Core Most commonly known to be the heart and soul of the Wrecker™, the Neutron™ Core will give you the length and strong down-lane motion you should expect from a 2.55 RG / .042 differential shape. Hands down the best performing core for the money! Cover Coming out of the box to you at a 3000-grit pad finish this hybrid cover takes versatility to a new level. Even with the surface out of the box this cover still glides down the lane but provides enough traction to combat more oil. And don’t worry, when we say versatile it is just that, sand it more for heavier oil or shine it up for less oil.

The Wreck-It is the long awaited follow up to the highly successful Wrecker. This version has a slightly stronger cover called Psyched, and comes from the factory with a 3000 abralon finish. The Wreck-It looks cool with it's gold & white pearl with black solid color combination. I drilled the Wreck-It with a 4 x 5 x 3 layout. In the box finish, the Wreck-It covered a lot of boards for me, in fact, too many boards. I had to knock the cover down some with some Storm step #1 to have a usable amount of board coverage. The Neutron core has been highly successful for many bowlers over the years. For me personally, I have either had a little too early or a little too late of ball motion with this particular core. The late-roll 56 version of this core (same basic shape with higher Rg and a lower differential) has been a little better for my particular ball roll. I have to have just the right oil pattern to have good ball reaction with my Wreck-It. For me, the Wreck-It is a definite improvement over my Wrecker though. The stronger cover has evened out the reaction for me a bit, and gives me a ball that is usable, on the right pattern shape, that being a true medium shot with moderate blend. The Wreck-It can give bowlers a big ball amount of hook, at a more budget friendly price. I like my Wreck-It more than I liked my Wrecker, as the Wrecker had a bit too much backend for me. With all of the different combinations of cover and core shapes out there, there is always going to be a ball that may not be as great for one bowler as it is for another. That is why it's so important to talk to a certified pro shop operator to find the right ball for the conditions that you are going to be bowling on. Thank you for taking the time to read my review of the Wreck-It.

The No Rules is the latest ball released in the HP4 line of Roto Grip bowling balls. The No Rules has a new core called Chaotic, and an enhanced version of the micro-bite cover from the Hyper Cell called Micro DNA. This ball is bright with the neon orange, black, and neon green color combination. The No Rules is the replacement for the Hyper Cell in the HP4 line. I drilled this No Rules with the same layout as my Hyper Cell, 3 ¾ x 6 ¼ x 2 ½. The Hyper Cell has been very good for me on heavier, flatter patterns, that I need a slow transition of my mass bias, as to not stand up too hard or too soon, which is why I tried the same layout on this No Rules. The No Rules stands up earlier, and has a stronger change of direction than the Hyper Cell. I have used the No Rules on many different patterns, with a few different surface changes. With this layout, my No Rules has actually been the best with about 500-1000 abralon on a long 51 foot medium volume pattern (the old TOC pattern), and to my surprise, highly polished and using a forward rolling release, on Cheetah. For my game, every time I have polished the Micro-bite, or in this case, the Micro DNA cover, I get a smooth transition on the backend of the lane. It doesn't make the ball store all of it's energy and go sideways, like a highly responsive reactive cover usually does for me. For me, the No Rules gives me the best motion through the pins when I can keep it in front of me with moderate head belly. When I start giving away the pocket too much, the layout I choose tends to come in behind the head pin, and if I try to go too direct at the pocket, the No Rules stands up too hard and goes through the face on me. I believe this is why the No Rules has rolled best for me either highly polished on short patterns, or very dull on longer lighter patterns. The No Rules has looked incredible for bowlers in my area that are more speed dominate, or bowlers bowling on very high volumes of oil. If you plan on bowling on some high volume patterns, and your current ball just isn't making the corner, talk to your local pro shop operator about a Roto Grip No Rules, and OWN IT!

Rev Rate: 400 Ball Speed: 17.3 Axis Tilt: 7 Axis Rotation: 45* PAP: 3 3/4 horizontal, 7/8 up Layout: 80 x 2 x 60 I drilled up the Wreck It to replace another symmetric that I use specifically on short patterns, thus the really short pin-to-pap. I've used it on PBA Regional Cheetah and Viper patterns as well as our house pattern. The out of box finish with this layout was a bit too erratic for any of these patterns. I had real issues with the ball being too strong off the point when trying to play the outside parts of the lane. It was reading the lane just fine, but it was storing just a bit too much energy than I need for those patterns. I hit it with a 2000 pad for it to read earlier and allow it to burn up a bit and made it smoother when it came out of the pattern. It is still a strong option, and I may hit it with a 1000 pad, just to see if it works better on the shorts, especially if I run up on Wolf anytime soon. This is a great ball for the price point and will be quite versatile. I decided to drill it for a very specific type of lane play, but this core/cover combination is going to be a hit for a variety of bowlers.

I tested my Wreck It on my 43-foot house shot. The 1500-polished pearl finish worked well for this condition. I pushed the ball to the dry area to gain some friction. My Wreck It is drilled with the pin up above the fingers and a dual thumb hole layout. I wanted to have a ball that would compliment my Deranged and have a nice skid flip reaction. This ball produced about 3-5 inches of flare. The ball skidded nicely through the heads as I played just inside the oil line skidding out to the dryer boards. Once the ball encountered some friction, it revved up nicely and made a pronounced move to the pocket. As with all Roto Grip balls, it drove through the pin deck. The Wreck It has a very predictable reaction, and with the 2.56 RG and .042 differential makes it a great addition for the lower rev medium speed league player who needs the extra length from the polished cover when the lanes begin to breakdown. What I enjoyed the most about this ball is the late breaking skid flip reaction. It produced a nice dramatic hook to the pocket and devastated the pins. What a fun ball to throw. The Wreck It is a nice go to ball for the league bowler and is good compliment to the Hectic and No Rules. This ball will make a nice addition to anyone's arsenal. Mike Johnston Roto Grip Staff

Roto Grip Wreck It Layout: pin above ring finger, cg kicked out an inch to the right. Condition: 41 ft HPL house shot I drilled the Wreck it to be my bench ball. The layout I put on this ball is very good for me. It gives me a nice read out of my bag to see how the lanes are playing. The ball is strong off of the spot, keeps the pins low and strikes a lot for me. For a mostly black ball with some gold and silver swirls to it, it has a sharp look going down the lane and gives off a good shelf appeal. Whatever your preference performance or look get out to you local pro shop and pick one up, you won't be disappointed. Roto Grip Own It

Weight: 14 lbs. Pin Length: 4" Drilling: 50X4X45 Pattern Length: 40 ft. Pattern Volume: Medium Pattern Type: House Right Handed The Wreck-It has the new Solid Neutron Core inside the Psyched Hybrid Reactive Coverstock. This ball has a similar look to the ever popular, and proven Wrecker, with a little stronger motion coming off the pattern. It is in the HP2 hook line, but hooks more like an HP3 ball. I have used the Wreck_It on 39 and 40 ft.house patterns and a 44 ft. sport pattern. For our 40 ft. house pattern, the Wreck-It is plenty of ball to start with, or a great go to ball from the No Rules. For the price point, you cannot beat what you are getting with the Wreck-It. It comes off the pattern a lot stronger than i expected, and continues through the pins very strong. I also used the Wreck-It on a 44 ft. sport pattern. When the lanes went into transition, the Wreck-It took over where the No Rules left off. I've drilled a 2nd Wreck-It with the pin down. This ball fits in perfectly when my other Wreck-it is going a little too long. If you're looking for an aggressive ball without breaking your wallet, the Wreck-It will not disappoint. It's a fixture in my arsenal. The No Rules, both Wreck-Its and the Hustle P/R/O are a complete arsenal for me. Carol Teel Roto Grip Amateur Staff Member

Roto Grip Wreck It Ball Review by PJ Haggerty The Wreck It by Roto Grip is the newest addition to the HP2 line. Being a huge fan of the Wrecker, I was excited to see Utah was making the same ball, but with a solid cover. This ball has been a home run so far and I'm really happy with how it rolls. I've drilled one so far and drilled it the same way my favorite Wrecker was drilled. It's mapped out as: 4 x 2.5 x 30 with a 1' hole on my axis. With that layout, I also tweaked the surface by using a 4000 pad with water to create a bit more length and pop down lane. I've noticed the Wreck It provides players with a cleaner, but very predictable and smooth shape down lane. The response time is slower with this ball as well because of the solid coverstock. I've had a lot of success with the Wreck It on high friction surfaces and tougher patterns because of the clean, but slow response time. If you need something that's going to get down the lane easy, but provide a smooth and predictable shape at the break point, the Wreck It would be a nice solution for you! #OwnIt

The newest addition to the RotoGrip HP2 line is the Wreck IT. The Wreck IT features the Psyched Hybrid Coverstock wrapped around the proven Neutron Core. The combination is a very aggressive ball that still motions down lane. The Wreck IT fills the gap that was in the HP2 line... HOOK! I layout out my Wreck IT with pin below the bridge with the cg kicked out and down with a medium size extra hole also down. The coordinates are roughly 45 by 5 ½ by 75 and that is off my PAP which is 5 5/8 over and ¾ up. I was able to throw the Wreck IT and a couple other balls on various patterns for comparison. The first pattern was a flat 40 foot sport pattern. The Wreck IT was very readable and strong at the break point early on. The issue arose when the heads started to burn up and forced me to move left. My rev rate being around 300 and slower speed did not help the Wreck IT retain enough energy to get through the pins correctly. I believe with a slightly different drill or a surface change this issue would be resolved or just change balls to something that goes longer like the Wrecker or HyWire. That is what I did. The other pattern which I bowled on was the famous house pattern but on two different surfaces. The Wreck IT on the THS or a tighter surface is money. I could play straighter and keep the oil line to the left and strike for days. The over under was drastically reduced compared to the Wrecker and also the HyWire. The Wreck IT on the THS with a lot of friction was a little different because of the surface on the Wreck IT. The Wreck IT was a monster early and I had room to the right but my angle was drastic. Again in this circumstance a little polish would go a long way for this ball to stay in play! I did not want to adjust the surface so I changed balls to the Wrecker and Bam back into my comfort zone. The Wreck IT and Wrecker is great one two punch for anyone on a budget! The Wreck IT is another solid addition to the RotoGrip Family of bowling balls!

The Roto Grip Wreck-It takes advantage of a new, stronger coverstock to give you a stronger, but similarly shaped option to the original Wrecker. With a hybrid Psyched coverstock that showed itself to be stronger than I had expected, it still has the versatility to look good with many different surface preparations. The Roto Grip Wreck-It creates a medium-high amount of friction and is best used as a medium-slow response time option with more closed angles. The new addition to the Roto Grip HP2 Line is the Wreck-it. RG uses a new Hybird cover (Psyched Hybrid Reactive) wrapped on the successful (Wrecker)Neutron Core. Where the Wrecker could get a little snappy on the back end the Wreck-it is a much more smoother earlier motion. Overall a stronger ball motion than the previous Wrecker. With this motion the Wreck it can handle more oil, and a variety of lane conditions. Very versatile cover as it adjust to sanding or polishing very well. I drilled mine pin down 4.25x4.25x4.25 no hole. Wreck-it will also fit all styles of bowlers. With the No Rules and the Wreck-it these are becoming my 2 favorite balls in my arsenal. The Roto Grip Wreck IT is the newest release in Roto Grips HP2 Line. The ball is the hybrd version of Roto Grips Wrecker. The Wreck IT is covered with the Psyched Hybrid coverstock and is finished at 3000 grit Matte. The ball surrounds the Neutron Core and the colors are Gold, white, ad Black. The Wreck IT screams benchmark ball to me. The overall reaction is strong but not too strong where you can’t control it. I drilled mine with a 50x5x45 layout which gives me length with a moderately smooth backend reaction. This ball reminds me of the Roto Grip Devour but is a bit stronger overall. The Wreck It is very versatile and can be used anywhere from 2nd arrow to 5th arrow depending on the oil pattern. I recommend this ball for a bowler who needs that medium oil pattern ball. Like I said before it’s a great benchmark ball because of its versatility. You can also shine it up and give it more length for drier lanes or for a more stronger backend pop.

The Wreck It is the newest release in Roto Grip’s HP2 line. The combination of the symmetric Neutron core and the Psyched hybrid coverstock, makes this one of the more versatile balls in the Roto line to date. I drilled mine with the pin under my ring finger (4.5”) with no extra hole. With this layout, the Wreck it revs up mid-lane and makes a STRONG move down lane. It doesn’t pick up nearly as early as the new No Rules, but still has a strong enough cover/core to be used on medium-heavy conditions. In my ball motion video, I threw the No Rules and the Wreck It on a 43’ medium volume sport pattern and was able to get them both to match up very nicely. You can find that video here: https://youtu.be/XwYDJHFiBck.

Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 375 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 5/8 straight across Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS Layout: 40, 5 ½, 40 w/p1 hole The Wreck-it is the long awaited sequel to the Wrecker. It’s wrapped in a new smoother hybrid cover with the same Wrecker core. The result is an earlier, smoother ball that’s overall more aggressive. I love the Wrecker, but it’s too clean and too snappy to use all the time. The Wreck-it solves that problem. The new cover allows the ball to read the lane early enough to use on the fresh, but still creates plenty of backend. The Wreck-it and Wrecker are the perfect pair!

Once again I'm blown away by a mid priced release. This must be the trend that companies are following. I drilled my Wreck-It and NORules on the same day. I took them both out during my summer league practice, got stretched out, tossed them and couldn't believe that the wreck-it out hooked the NoRules....I drilled the Wreck-It with a pin under my fingers, which is a 5 inch from pap, and my cg swung 45 dergees with a balance hole on my val. I was expecting a smooth and stable roll and that is what I got, just an arrow stronger than I thought. I'm drilling two tonight for my customers, I'll add to the post after the results. Go get this ball. If you are a Pro Shop guy or gal, go sell these bad boys! You'll Love It and Wreck It! #ownit #rotogrip

The Wreck-It is surprisingly and insanely strong for the price point. This ball outhooks balls two "lines" higher than it, as it hooks more than Storm's Thunder Line and MOST balls in the Master line. This ball could easily be in Roto's HP3 line, and bears no similarity to any other ball in the HP2 line, aside from being recognized by shape as a Wrecker on HGH. I feel this ball is best used with some polish on the conditions it was designed for if you have average speed and average revs, the box surface prep makes it too strong for the conditions it's designed for, but the core isn't quite strong enough to make it better than other options on heavier oil conditions. This is a continuous, hard arcing ball that you can be firm with and project with confidence on light to medium conditions.

The Wreck-It is a great Dry to Medium Oil Lane Ball. During the beginning of a THS I stood 20 throwing out to 5. The ball amazingly smooth through the front part of the lane. When it got to the outside you think she would take off, but to the opposite. She reacted very smoothly and the hook was so controlled. The pin reaction was amazing. The best part about this ball was when the lanes broke down for everyone else I never had to move more than 2 to 3 boards all night. The Wreck-It would be a great back up ball for those who throw the No Rules and their main ball. Amazing Ball.

Bowler: Keven Williams Hand: Left Speed: 18.5mph Rev Rate: 450rpm Oil Pattern: Typical House Shot The Roto Grip Wreck-It is everything you could want in a hybrid Wrecker. At times the Wrecker was just too snappy off the spot down lane, but not with the Wreck-It! The Wreck-It has just about the same amount of hook overall as the Wrecker but is much earlier and smoother. It really blends out the friction and continuous like crazy down lane! Bowlers will be able to throw the Wreck-It on a numerous amount of conditions since it clears the front part of the lane so well while always getting into a strong yet smooth roll. You can throw it on heavy oil or late in the day when the lanes start to hook. You cant go wrong with the Roto Grip Wreck-It in your bag!

Roto Grip Wreck-It Layout: Label pin up Finish: 3000 grit Condition: 42 ft. THS on older HPL with a KEGEL FLEX with Fire and Ice conditioners with Defense-C cleaner. Test results comparing to the Eternal Cell: The Wreck-It had about the same amount of overall hook as the Eternal Cell, and overall it performed very closely to it. It is 5-6 boards stronger than the Hustle SAY that has the same cover, but weaker core. It’s amazing how much difference the core makes a difference with this coverstock. The ball did labor a little when playing deep inside without swing the whole lane, I believe it was due to amount of volume the THS that I bowl on has. The ball worked the best just outside the track area and responded really well even after the oil was moved around and pushed down lane. I bowled a few games on a house pattern that was lighter in volume and length, and this would be the main ball I would use in that center. Does well on light to medium level of oil on the THS. Great ball for people with slower ball speeds and people that enjoy playing like a stroker or a tweener. The Wreck-It has it covered for you.
