Covering Reaction: What can I say. Much of the time when I used the ball enigmatic was the first word that came to mind. This ball does have a very smmoth arc to the pins, and on the right conditions can be perfect, however to much of the time this ball was very inconsistant. You would throw it one place one turn and it would crush the pocket. The next turn, you threw it the same place, and it wuld leave a wash out. Of couse this means the ball was just very hard to control and even vexatious on many medium paterns. When you did find the right condition for this ball though, it would glide to the pocket and crush it, consistantly. Those conditions were unfortunaely just hard to find much of the time... Covering Hit/Carry: Like all the other Erasers, this ball has great hit and carry. Often timjes, it would merely have to get close to the pocket and all 10 pins woud be down. Like many other storm balls, this ball didn't have the trademark rediculously hard hit you see so often

The ball I use(d) was drilled with length on dry lanes in mind. The pin is above the fingers at the 12 o'clock postion with the CG one inch off the center of the grip. The ball works extremely well on a burnt out shot, it goes through broken down heads and saves all of its energy for the end of the lane. When it starts to snap, it doesnt stop and drives through the pocket. I found it to have excellent pin action and carry even with lighter hits. On medium to heavier oil (sport shot) the ball tends to be a bit more difficult to control, though i was able to play straight down 5 and was pleasantly surprised when the ball turned over and made its way to the pocket. Overall, the Eraser Burn Carbide is a very forgiving and controllable ball, and hits solid on the right condition. The only problem I had with it was finding one, a difficult task in the states.

I drilled this ball for my son , slightly above average speed and hand, Throwing this ball on the local house shot (35feet - synthetic heads - wood lanes , it's a very old 8 lane center). This ball does not like heavy oil so usually it does not come out till game 2 when they have broken down a bit. I drilled this ball with the pin just below the fingers at 5" with the mass bias swung to the strong position. This ball gets a nice roll in the midlane and at about 45-feet makes a real strong move to the pocket and just kills the pins. In some ways it is actually a little too strong for this house as it leaves a lot of 9 pins. Basically now days my son throws this and his freedom and can cover all but a flood

We have receved a lot of town of Core power LRG but By a Little mistake, we receved a ball than it was not a core power but a overseas ball an Eraser Burn Carbide than i take this ball with me and i try this ball on the lane. In the started on the game, this ball begin to hit realy hard backend on the lane. It was hard to controle but at the end it was so easy than you take a candy from a baby to shoot this ball on the lane and make a strike on the lane. The Eraser Burn Carbide is a particule pearls, it's a backend, the lane condition is medium oil and the smell is banana. It's too bad than we can't order those ball beceause this ball must be the great ball for the north america. But if you have a chance to buy this ball than go ahead try to have it beceause you'r gonna love it Good luck!!!

Overall I like the ball, but I have only used it once so far and the lane conditions were soaked the first two games. I have the ball drilled medium RG-strong, pin under the ring, CG offset to the right of the palm with a weight hole about 1and a half under the PAP. I will update this review upon further use of the ball. So far I was fairly impressed. It hits as hard as my eraser and can be used on a lighter condition. The ball is a 14 and one half, with a 2.22 top weight with a 2-2.5 pin. It is finished 1500 grit polished. I think I would perfer a matte finish and may eventually change the cover to a matte finish.
