As you can see I have an angular one also drilled layout 1. I love that ball along with everything else ebonite is making I have about 30 games on the angular and have a 299 and a 300. I just got my DTP 2 weeks ago about 20 games on it with 3 770s sets and a 300. This ball has a very readable reaction. Its almost looks a arc skid flip which dosn"t make sense but this ball for me reads at the mid lane and dosnt stop moving very angular. I have been playing inside of forth arrow sending it out to about 5. The layout on this ball is also very similar to my angular accept the pin is under the fingers. This ball on our house is very forgiving and sends pins everyware. hits like a truck. STORM PLEASE RELEASE THIS BALL FOR EVERYONE AND DONT MAKE SUCH A SMALL AMOUNT OF THESE BALLS!

After hearing some of the great things about the first Dark Thunder, and since it became so hard to find, I jumped all over the chance to try the pearl version. Needless to say, I am not disappointed. The TR block has been a favorite of mine since the original Thunder Road(see my review). And the pearl Monsoon cover is just lengthy enough to allow the ball to spin up all the way through the midlane; and in the way a superball bounces off the ground with more acceleration then you threw it, the same happens when this ball finds backend...ANY backend. And to my surprise, carrydown only smooths the snap a little, and still hits like a 20 pound sledge. This may turn out to be one of the most underrated balls in history, but I am lucky enough to have one. Wish I would've got two. 10 out of 10.<
