Roto Grip Hustle USA by Casey Murphy
Orientation: Right Handed Rev Rate: 400 RPM Speed: 16-17 MPH PAP: 4 ½ over and ½ up Location: Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO Pattern: High Volume THS VLS Layout: Layout 1: 5 x 4 x 2 ½ (pin above bridge) Layout 2: 4 ½ x 4 x 4 1/8 (pin below bridge) The Hustle USA is easily the strongest Hustle ever made. First, it looks amazing on the wall, MERICA! Next it rolls great. I have it a little heavier rolling and stronger than my other Hustles. The Camo and Wine could be a little two weak at times and I have the USA a little earlier rolling with more overall hook. It's another great addition to the Hustle line.

The Hustle USA is unique because to me it is stronger than the previous Hustles. I believe that comes from the cover, so I'm excited to polish it and see how much that changes the reaction. I've thrown it a few games now in practice. The weak core gets it down the lane, but the cover gets it to see the mid lane, so it reacts more like a benchmark ball. I'm going to polish it in the next couple days, and I'm guessing that's the surface I will keep it at. For the people with higher ball speed, the surface will help you tremendously and you will love this ball right out of the box. I'm glad that Storm made this ball, to show respect to the country and for those that fight for our freedom! This ball brings that classic Hustle performance to your bag on house shots and lighter volume/shorter patterns. As a rev dominant player, I can play up the friction with this ball and as they open up, i can go across the pattern and still get the ball to continue off the spot. The Hustle is characterized by an earlier, smoother shape akin to the IQ Tour, but far weaker overall. This baby-IQ Tour reaction is great on conditions where the IQ Solid is too early or too slow. Go to your local pro shop and pick yours up!

Ball Specs: Roto Grip Hustle USA 3000 grit VTC™ Hybrid Reactive Weight Block: Hustle™ (Symmetrical) Color: Ultra Red/Snow/Azure (USA) Review: There is NO reason to not love this line of bowling balls. They cater to literally every bowler in the world, regardless of skill level and is priced so reasonably that its worth its weight in gold. For the seasoned veterans you can expect an extremely versatile low end hybrid, something to keep transition to late in a block if you are needing to move right (even if the conditions are drying up). For the novice bowler you can expect great value in your purchase, getting a great piece of equipment for pennies over an entry level reactive bowling ball. The color options also appeal to novice bowlers who may care more about color than performance. The trusted Hustle core is in many bowling record books for a reason, it's just that good. USA baby!!! The Hustle USA is perfect for those lighter oil conditions. This entry level ball in the HP1 line is perfect for new bowlers looking for their first hooking ball which will provide plenty of control or those higher skilled players when the lanes don't have as much volume and/or seem to hook too much. The Hustle USA is a hybrid with the VTC Coverstock which is known for control. The Hustle USA is an excellent performing ball for its price point.

Hustle USA - Ball Specs Cover Stock: VTC Hybrid Reactive Finish: 3000 Grit Abralon Color: Ultra Red/Snow/Azure (USA) Core: Hustle Core Layout: 75 x 4 1/4 x 40 RG: 2.53 Differential: 0.030 Review The Roto Grip HP1 line has another winner. The Hustle USA features the iconic Hustle Core wrapped in the VTC hybrid reactive cover. I tested this ball on a 44 feet typical house pattern. As a medium to low rev player, I see this ball being great on medium to light oil patterns. I was able to play in the track area and down and in up the five board. This ball stands up in the midlane with a strong finish on the backend. My ball is drilled with the pin stacked over the ring finger. The Hustle USA is a must have for league and tournament bowlers. Now available for preorder at your local pro shop! My ball reviews are posted on YouTube channel Stanley Waite. Stanley Waite 900 Global Staff Member Dover, DE

Layout 4 ½ x 30 Surface – 3000 Grit box The Hustle USA brings back the popular Hustle Core and the VTC Hybrid coverstock found on the Hyped Hybrid. The new 3000 grit finishing process allows this Hustle to handle much more oil volume compared to the 1500 polished finish of the Hustle Camo and Hustle Wine when compared side by side. The Hustle USA gives a lot of power for the purchase price. This could be a great ball for those who bowl on lower to medium oil volumes, a first reactive ball or those who just like the Hustle line. I got to test this ball out on both a 45' Sport Pattern and a Typical House Pattern. Test pattern: 45' Sport Pattern When throwing the Hustle USA on the 45' Sport Pattern, I was pleasantly surprised with how well the ball read the front and midlane of the pattern. My breakpoint was most consistent between 12 and 14. With the amount of oil volume and length, outside of the 12 board did not see much recovery. Utilizing more surface of 500 or 1000 abralon helped it see the overall pattern more and gave a little more miss room to the outside. For best results, I would recommend this Hustle for pattern breakdown where control is still necessary or for the fresh on short to medium length patterns. House Pattern Test The out of box factory surface allows the Hustle to read stronger and be smoother than the other current balls in the Hustle Line. This makes the ball much more useful for the fresh house pattern which is where I found it to be most beneficial for my game. Those also with lower rev rates or who bowl on medium volumes of oil will also find the same benefit. Those who bowl on low volumes or have high rev rates will want to likely utilize a polished or higher grit finish to promote more length and backend. I didn't have any trouble opening the lanes up with this Hustle even as the lanes broke down. As I got further left with my feet, however, my carry percentage started to drop. Balling down to a Hustle Wine or Hyped Pearl would have been more sufficient. Adam Chase Storm Staff

Hustle USA Coverstock: 3000 VTC Hybrid Reactive Weight block: Hustle (Symmetric) Review: Another great addition to the Hustle line. The Hustle USA is a hybrid that fits in between the Wine and the Camo. The Hustle line continues to offer better then great value for the price point. Personally, I loved this ball out of box and used in on our second league that bowls on the burn. The Hustle USA offered great mid lane roll with a nice backend pop. I could also see this as a great ball during those long tournaments where the lanes start to burn up. This ball is going to be great for beginners who want to get the best bang for their buck. If you are a high average bowler who is looking to fill out your bag with a lane that works great when the lanes begin to dry up make sure you pick one up! Hands down the best entry level balls in the business are the Roto Grip Hustles and you can add another great piece to that list. The Hustle USA is the latest hybrid to the Hustle line in a perfect Red, White and Blue looking ball. I drilled mine 5 x 5 x 3 and I was super impressed with this ball out of the box. I have had a lot success with the Hustle line with the Hustle PBR being my favorite one of all time and this USA reminds me of the PBR. The shape this ball gives me is super close to the PBR even though it might be a hair cleaner with more pop but compared to the RAP which was the last hybrid Hustle we had, its not even a fair comparison. The RAP was a ball I could use when there was a lot of friction on the lanes but when it saw the oil it defiantly wasn't the right ball but the USA not only loves the dry, it also loves oil! This is going be a very versatile ball in the Roto Grip line and this will be the first ball out of my bag on league nights !

Cover: Versatile Traction Control (VTC) Hybrid Core: Hustle Ball Finish: 3000 RG: 2.55 (14lb) Differential: 0.030 (14 lb) Me: Right-Handed Tweener Speed: 12-13 mph Rev Rate: 315 Ball Layout: Pin over Bridge 5 1/8 Pin to Pap 2 3/4 Pin Buffer The Hustle line has been the best performaning line of entry-level balls on the market for years now. Whatever formulation is chosen to wrap the hustle core in, one thing that can always be counted on is a ball that will out-perform it's price point. The new Hustle USA is probably the best example of hook at a great value that has ever been introduced to the market. The Hustle USA in my opinion has the strongest cover that has been featured in the Hustle line. The Hybrid VTC at it 3000 grit finish creates a much stronger mid-lane motion than you would expect from an HP1 ball. The resulting motion is much rounder than any of the other Hustles. This line has been a staple for me on the drier house conditions I'm used to encountering, but the Hustle USA is in play even on the current high volume 43 ft pattern used in my home center. I used the USA the second game of league the first week I had it. I figured it would be better when the lanes had opened up but decided to see how it looked in the transition. I immediately regretting not taking it out at the beginning of the night, I spent the first few frames moving left, as I kept expecting to hit the right location with my feet with each small move, but it was a substantial move left before I found the pocket. The USA definitely doesn't miss the breakpoint and I felt like I needed to be pretty steep with my angle through the front AND bring the speed up a bit to get it down-lane. For Pro Shop operators I would suggest stocking this ball in multiple weights as it is definitely going to be the strongest ball available in it's price point. It's ideal for customers who don't want to spend High Performance money but need the help of a strong covered ball to see motion.

Hustle USA – WWRD 8/19/2022 Roto Grip's new Hustle USA is a Hybrid Symmetrical piece that is good for Dry-Medium lane conditions. PAP is 5 5/16 R 1 3/16 Up. Drilled it with the Pin above the Bridge and the CG kicked out 1 ½". It gets length with continuous backend motion through the pins for a High performance ball at an affordable price point. Compared to the Hustle Camo, PBR, and Wine, this is the stronger piece out of the Hustle line. If your looking to save money on a strong piece, this is the piece for you.

The Hustle USA features the VTC Hybrid cover at a 3000 grit finish, and the Hustle core at a 2.53 RG, and a .030 in 15 pounds. The USA is a quite different shape from the Wine and Camo, it's earlier and smoother, plus it has more of a tumbly gradual roll and shape rather than the longer and quicker round roll of the Wine and Camo. However, the USA is a very similar strength to the Wine and Camo. The Hustle line as a whole is a very solid light to medium oil choice that succeed on regular house shots as well as tougher sport patterns. Bryanna Cote notably just won on the PWBA with the USA because of its strong, gradual roll and control. They're definitely more of light to medium condition performance balls than entry level balls, they are a great choice for a novice or beginner bowler to help them start understanding about bowling balls that hook, but they're obviously also a great tool for the best in the game at the highest levels of competition. The USA fits as a ball up from the Tropical Surge line, a ball sideways from the other Hustles, the Burners, and the Electrify Pearl, a half step down from the Hyped line, and a ball down from the IQ Tour and Hyroad.

Roto Grip Hustle USA Ball Review by Ric McCormick
MERICA!!!!! The newest addition in the Hustle Line is the brand new Hustle USA! This Hustle personally I feel is the best of the Hustle! The USA features the VTC Hybrid Coverstock wrapped around the Hustle Core! My Hustle USA is drilled pin over my ring finger and gives me the best of both worlds comparing the Hustle PBR and Hustle Camo! The USA reads the body of the lane hard like a PBR with more downlane but is smoother than the Camo! This Hun style would be a great addition in your bag for an entry level ball with a Big Bang for your Buck! Head over to your local Pro Shop and get yours 8/19/22!
