Hustle R/I/G

This is my favorite Hustle to date. I've been able to bail out a few sets with this ball, when the lanes get unexpectedly funky. If our house pattern ends up with too much oil towards the outside, I've been quite successful using the RIG to play between 5-10 with a little bounce and keeping the pocket the whole night. Normally, I can't stay that far right on a THS, but when ours gets this way, I will either use a Pitch Black (and I'm not a urethane guy) or the RIG. The RIG doesn't roll too early and isn't as sharp as the POW, so it makes a nice smooth move that makes my life so easy on those strange pattern nights. The RIG will be in my bag for quite a while, especially on our THS.

In drilling this ball I was looking for something with length and could control the pattern and not be to snappy. This ball lived up to my expectations. While the lanes were fresh all I needed to donwas send the ball left and it just walked back to the pocket. As the set progressed and the oil pushed down I was able to to move a couple boards right with my feet and lay down spot and never missed a beat. I highly recommend this ball for a drier lane condition or an introductory ball. This ball has good shelf appeal and is available now. I drilled The Hustle POW and Hustle RIG to compliment my Hustle SAY/PRO's that I have. The POW was 75* x 5 x 35 while the RIG was 50 x 5 x 60 (pin in the ring finger). Both layouts compliment each other very well with the POW getting started later but in a stronger move than the RIG. The RIG is smoother and just a little earlier in it's motion off the back. I would recommend either the POW or RIG if you need more length than your SAY/PRO are giving you. These make great short length or lower volume pattern balls.

Roto Grip Hustle RIG Layout: 45 x 2 ½ x 45 Finish: 1500 grit polished Condition: 42 ft. THS on older HPL with a KEGEL FLEX with Fire and Ice conditioners with Defense-C cleaner. Results: With the short PAP layout, this ball flipped over harder than my Match Pearl with a very similar layout. Very aggressive back end and the ball's overall length was extra-long, which is good on older HPL like I bowl on, will be an awesome short oil pattern ball for me, gives me a longer length and but a good strong angle into the pocket that will needed at certain times on THS also. Flippy – yes, and I love it. I usually don't get to see any bowling balls to enter the pocket at that angle, but I could start to like it.

If you are looking for a ball that reacts smoothly through the front and still recovers nicely. The Hustle R/I/G and Hustle P/O/W are the balls you need. I drilled both of these balls 4 x 4 x 2. My PAP is 4 x 11/16. I was able to throw both of these balls on a fresh White #2 House Pattern and a few shorter PBA Patterns and these balls were amazing. On the House Shot, I played 15 to 5 and they reacted so smoothly through the front part of the lanes and had amazingly strong and controllable backend. I would say that the R/I/G was a little weaker for some reason but it was a great drop down from the P/O/W when I needed it. Both these balls are a must for someone who is looking for a nice Medium to Dry lane ball and for those that have a lot of hook like myself, these are great balls to have in your arsenal.

They are super clean in the fronts and really go sideways off the dry!
