Roto Grip Top Fuel Bowling Ball

(8 reviews) Write a Review
Roto Grip® continues its constant quest for state of the art technology and the Top Fuel™ is no exception. We took the Cyclotron™ core from the original Fuel and combined it with the all new Ultimate Grip™ reactive coverstock to give you one of the strongest reactive balls ever made. The Ultimate Grip™ reactive coverstock has a special additive found in the polymer industry to enhance friction. This translates into more “hook” throughout the lane and enhanced backend reaction. The coverstock is easily adjusted with the use of scotch-brite pads and polishes.

wonderful.. definately not my last roto-grip ball! i wanted a ball for heavy oil, started looking for one and i found this top fuel. talk to my coach and ball driller bout it and found it suitable for me. On dry lanes, it revs up too early, hence, losing its potential of backend and impact, thats wat i learnt from 2 days of medium-dry. I went on fresh oil and WOAH! wat a difference, skids a lil, starts to rev, and when it comes in.. WHAMP! from the 20th board to 7th board and snaps.. graceful, smooth and energetic.. ball not to be missed... thanx roto-grip

ANOTHER WINNER FROM THE RESURGENT ROTO GRIP FAMILY.THE COMBINATION OF STORM AND ROTO IS DEFINITELY A HOT ONE RIGHT NOW.THE BALL PROVIDES RELATIVE EASE THROUGH THE FRONTS FOR A SOLID PIECE,THEN PROVIDES GREAT MID LANE READ.THE BACKEND REACTION IS CONSISTENT ROLL THROUGH THE PINS.THE BALL HITS AND KEEPS THE PINS LOW CREATING GOOD CARRY FOR MOST PEOPLE.AS WITH MOST SOLIDS,EVEN WITH A POLISHED SURFACE,THE BALL MUST GO AWAY AS THE OIL GOES.THE TOP FUEL COMPLIMENTS THE ROTO LINE VERY WELL.I USED A 4"PIN LAYOUT,POSITIONED 4.5" ABOVE THE CENTER LINE AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE RING FINGER.CG 2.5" FROM MY PAP,MASS BIAS KICKED TOWARDS MY VAL.

We drilled this ball for Willie Willis a couple of weeks ago. This ball was laid out with the pin above the fingers, and the CG a half inch off the grips line. Willie has used this at a variety of League and Tournament conditions. Willie found that this ball to work very well then the lanes had head oil. This ball makes a move smooth arcing move to the pocket. This is a good ball for medium oil. If you like the Fuel, you will need to add this to the bag. Roto-Grip as made another great ball. Thanks - Hank. If you have any questions, just email me at Bill@BuddiesProShop.com Thanks, Bill BuddiesProShop.com

I was expecting much much more hook than what I have gotten so far, which is not a bad thing. In bowling on wooden lanes that are 42 years old the house shot changes rapidly during the course of the night. Usually this season I have had to change equipment at least once during the course of the night as the lanes break down but so far this is not the case with the Top Fuel. The ball performed equally well during the early part of the night as well as at the end of the night. As others were forced to change to harder, straighter balls I was able to stay with the Top Fuel. As the lanes dried out this ball did not start over-reacting. I drilled the ball with the CG and PIN both 3 3/8 inch from my axis to try and get more flip at the back end. The ball rolls well through the mid-lane and then hits the pocket very hard. This is the 1st Roto Grip ball I have had since the old UC2 and thus far I am very pleased with it.

The ball will work great in the regional condition with oil and good back ends. I have been amazed at how hard the ball hits and carries the pins low to the deck. I wish I would have got more then one to drill, It is a great ball to get through the heads and just demolishes the pins when it drives on the back end. I drilled to get through the heads and maxium flare on backend and that is what it does.was a great investment into the bag!!!!!! I can't wait to drill the silver streak pearl!

well with all the balls that i have drilled this one truly stands out....most of my balls are skid snap but i drilled this one to ROLL...and it does, and boy does it hit hard...another thing that it seems to do is carry flat tens more where the six just hits into the 10 harder...overall i give it a 9 out of a 10....i was practicing the other day with it and shot a 3000 with it and 788 for set, so i have a tournamnet tomorrow we will see how it does if it is the right ball to use...thank u for reading and if u want a hard hitting ball then get this.....cody

If u have the ball drilled up just like me u will have a nice even arc to the pocket every time and if u put forward roll on the. you have to get it drilled with a 2 inch pin u have to have ur ring finer next to the pin it will have a nice evn arc to the pocket. i bowled with the top fuel a 764 series with my first roto grip ball i thought i did pretty damn good. also if u bowl on the sport shot it is a good ball i like to crank the ball on the sport shot with this ball it hits like a damn MAC truck thats all i have to say

As I was saying in the likes. This ball preformed extremley well in the oil. Most guys at this tournament could not get the ball reaction that I was getting from the Top Fuel. They would get over under because of so much oil. I found a nice line and I did not have to mave all night. After the three games of quailifing I was number 1. It took -8 to make the top 40 and I was plus 124. I never had so many people ask me what I was throwing for the night. So if you are looking for a ball for the oil this is the one. Just make sure you give the ball some surface and put it away when they dry up.<scr
