The Blaze? features the all-new CADMIUM? coverstock, which consists of a exclusive STORM particle and reactive urethane blend that delivers resounding length through the heads, mild mid-lane acceleration generating a Blazing backend reaction for booming pin action on medium to lighter oil conditions. Both the BOOST and BLAZE feature a new particle that is not rubber based like our other particle balls. The Boost also has Fleck in the surface to provide additional grip. A former Storm ball that had this in the coverstock was the El Nino Gold.

The ball gets great length and then snaps back really hard. I've had bowlers looking at its reaction with awe. It goes out then comes back real strong. I can even play this on dry lane (depends on how the ball was drilled). I also tested this on a variety of lane condtions and have found to be versatile. I can play this on the outside (1st arrow) going towards 3rd arrow target . This ball complements well with my Messenger TI (had it drilled for maximum roll) Overall rating? Probably a 9. There are other great balls out there but the ERASER BLAZE definitely sits on the top 3 all time for me.

Great dry lane ball. Storm really did the right thing when they release the Blaze and Boost. It is just what they needed for the mid-priced balls. Now you can do just about anything with out having to spend to much money. This ball just loves to swing the lane, if you can find the dry outside board throw at them and watch this ball come screaming back at you. Not to mention the great amoutn of carry that you get with it. It just seems to blow the pins right into the pit. This ball earns its 10.

This is an outstanding ball to have in your bag at a time when you need a little length and a screaming turn to the pocket. If you are a 190 or above bowler this is a good ball if you like STORM. For the lower bowlers this is a good ball as long as you don't have it to aggressive with a little side and finger (1/4F & 3/8S) or just ask your pro shop what is best for you with this ball. If you like grapes this is the ball for you. I like what STORM does with there balls the fragrance they put in them.

Well after my original Eraser got hacked up from the ball return the alley bought me this ball. Specs before drilling as follows. 16.02lbs 3" pin 3.2oz of Top weight Has it drilled with the pin above the ring finger with cg 3 inchs away from my CLG with the Mass Bias in the Strong position. I heard so much about this ball that I added some Reacta Shine to it for alittle more lenght and might I say this ball just has a blazing backend. On just a regular house shot 7-7 42ft stripped and clean backends I found this ball to be very successfull. When Carry down come in all you really have to do is move about 3 boards right and tighten up the line and your fine. This ball is Great for the money and will be a hot seller for Storm as was the Original Eraser.

Update 7-19 this ball continues to shine so well I just got one for my wife she is a 140 average bowler and had a personal best game of 206 she has only been bowling for 4 months and on her first game her new blaze popped her up to a 216 new personal best I have found the ball remains consistent if you simply keep it clean and polished to the original factory spec! I love this ball I am so pleased that my trauma has barely see the light of day since I got it. I love the cherry smell Even if it is strong its better than 50 sweaty guys. :) if you drill one save the shavings in a sock in your bags shoe compartment no more stinky shoes! This ball seems to work well in my house I think I will pick up a couple more of them and try some optional setups as well as its heavy oil twin. This could be the ball that finally retires my blue hammer I have had since 1989 I prefer the relaxed grip setup my pro drilled with vaccu grip fingers and an oval tapered thumb slug Visually this ba

Not to often do I fall in love with a ball instantly, but this one excited me from the get go. So much so that I drilled three of them within a week. The first one I layed out 5 5/8(pin) x 5(cg) from PAP. I had a Too Hot drilled like this. I was told the ball would be slightly stronger then my Too Hot and that is exactly what it was. It cleared the heads like my Too Hot but wasn't skid/flip like the Too Hot. The Blaze fills that nice gap between the Eraser and Too Hot. The next one I drilled 4 1/2 by 4 1/2. I rarely try a layout like this because many of the balls burn up to much energy to fast like this for me. But this ball didnot do that. It cleared the front clean and had a nice smooth arcing reaction down the lane. With this layout the ball very much reminded me of the old Black Thunder Storm. The third ball was layed out 5 x 4 3/4. This is my usual layout. I took a grey scotch brite and dulled the coverstock. The ball still cleared the front great. It still arc's nicely bu

Ball Specs- 15lbs, 2" pin, 3.44oz top weight and box finish Drill specs- Pin under bridge of fingers, Cg in grip line Another Great Ball By Storm!! This ball has it all- length, readable midlane, strong backend, and super carrying power. Just got this ball drilled up yesterday and couldn't wait for league to throw it, so I hit the lanes on a second shift, slightly wore down christmas tree pattern. This ball was beauiful, I got lined up in 2 balls and never shot below 208 in 6 games while expirementing. I only left three 10 pins the whole session. You knew if you were going to strike or not when the ball reached the 45ft area. The only draw back I found was that carry and angle were a little weak from deep but a drier pattern or flying backends might help this. My recommendation for this ball is if you have alot of hand do not drill it strong(leverage). It has plenty of hook and carry and a strong drilling might make control a problem. Thanks Storm for another great ball in my arsena

This ball is label drilled. 4x4 no hole. I got this ball thinking I could use it as a go to ball when the shot kept creeping left. It is alot stronger than I thought. The ball has excellent length and it screams on a clean backend. I don't think I have ever seen a ball with this much snap. It really plays like a reactive, but doesn't skate when you get it in the heavy stuff. This should be an excellent ball for the typical house shot. Just beware of the violent turn it makes when it hits the dry. Definately a keeper.

This ball is great! I just got it last week, and i aleady just bowled the Jr. State Scratch tournament and I did great with it. first game out in the tournament i went front 9 with it, and easily would have shot 300 but i messed it up and went light, but still almost carried it, leaving a 2 pin. overall, this ball is great, for i am a hardcore STORM fan and throw all storm except for one ball of mine. this ball goes super long and snaps at the end to just crush the pocket. it carries great and just is a really sweet ball.
