Heres What I've come up with on the bowling ball rating system. If you buy a ball and it's a medum-heavy oil ball, than that means it's usable on medum oil in long patterns 30' +and heavy oil on shorter 30' or less patterns, and so on for med-light. When it states it's a medum oil ball then it's a strong ball on medum oil 30'-35' with some carydown, and so on for heavy and light oil balls. With that in mind Storm states this ball was a medum-light oil ball..... Bull S%$T.... With the monsoon coverstock even in it's pearlized form is still asuper strong cover. At 73-75 hardness it loves dryer backends. I had this ball drilled for short oil patterns and or light oil, the layout was the # 1 on storms drilling guied for this ball. That puts the CG about an inch below my fingers on the centerline the pin just under and to the side of my middle finger and the mass bias in the ball track. On medum oil with alittle carrydown with this drilling It rolles out just as it hits the pocket

BALL IS WONDERFUL. STORM HIT THE WALL and then came off and HIT THE OTHER WALL. High series with this ball 692, I have it now and am carrying a 208, hopefully this week I'll shoot a 7 with it. Greatest ball ever created by STORM and any other COMPANY. SMELLS DELICIOUS. and Helped me win the VA PEPSI 2006 YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS. EBONITE THE ONE AINT GOT NOTHING ON THIS BALL. HAD IT IN 14, loved it so much went up to 15 called it a day and now I'm a champion. STORM-THE BOWLER'S COMPANY and if you're not down with that, well then you're just not a bowler.

I just bought this ball used off ebay, and it is awesome!! I'm right handed and I've got it drilled with the pin right below the ring finger and the cg directly under the pin. The pin is 2 inches out from the cg. My first series with this ball was a 721 (265, 222, 234). This ball gets plenty of length, then snaps into the pocket very HARD and sends the pins flying everywhere! This is definately a great ball for the price. I would highly recommend this ball to anyone looking for performance at a cheap price. : )

This ball was a great ball for a very long time...Ive had it for 3 years and it still is a very descent ball but the 1st and 2nd years were the best... It was my first reactive ball but now I have a tsunami h20 and a hybrid dirty bomb... This ball still hooks but my weight has changed...This is a 13 and now I throw a 15...This is a great ball that can also be used for spares once that use is finally out of it...It hooks very good and I reccomend this ball to someone who plays their hand side and shoots over for a strike...

Its a must have ball for those lanes that are toasted. I got this ball for free. When I threw it I would stick too many ringing 10 pins. I got too mad at it, so I just moved from my outside shot to the 3rd arrow. Boy did it work. The second week of league I shot my first honor score, 299. The last ball was a little tug, like one board.....and I left the damn 4 pin. From now on when ever I leave a 4 pin, it will never be the same. This ball is great. It cheap. Its no more. So try to find it.<scri

I've had this ball for about six months. Was hesitant in buying this one for some reason. Wanted it for lighter, shorter oil patterns. Had it drilled with the pin over ring finger and the CG stacked underneath. In box condition, this ball does exactly what I want it to do on light, short oil...clears heads and mids well and makes a strong, angular move on the backend. However, when the polish starts to go, this ball becomes a monster and can be used on anything from light, short oil to medium/medium oil. I've found this ball to be much more versatile than advertised. This ball has basically become the medium oil ball that I had hoped the Atomic Charge would be (but sadly, isn't).<scri

This is the first Storm product that I have used since my original Eraser that does what Storm says it will do. It flips nice and hard on the end and finds the 1-3 with satisfying regularity. Carry is decent too. The only issue I have with this ball is the same issue I've had with other Storm products. The coverstock is so fragile, it doesn't take long before it is so marked up that it looks like an alley ball that has been put through the wringer. Storm could also do away with the scented balls. It's a ridiculous idea that needs to be tossed.

when i bought this ball, i got it for dry lanes, but it will hook a ton on medium with unbelievable backend snap, i drilled it with the pin on the axis, and it is the best drill pattern i ever had, the snap is unreal, i am a cranker and i get the ball to board 1 and the ball launches itself to the pocket, literally. i also bought the screamin banshee which i really do not like, this ball is 10 times better with a much better reaction and better smell also, overall i would recommend this ball to anyone lookin for a go to ball, cuz this is it......

This ball is a very good ball for medium oil lanes. This ball saves all of its energy for the backends and if the backends are really dry this ball is going to tare through it with ease. But if the backends are flooded this ball will have alittle trouble. But if you have a high rev rate this ball will be good for most shots. Some of the time this ball will be alittle to touchy for me but most of the time its fine. Most of the time i cant throw this ball because there is never enough oil on the lanes to keep the ball from hooking to hard but when i can throw it the ball works really good. <scr

The Eraser Banshee is another great ball from Storm. Although the hook patterns on Storm's website can be deceiving, this ball has a curve to it depending on the oil set up. The Monsoon coverstock doesn't seem to pickup very easily with oil carrydown at all. Had better luck throwing it hard down the gutter and letting it make a constant hook towards the pocket, this would leave the occasional 10 pin but it would still smash the pocket. Trying to make the sweeping hook only left me with wash-outs or splits. Not a benchmark ball unless your lanes are already dry, but still a great ball none the less. Be careful because this ball's coverstock can nick up easily.

bare none, the best ball i have owned since the morich hercules, the ball impressed me right out the box and on the first night throwing it, i would own 2,3, even 4 more of these and recommand them to anyone looking for a quality ball to get them to the next level in there game, the banshee has a great frangrance and a great price tag on it, nothing better than getting a ball for a low price, but make you feel like you sold your soul for its quality, awesome ball, from a great company in storm.<

Covering Reaction: ...And when I say acute, I don't mean warm and fuzzy! I'm talking about a mean, razor sharp angle. This ball just likes to snap when it hits the dry boards in the backend, though be warned, it does not like too much oil down there! It will hook exceedingly early if it senses lack of oil in the midlane, therefore over-hooking, so you may want to consider putting it away at this point. But don't worry, this a perfect ball for when the shot breaks down and none of your other equipment is working well. This of course could also be a control problem on some conditions and even some bowlers just because of the high angularity potential of this bombshell... Covering Hit/Carry: One thing I found strange about this ball is that it doesn't carry like most other balls I have seen, it seems to have a flush-like appearance on most good carries. Though this is nothing to worry about, it doesn't like to leave pins very often either. This ball even carries most of the wierd

The eraser banshee is a great choice when you play inside on a lighter pattern. This is basically a new version of the original eraser. The difference is the original eraser has more backend and does not go as long. This is a wonderful ball for drier lanes with a late hook and pretty good backend. This is rather strange since the banshee has the aggressive monsoon pearl coverstock and this ball didn't make as much of a turn as I thought it would. This was suppose to be a Triple X Factor with less flare, about 2 inches less, since both balls had an equal RG of 2.52 and the same coverstock, monsoon pearl. Monsoon is supposedly comparable to Brunswick's activator, but I see many differences. Activator turns quicker and much harder on my blazing inferno than monsoon does for the eraser banshee. Overall the banshee is a great mid performance ball for tight shots or lighter oil.

Used this ball for the first time tonight and was impressed with how smooth this ball rolls. Ball did not over-react, no over under, on our house pattern. I would use this ball for medium to medium light oil patterns. I would not recommend for heavier oil patterns. Seemed to roll smooth through the drier heads and had a very nice controllable back end. Does not snap like the Charge or Hot Rod Pearl. Very nice ball to add to my arsenal. I own all Storm and I would place this between my X-factor and my Hot Rod Pearl. Pin is under ring finger with star pushed out to the right and extra weight hole taken out.

This ball is good for dry heads and oily backends it gets through dryheads easily with tons of length and can still hook in a medium amount of oil. I playing over 15 board to the ditch and i was bringing the ball back like nothing i have ever seen before! I recommend this ball to anyone whose looking for length and backend all in one package. In total i have thrown about 10 games with this ball and they have been 232,235,236,237,258,269,279,257,263,251 that is amazing for me! I have never had a ball react so well with such a late break point! Another Great Product From Storm!
