pins. It was fantastic. The only misconseption is that this ball is not a strong hooking ball. I was looking for a little more but this ball is great for medium oil and is a great bench mark ball. i was a little dissapointed in the hook of the ball. Hell i spent two hundred dollars on the damn thing and i want that sucker to hook. That has been the only problem so far but other than that great ball.

I metioned in a previous review on the X-Factor Deuce that I would probably never purchase another Storm product. Well this one was given to me new by a friend. I should have given it back. Even bigger piece of garbage than the other Storm balls I tried. This thing hooks right out of the gate. There's no skid at all... at first. After a couple of weeks and a dozen games or so, the ball does nothing but skid... even with weekly cleaning. Storm has yet to get it right. At the rate they are going, they'll never get it.

First I just want to say that I LOVE the REACTOR coverstock and these two balls just made me love it even more. I was a little scared when I saw the Ragin and it was so shiny, because I thought here is another Banshee (the first one) which never budged in oil and went side ways when it hit dry. Much to my surprise the Ragin' is awesome as is the Diablo. My PAP is 4 3/4 up 3/16. I layed both balls out the same. Pin 4 inches from my PAP and the CG 4 1/4. This is a similar layout two my Fired Up and Screamin'. Those two balls are my primary balls in my arsenal. I bowled on the fresh house shot. Our center oils 35 feet buff to 42 feet. Our lanes would be considered Medium to Heavier oil. Many of our better house bowlers all throw aggressive equipment between 5 and 10. When throwing the Diablo, I figured it would hook, and that it did, but not at my toe thank god. I had Bill stand out on the caps and mark the balls transition from skid to roll and roll to hook. Bill became the huma
