Color: Gray Pearl / Lime Pearl Coverstock: Helix HFP Reactive Weight Block: Vanquish Factory Finish: 5000 Grit Radius of Gyration (RG): 2.47 Differential (Diff): 0.056 The United Revolt is the first pearl ever offered by MOTIV in the Revolt line and it delivers impressive performance on medium-heavy oil. Utilizing new Helix HFP Reactive technology for the cover and the low RG Vanquish core, the United Revolt provides length yet reads the oil transition incredibly well to give bowlers a strong backend motion that is highly consistent. The new Helix HFP (High Friction Pearl) Reactive cover stock is specifically engineered to compliment the Vanquish core and give the United Revolt outstanding motion down lane with devastating continuation. To provide more length and a faster response to friction, the pearl shell is tuned with a 5000 Grit LSP finish. The Vanquish core continues to be used in the Revolt line for medium-heavy oil because it has a low RG and enormous differential. The 15# model has a 2.47 RG and .056 differential. This enables the United Revolt to provide plenty of track flare and easy revs, which create more friction and hook potential. The United Revolt is not only a great compliment to the Primal Fear, but is also the perfect ball to move down to when the Trident begins to produce too much friction.

Bob Benton Maryland Motiv United Revolt ( http://www.motivbowling.com/products/balls/united-revolt.html) 70 x 5 x 35 (2000 Abralon) Personal Stats: 400-450 RPM 18-20 MPH PAP - 5 5/8" over, 1" up Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees Current League Average: 238 Intended Use: I wasn't sure what to expect out of my United Revolt. The other Revolts I drilled were all notorious for strong controllable motion. A pearl cover on this ball led me to putting a pin-over-the-fingers layout on it, looking for a strong, but angular motion on heavier volume/longer patterns. Reaction: With the pin-up layout, the United Revolt nailed what I was looking for. In terms of pure boards covered, this piece is near the top of my bag on longer patterns. The United Revolt allows me to play more left to right than balls like the Jackal Ghost or Primal Rage Remix. Overall: If I need angle on a longer pattern, this is my go-to. The United Revolt brings a unique motion to the med-heavy oil category in the Motiv line. I have used this ball on everything from 35ft to 47ft and it doesn't disappoint, always delivering entry angle to strike.

Where to begin the review of this highly anticipated release. The need for a medium heavy oil ball with a pearl cover stock and low RG is a must in my opinion. The reality of the day is we are seeing more and more oil and longer patterns. So how do we control the break point without having a ball that over reads the mid lane. The answer to this is the United. My initial opinion of this ball is well, truly amazing. There have been a few pieces over the years that have transcended and lived a life of there own. The Sigma Tour, Original Primal Rage and the Venom Shock come to mind. So does this ball fit in the conversation of truly transcendent equipment? Only time will tell. First thing I noticed about the United was the amazing color combination. The next thing I noticed was the Cover, the cover has a different feel to the cover. The feel isn't like most shinny pearl, there is a texture to cover. The United has a great core/cover combination. The Low Rg core and the strong pearl cover combine to get what I feel is the signature Motiv Roll. The heavy roll, mid lane control and break point movement. This roll is what brought me to Motiv in the first place and the roll I truly love. This roll is a wonderful blend of control and skid flip. I drilled this ball with 55 X 4.75 x 60 lay out P3 motion hole placement. The lay out design for myself was to keep the ball controllable, yet be able to stand in the puddle and use the bump. What I have found thus far is the need for some wax in the front part of the lane in order to get the United to the spot down lane. Without wax in the front the ball will burn up and not finish as well. I am really excited to see how this ball transitions over time and can not wait to see how this ball stacks up against some of the aforementioned greats. Clayton Mohr Motiv Staff

Alright, so let us clear the air. MOTIV has decided to continue to build on the existing Revolt line with the United Revolt. Now many of you MOTIV faithful out there may recall that the previous Revolt was the Revolt Havoc. Let's be honest, the Havoc was hot and cold for the Revolt line given its very early ball roll. Some found that the early roll was a great asset where others... well... we will just leave it at that. So how does MOTIV proceed from here with the Revolt line? How could it be tweaked we wonder? What could they marry with one of the greatest assets the Revolt line possessed, smoother ball roll? If the answer is not in an earlier roll... lets go in the other direction... BACKEND! I feel MOTIV has accomplished something unique with the United Revolt. One of my favorite characteristic of the Revolt lineup has always been the smoothness of their ball reaction yet it still possesses a large weight block in the Vanquish core. The issue at times with smoother ball reactions unfortunately is that it can require a 'perfect' entry angle into the pocket, otherwise, it won't generate the properly pin action or drive through the pin deck the right way to snap out corner pins. This was an issue I experienced with the Havoc as I've expressed in my Havoc review. The beauty of the United Revolt is that, although it still maintains the Revolt roots with still containing a smoother ball reaction, the new High Friction Pearl (that's right, it's a Pearl!) cover stock provides length and remarkable down-lane reaction. I will be the first to admit that pearl cover stocks are not always my favorite due to the risk of an unpredictable skid-flip reaction that could get me into trouble. The United on the other hand, by wrapping this new pearl cover stock around the Vanquish core allows to me enjoy the benefits of length/down-lane reaction but still provides me with very readable transition and powerful continuation. Of course, I had to punch this piece up with my favorite that I have done with both my Covert Revolt and Vengeance, the pin resting below the bridge (just above the palm of my hand) and the CG kicked out about 45 degrees (remember, I'm left handed!). This drilling does give me the early read that I like but the down-lane reaction this new cover stock provides gives me good energy retention that still allows continuation through pins even if I miss inside slightly. Be warned! Once this ball sees friction, it will grab and grab hard if its drilled this way! There have been times that I have gotten this ball going up the boards a bit too soon on a beat-up house shot... and let's just say the result was not always pleasant. Besides this slight issue, I honestly cannot think of a single complaint about this new piece, The Revolt lineup is alive and well and Here to Stay. So what do ya say... Let's United and Take over!!! Review: The United Revolt is the newest release from MOTIV Bowling Products. This is the first time MOTIV has introduced a pearl version in the revolt line that is great for medium to heavy oil conditions. Once again MOTIV brings the low RG Vanquish core and introduces the new Helix HFP Reactive cover stock. This combo gives the bowlers throwing the United Revolt very good length during transition period on the lanes and provides strong backend motion through the pins on a consistent basic. If you loved the revolt line or any other MOTIV product then you will love the United Revolt. INNER CORE Vanquish COVER STOCK Helix HFP Reactive Finish 5000 Grit LSP Comments: I hope like most I have been waiting for a pearl version in the line and the United Revolt not only filled that void, its performance is almost mind blowing. To me this is a pearl version of the Revolt Vengeance and you ask any one that has been one the best bowling balls I have ever own and the United Revolt give me that something I was missing in my bag. The Untied Revolt provides me the length I was missing with previous revolts and still have the pop in the back end to strike at will. At first, the box finish was a little to shinny for me, but I took a 1000 grit pad and lightly scratched the surface and boy what a huge difference. Lower ball speed players though my want to try box finish at first to make it more controllable and go from there. This is a great piece for fresh conditions and during transition when your angles are becoming too angular and want to calm it down a bit without losing energy through the pins. I recommend this bowling ball for all types of bowlers MOTIV Staff Player, John Robertson www.motivbowling.com

The United Revolt is the perfect fit within the Revolt name. With the help of the Vanquish core, The United has an a similar midlane read as the previous Revolts and now with more backend. While the pearl cover will give the United a touch more length, it has a unique reaction that some will find a wide range of use for it. The United Revolt has quickly become a favorite of mine. For house and sport patterns, it has a ball roll that some will find it to be a benchmark piece for them. The United will be an unbelievable 1-2 punch with any of the other balls in the current lineup. Personally, it is the perfect fit in between my Primal Fear and Chronic Paranoia – especially how quickly it reads the lanes but with a controlled and angular backend shape. Rev Rate: 500 Axis Tilt: 25 Axis Rotation: 45 Ball Speed:17 PAP Measurements: 4 1/8 Core: Vanquish Coverstock: Helix HFP Reactive Finish: 5000 Grit LSP As a huge fan of the Revolt Series I was thrilled to know that we decided to create a pearl version of the greatness that is the Revolt Series, the only thing that looks better than the color scheme of the United Revolt is the ball motion it provides. My first impression of the United Revolt was the opposite of what the original left me with, it provided me with more skid and had a stronger roll down lane into the backends In comparison to the Vengeance the UR isn't angular nor does it snap exiting the pattern, it isn't something I would consider cornering the lanes with as I would the Vengeance as that is what it was made to do. In comparison to the Havoc the UR isn't as big or early upfront as that is where the Havoc displays the majority of its muscle, the UR is longer and the majority of its muscle is displayed down lane. Although the United Revolt does have midlane muscle it is not the extent of what the Havoc provides. The first time I threw the United Revolt the first quality that grabbed me was how much length I got out of it, easily the longest Revolt of the Fantastic Four. The Helix coverstock allows the UR to clear the heads more easily than the covers of the Original, Vengeance, and Havoc. The second quality I noticed about the UR was what it did exiting the pattern, the UR doesn't snap off the pattern as pearls tend to do instead of a snap reaction you will get a continuous roll ball motion. The third quality I admire about the UR is its versatility in terms of cover adjustment as I have used this ball at box and have also gone over it with burgundy/green scotch brite pads, with moderate surface I the UR reminded me of the Original and with heavy surface it reminded me of the Havoc (to a lesser extent) . Both surfaces did provide me with better traction encountering heavier flatter patterns where I needed more end over end roll, where I in most cases I would use my Remix I used my UR achieving desirable results . Adding surface to the UR will roughly make it roll 5-7 boards sooner than at box and will also be accompanied by a stronger midlane roll, being in love with the Havoc I was rather fond of this. On top of the early roll you will still get the backend motion out of the UR, adding surface doesn't diminish its progression down lane. The United Revolt can serve as your benchmark ball (if you don't have one), sitting in between the Fear and Havoc, I also feel that it complements the Chronic Paranoia as well granted that the UR cover is both faster and cleaner overall and has a bigger core. There is nothing like a bowling ball that does as advertised. The United Revolt is everything I imagined it would be, clean and continuous be it at box or with surface the ball did exactly as advertised. Do yourself a favor and pledge your allegiance to the United Revolt of Motiv. Your game will thank you for it. K.C. White II Motiv Staff Mongoose Staff WhyBowl Staff

Layout: 80 x 5 x 70 The revolution continues in bold fashion with the Motiv United Revolt. This is the first pearl shell (Helix HFP, 5000LSP) to be wrapped around the proven Vanquish core (2.47RG, .056Diff) which brings a fresh look to the lineup (not to mention the vibrant color scheme). Throughout the different shots I have thrown this on I see many similarities in ball motion to the previous Revolts of the line, which is a good thing, while also adding its own unique characteristics to bring diversity to the name. Where I see similarities the most are in the midlane and the pin deck. The Vanquish core provides a strong engine to help the ball read the mids well giving traction even in the fresher/heavier conditions. This traction-motion also provides the ball solid continuation through the pin deck, keeping up with the precedent set by its older brothers. Conversely, where I see the new characteristics take over are in the heads and at the breakpoint. The Helix coverstock allows this ball to glide through the heads easily, something my solid Covert had issues with at times, thereby saving more energy for further down lane. Once at the breakpoint there is a strong, but not snappy, motion made. This quicker transition allows the United to be used from deeper angles compared to the rest of the line. I have found that mine works quite well on the fresh (for added teeth on slightly heavier conditions I have used 1500 for the surface) and allows me to continue well into game two before I switch to a great compliment: the Primal Fear. By comparison, the United allows you to cut through the oil with straighter angles which will then open up the lane for the Fear to bounce off of that track further inside. If you need something to clear the heads yet give strong control in the mids and at the breakpoint for heavier shots, the United Revolt is a solid (for a pearl) option. This ball is the newest introduction into the Revolt line of bowling balls. The MOTIV United Revolt features the Helix HFP Reactive coverstock combined with the Vanquish core. It's clean through the front of the lane, reads the mid-lane and makes a strong continuous arching motion through the pins, It's the pearlized ball I've been looking for. It will be a great fit in your bag on medium oil. It's a pearl ball that clears the fronts, yet doesn't miss the mid-lane. It's strong off the spot, but yet not too angular and has the continuation through the pins that MOTIV balls are known for. My United is laid out with the pin above the fingers, just to the right of center, the CG slightly kicked right and has extra hole in my axis. Plain and simple this ball gives me a shape that I haven't seen in a pearlized ball. It gives me an arching and continuous shape you would usually only find in a solid, combined with the clean fronts that pearl balls are known to have. Seems like a GREAT combination to me. This ball is going to get A LOT of play for me on medium oil, on a variety of different shape patterns. Craig Auerbach MOTIV Staff Member Florida

The United Revolt is the first pearl offered by Motiv in the Revolt line. It truly provides impresses performance on medium to heavy oil yet able to provide both length and read of the oil transition incredibly well. The United is able to create this great performance because of the Vanquish core with the new Helix high friction pearl cover stock. This core/cover combination gives this ball the unique ability to get down the lane enough and retain enough energy to creating awesome motion without giving up any of the Revolt's continuation characteristics. You do not have to be afraid to throw this ball away from the pocket due to how the United reads the oil transition and motion it creates on the back part of the lane. A must have ball for all tournament bowlers. MOTIV Staff Steve Haas https://youtu.be/QA0MHkYFBK0

Motiv United Revolt Helix HFP – Pearl Reactive 5000 Grit LSP Symmetric Core - Vanquish Layout 50 x 4-7/8 x 35 Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5 Over 1/2 Up Rev Rate 250. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed 18 Review: The United Revolt features a new cover stock from Motiv. The High friction Pearl (HFP) cover is longer through the front than the Revolt Vengeance and is much more angular and continuous. Sometimes a new cover will dramatically change a ball from a previous release, but I find the United keeps much of the Vengeance characteristics. I did feel the Havoc was much different than any other Revolt due to the early rolling characteristics of the cover stock. The United Revolt to me is a Vengeance with enhancements. This is a great looking ball with a unique color combination that I love. I put white grips and thumb in this Lime/Grey ball and it is super cool! The United is very strong for a pearl, but can be used on a wide range of conditions. I have rolled it on medium- dry and medium-oily and had very good success. This ball is a great choice when the Ghost or Trident is too strong. The United Revolt is one of those balls you can trust to come back when throwing to the outside part of the lane. The new United Revolt box surface could not be better in my opinion for what I bowl on. That being said, I did put some Power Gel Gloss on the United for test purposes and was not disappointed. The United was a bit cleaner and even more angular with the Gloss. Every time I use Motiv Power Gel Gloss I am surprised by the additional snap. The surface is easy to tune and clean. I have always liked the Vanquish core and this is another great core and cover combination. The Vanquish core is strong in the mid lane and helps motion predictability. The pearl cover holds the core off just enough to produce angle creating strong hit with great carry and continuation. The United Revolt rolled well on any type of pattern I tested it on from an oily house shot to a flatter pattern. The United Revolt has definitely found a place in my arsenal! Summary: The United Revolt is a good fit for any style. This ball is strong and angular and hits hard. The surface is easy to clean and maintain. The Pearl cover on the Vanquish core was a great idea. Glenn Wendel PBA Member Motiv Staff Ultimate Staff www.motivbowlng.com Video link: https://youtu.be/A6q6JvAIL-U

United Revolt Just recently I rediscovered my original Motiv Revolt. I had forgotten how good that ball was and was quickly reminded with a 300 in league 2 weeks after the rediscovery. The Revolt havoc (purple ball ) had been good to me too.. (PBA50 – 300 game Canton Ohio ) so when I heard that a new pearl Revolt was on the way I couldn't help but get excited. This ball definitely lives up to the hype and will not disappoint. The amazing color is only one selling point of this monster and oh how it fits within the Revolt family. The pearlized shell provides incredible length not previously seen in the revolt line. Don't count this ball out on the medium to heavy oil patterns as it provides great mid-lane reading capabilities with a stronger than expected back end and continuation. The best part is that this ball provides a consistent reaction and is not over reactive or jumpy when it sees friction. The revolt line is certainly one of my favorites of all time and this one certainly adds to the mystique of the Revolt family. Definitely the big brother to the original revolts and an incredible option on fresh patterns! Come get United and revolt against the pins! Rick Zakrajsek Motiv Staff www.motivbowling.com
