Color: Burgundy Coverstock: Alchemy Urethane Weight Block: Gear V2 Factory Finish: 3000 Grit LSS Flare Potential: Low Radius of Gyration (RG): 2.55 Differential (Diff): 0.020 The Tank Rampage is a strong urethane ball engineered for the modern game. Featuring both a new cover stock and new core specifications, it will dominate on patterns with wet/dry features and also on higher friction surfaces where reactive resin balls are too angular. The new urethane cover stock developed for the Tank Rampage is Alchemy - the new gold standard for urethane performance. Tested and developed by our PBA tour staff, this urethane technology provides a great deal of overall hook, but with that smooth urethane shape. To complement this shape, the solid burgundy urethane shell is tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS finish. To make the Tank Rampage absolutely the best, we not only developed a new cover stock, but we also modified the original Gear core to provide a higher RG and tighter track flare. The new Gear V2 core provides the 15# model with a 2.55 RG and differential of .020. The Tank Rampage is the strongest urethane ball MOTIV has ever released, making it the most versatile Tank in the series. Now bowlers will be able to play more angles and use the Tank Rampage on more conditions.

Love urethane? Or, maybe you don't? It doesn't matter! You MUST have at least 3 of these in your arsenal! In fact, I should have more than that. Whether you are a high-level player or an amateur just starting in the sport of bowling, this is the best urethane ball on the market thus far! The Tank Rampage allows me to play even in burned Long Patterns while keeping a nice and consistently strong and smooth hit. It has a great consistency in short to medium patterns. I will have a stronger reaction than you think, trust me! This was the first Motiv Ball I ever drilled, and man it was perfect timing! Sandro Perrino MOTIV Staff - International

This ball is the newest urethane introduction into the MOTIV line of bowling balls. The MOTIV Tank Rampage features the new Alchemy Urethane cover stock combined with the new Gear V2 core. It's the strongest urethane ball I've ever thrown. It makes a predictable move off the spot and because of the overall strength for a urethane ball it's more versatile on a larger variety of conditions. And most important, it has more continuation than any urethane ball I have ever thrown. It will be a great fit in your bag on light/short oil patterns. My Tank Rampage is laid out with the pin above the ring finger, the cg kicked slightly to the right and has extra hole just below my PAP. The Tank Rampage is NOT like most urethane balls. It read the front, but doesn't seem to burn up. Because of its overall hook potential makes a move and is continuous through the pin deck. This ball is going to get A LOT of play for me on short oil patterns. Craig Auerbach MOTIV Staff Member Florida

The Tank Rampage is unlike any urethane I have thrown. I compared mine to my original Tank. The overall reaction with the Rampage is much stronger. I initially thought the Rampage was going to stop as soon as it got to the dry, but it kept hooking and I was quite shocked. The hitting power through the pins is like any reactive ball. Known to the masses as Ron, the Tank Rampage has a well deserved spot in the bag for majority of patterns in the world. The combination overall is an incredible beast especially for those that prefer to play smaller angles on a lot of patterns. This is an absolute must have in any bowlers arsenal. Matching the right surface on the Rampage with the lanes will make for a blast for the one throwing it. Darryl Carreon MOTIV Staff / Bowlifi / PBA Member

Rev Rate: 500 Axis Tilt: 25 Axis Rotation: 45 Ball Speed:17 PAP Measurements: 4 1/8 Core: Gear V2 Coverstock: Alchemy Urethane Finish: 3000 Grit LSS RG: 2.55 (for 15# ball) Differential: 020 (for 15# ball) The Tank Rampage is the 3rd installment of the Tank series brought to you from that company from Muskegon, Michigan, underneath the new Alchemy coverstock is the all new Gear V2 core and the premise of this ball it to assist you on wet/dry to dry conditions as well as assisting you when your smaller weaponry becomes too angular Using the Rampage for the conditions it is meant for the ball is amazing and to an extent can do a little more than what you believe it can, the Alchemy cover is what truly sets the ball apart from the rest. I got an early and smooth reaction out of the Rampage and what I also found most pleasing is not how much it hooks but more so how it hooks compared to its predecessors. The Rebel Tank is longer down lane and it doesn't have the same hook potential or the shape as the Rampage, The Rampage is rather aggressive in the oil which proves my point about the strength of the coverstock which helps it to create a more distinct mid-lane motion. The Tank Rampage has been nothing short of amazing for me. I consider it be a wise choice for shorter patterns or on patterns where you want to keep the ball in play, I consider this ball to be predictable and reliable when you need consistency when your ball reaction is inconsistent. I have zero worries of leaving flat corners or lack on continuation through the pin deck as the Injector core doesn't disappoint, should your area demo day Motiv weaponry I encourage you go on a Rampage. Your game will thank you for it K.C. White II Motiv Staff Mongoose Tape Staff WhyBowl Staff

Tank Rampage So Im not or have never been a big Urethane guy – guess I just never felt like I had the hand for it or because of my tilt never really had an issue getting most any piece through the fronts so I never really needed it. Well times change and needs and options do as well- so even an old dog learns new tricks. The New Tank Rampage certainly has opened my eyes to new possibilities. Yes, I have shifted slightly to the dark side and have fallen in love with a Urethane ball. Something about this piece is quite different for any other urethane piece I have dabbled with previously. Something quite extraordinary about this one that has made me rethink my ball progression on shorter patterns and the burn, double burn patterns I run into in many PBA50 events. The new core and cover combination has made this one of the strongest if not the strongest urethane balls ever made. The overall hook this ball provides is something not normally seen in a urethane ball but the controllable arc and consistency of this ball reaction is what really makes it stand out. If you encounter higher friction conditions you have to take a hard look at the Tank Rampage. The ability to tighten angles on high friction conditions and the ability to control the pocket is what champions are made of. This ball will give you the confidence to continue to play smart and increase your capabilities when other players continue to move left to chase the oil! Tank Rampage – the NEW URETHANE Monster! Ball Specs: Motiv Tank Rampage Solid Urethane 3000 Grit Sanded Symmetrical Core Layout 55 x 4-1/2 x 50 Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5 Over 3/4 up Rev Rate 250. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed off hand 18 Review: Motiv has introduced a new Urethane Ball to the ever growing urethane niche ball market. As I go to tournaments and coach higher Rev Bowlers I see more and more urethane in the bowler's hands. I also see more Urethane on the Pro Shop Walls. My first takes on the new Tank Rampage were surprising. The Rampage is a good looking ball and should sell well. The Rampage hit harder and drove through the pins better than any other Urethane ball I have used. My carry was surprisingly good although I did not get as much hook as I expected. I was about 3 boards right with my feet from my Freestyle Rush line. I did sand the ball to 2000 and 1000 and the surface changes helped start the ball grab sooner in heavier oil. The Rampage picks up oil, but it seems none gets soaked into the shell. Better have a shammy or towel with you! The Tank Rampage will be a great addition in an arsenal to even out dry conditions or while taming dry lanes. I did notice this ball seems to be low flaring and my track seemed to be closer to my thumb and fingers than on my other equipment. I have drilled a few of this new Tank for higher Rev Players and am very happy with the ball motion I see. Summary: The Rampage has a very predictable motion. The hit and carry are better than expected. The Rampage is a great choice for dry lanes or tough conditions. The Rampage will be a great piece in a tournament arsenal. Layout: 70 x 4 ΒΌ x 60 Urethane is back with a vengeance and MOTIV's latest one lets you go on a Rampage with it! The Alchemy Urethane coverstock (3000 LSS) creates a lot of traction for a urethane shell yet keeps that same smooth, predictable motion that is expected from this technology. To enhance this reaction, the Gear core (2.48RG, .034Diff) has been modified specifically for this ball and now boasts numbers of 2.55RG, .020Diff. These new specs help push the Alchemy cover further down the lane thereby allowing it to retain more energy for its backend motion through to the pit. I drilled the Rampage the same as my Rebel Tank as I wanted a good comparison. The verdict: they are not even close. The Rampage is far and away more aggressive in the oil, helping to create a more pronounced mid-lane motion which helps to read the transition easier. Control is still the name of the game, but the Tank Rampage adds power to that to create a unique reaction within today's urethane game. DESCRIPTION INNER CORE - Gear V2 COVERSTOCK - Alchemy Urethane FINISH - 5500 Grit LSP RG RATING - 2.55 (15 lbs) RG DIFFERENTIAL - 0.20 (15 lbs) FLARE POTENTIAL - 3"+ REACTION The Tank Rampage isn't a typical urethane ball. It has a motion that is rather unique. While traditional urethane reads early and forward, the Rampage reads early but also creates entry angle. On shorter patterns, the Tank Rampage will get a lot of use. VIDEO https://youtu.be/MO1qhnqVgM8 COMPARISONS I compared the Tank Rampage to the Rebel Tank, Freestyle Rush, and as a bonus comparison I threw the Hyper Sniper as well. The layout is 60 x 4.5" x 75. In the video, you can see how they stack up to one another. The Rebel Tank gets further down lane but is weaker and more forward off the sport. It doesn't have the hook potential or the shape drive through the pins from the same line as the Rampage. The Freestyle Rush has more overall hook potential and responds much faster to friction making it significantly more angular. The Hyper Sniper, well, it goes straight. Which is a good thing because that is what it was designed to do. SUMMARY The Tank Rampage has been an eye opener for me. With my "Tweener" rev rate, I have never really had much use for urethane. That is until now. This ball is an excellent choice for shorter patterns or when you are just trying to keep the ball in play. It is very predictable which is a must on fresh sport patterns. The Rampage gets through the pins well enough to where I am not worrying or expecting to leave flat corners. That has always been a problem that has plagued me when throwing urethane. I know bowlers are leery about urethane even with the resurgence of seeing the pros use it on the telecasts. When a Motiv Test Drive comes to your area, make sure the Tank Rampage is on the list so you can try it out for yourself. I am certain it will open your eyes like it did mine. The Tank Rampage is a strong urethane ball made for the modern game. The Alchemy urethane overstock with the original Gear core gives this ball a higher RG rating and tighter track flare. This allows you to play more angles especially when you face wet/dry patterns, see lots of friction or just want to see that smooth urethane shape. Don't be afraid to add surface to this ball to get the Tank Rampage to react sooner to get the shape you are looking for in tournaments or league play. This ball will be a must for tournament bowlers, light oil/high friction patterns and high rev players. Get one in your bag today!!! The Freestyle Rush is a light oil pearl which has the ability to create good angle and great continuation for a light oil ball. I feel putting your favorite strong drilling on this ball is the way to go. The Agility light friction reactive coverstock with the Recon core allows this ball to retain more energy in those high friction environments but still deliver a stronger response downlane to carry those conner pins. This ball is made for those times where the lanes have lots of friction but you have to throw it away from the head pin to create enough angle and carry. If you bowl in leagues or tournaments with lots of friction this is your ball. This is another great release and fits on MOTIV's ball chart perfectly. Pick up one today! Review: The new Tank Rampage is the strongest urethane to come from MOTIV to date. Brand new core and cover combo makes the Tank Rampage most hooking urethane on the market while still giving that smooth down lane shape you see when throwing urethane. With the new Alchemy cover stock and modifying the Gear V2 core with a higher RG, the Tank Rampage is the perfect ball for bowlers when lanes have too much friction and resin balls become too much for you and will help you get through wet/dry on the lanes. IF you have been looking for the perfect urethane bowling ball then get the best, the Tank Rampage. INNER CORE Gear V2 COVER STOCK Alchemy Urethane FINISH 3000 Grit LSS Comments: The Tank Rampage is by far the best performing modern urethane I have ever seen. For urethane, this ball flat out hooks, something you don't see much coming from urethane, yet is still very controllable in high friction. And this ball hits like a tank, no pun intended, just destroys pins. If you're looking for something that will eliminate wet/dry for you and if your home house becomes high friction a lot and resign becomes too much all the time then the Tank Rampage is the perfect fit for your game. High rev players will love this piece because you can have something in your bag that you can square up on high friction conditions without losing performance. Medium to lower rev players will love the Tank Rampage because you can stay where your playing on the lane with lanes break down and still have the confidence to score. I recommend this piece for all types of bowlers MOTIV Staff Player, John Robertson www.motivbowling.com

Bob Benton Maryland Motiv Tank Rampage ( http://www.motivbowling.com/products/balls/tank-rampage.html) 70 x 5 x 35 (500 Abralon) Personal Stats: 400-450 RPM 18-20 MPH PAP - 5 5/8" over, 1" up Axis Tilt - Estimated 8-12 Degrees Current League Average: 238 Intended Use: Urethane! My goal with the Tank Rampage was to add that distinctly urethane shape to my arsenal for shorter and lighter volume patterns. Reaction: The Tank Rampage hooks as much, if not more, than any TRUE Urethane I've ever thrown. Unlike other attempts to merge reactive and urethane, the Tank Rampage still retains that distint early motion. Great for shutting down the angles and using that hook in the front part of the lane. Overall: Perfect fit. If you've thrown the Rebel Tank, expect 3-5 more board of hook than you are used to out of Urethane. Bowlers have already gotten the opportunity to see this piece in action on a number of PBA telecasts and I know I will be using it every opportunity I get on shorter patterns!
