Well the new ball was released and I had to get my hands on one. The great news was it came to the shop with almost the same top weight and pin locations as my other storm balls (x-factor, Deuce and re-loaded). So I had this ball drilled the same to use only the shell as my only difference. So far this has worked out great with the first three. This time the shell and the weight block is different. But to my surprise this ball is a great compliment to my bag. This ball will hook and there is no stopping it. Un-like the X-factor (which by the way is still my favorite) some times it just can not turn the corner. But the Fear Factor will not only turn the corner it will remove any and all things in it's way. If you have liked the first three or think that none of these balls hook get this one and find oil. 3 Days later, I thought I would polish this up just to see the reaction. WOW----That's what I was looking for. The ball did not loose any thing on the back ends in fact I think it now h

The coverstock on this ball , monsoon, is a good new coverstock fresh out on the market but still needs some touch ups. Dont be suprised if you end up altering the surface on this ball at least once to get the desired reaction you anticipate. The X factor and X factor deuce were both considerably better over all balls than this ball. The shot has to be perfect for this ball to work. Storm was right on the part that this ball's energy is evenly taken out when it goes down the lane but the problem is it doesnt hit extremely hard and will result in several 7 pins and a few 9 pins (im a lefty, 10 pins and a few 8 pins for righty). It even left a few 10 pins because of bad angle in the pocket and bad deflection from the 5 pin. Not exactly the best ball Storm ever created. This is a disappointment to the x factor master line.
