Ball specs – 15 lbs 2 oz, 2.32 top weight, 2.5 inch pin. The Cell was punched using the dual angle layout method, 4.5” pin X 45 degree drill angle X 65 degree VAL angle. This put the pin just under the ring ringer and the mass bias (RG) on the VAL. The CG ended up 2.5 inches directly under the pin as it was 1 ½ inches left of the line drawn between the pin and the mass bias (RG). An X-hole was not needed. The Cell arrived polished, which is different than the 2000 abralon finish described by the literature. I’ve had a chance to throw the Cell on a slicker house condition and also on the Storm Dream Challenge tournament condition (challenging) and all I can say is what an amazing ball motion. Even polished, on both conditions, it read the mids very good and provided a very strong, controlled and continuous motion to the pocket. The Cell also provides explosive hit and carry. This is definitely a ball that you want at least one of in your bag because the ball motion is so

What a ball! One of the easiest balls to dial in on basically any condition with oil up front. Very smooth, continuous movement. Great carry. Ball stores energy very well. Still amazed at how easy it is to get lined up. Just feed it oil and watch it arc. No skid/flip here. I believe this ball performs better on tighter more difficult patterns. Just watch ESPN on Sunday and just in three weeks it seems as if all the free agent exempt players are using this ball. That says a lot. I believe we have a ball of the year candidate here.

I drilled my Cell 4x4 and used a 4000 abralon pad on it followed by trip to the ball spinner with some Storm Xtra Shine. On my normal league house shot when tugged in the oil most balls hold pocket, but often leave the weak 10. On the other hand, if I miss to the right the ball banks off the dry and through the beak. Even if I'm all over the lane, my Cell carries the 10 better than any other ball and it also doesn't over react off the dry. I had or have a Quest, Odyssey, SD, Saga, Battle, Oracle, Oracle Wisdom and Ultra Sonic which have all been great balls - especially the Saga. The Cell is definitely something else. Believe the hype!
