The Jackal™ Rising is an obvious choice for speed dominant bowlers who are looking for maximum hook potential. Bowlers competing on high volume oil patterns will want the Jackal Rising in their bag. And, because of the smooth motion that this ball delivers, it is also a great option for blending over/under situations. The new Coercion HV2 (High Volume 2nd Edition) cover creates more friction and has been tuned for the Jackal Rising with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to maximize hook potential. This new cover not only creates traction in the oil, but finishes with impressive power. With more differential, this asymmetric beast will help every bowler cross more boards on heavy oil conditions.

PAP: 4 1/4 over, 1 up Ball Speed: 16 -17 mph Rev Rate: 400 - 425 I drilled my Jackal Rising 70 x 3 3/8 x 20 with an X-hole 3 inches down from my PAP. The Jackal Rising is the most versatile high performance ball I have had in my hands in a long time. I have used it on patterns ranging in length from 36 to 47 feet, with various volumes and ratios. I have not found a pattern that this ball doesn't give me a good look on the fresh. I trust this ball in my hands anywhere from the twig to 5th arrow to go through the pin correctly to strike. The rising is about 2 to 3 feet earlier at reading the patterns than the previous ghost. It has more of an arc shape where the ghosts were slightly angular for me. This provides more overall hook potential as you don't have to worry about the ball over-reading the friction as much as with the ghost when you need to open up your angles in the front of the lane. I also think that is what leads to this ball being more versatile than its predecessor. Like the ghost it takes well to surface changes. I find that keeping it at the 2000 box finish provides the most versatility. Steve Dieter Motiv Staff

55x5x35. Rev Rate – 425 Ball Speed – 17 mph (down-lane) PAP – 3 ½ over, ¾ up Right-handed. The Jackal Rising is a beast. I compared my Jackal Rising to my Jackal Ghost which had a similar layout. I immediately noticed how much earlier the Rising was versus the Ghost. Not only did it begin to shape earlier, but it has a little more backend than the Ghost. For a ball of this strength, there is no energy lost going through the pins. This Jackal Rising flat out hooks. Along with the Jackal Ghost, this is a mean one-two combination. Especially for those that encounter longer and/or heavier oil patterns, the Jackal Rising is an absolute must-have. For other times when lanes get tighter in the midlane and/or downlane, the Jackal Rising's strong performance will show. Darryl Carreon MOTIV Staff / PBA Member

RG: 2.47 Factory Finish: 2000 Grit LSS Finish Coverstock: Coercion HV2 Core: Predator V3 Differential: 0.055 Flare Potential: 7"+ Mass Bias Diff: 0.019 Core Type: Asymmetric The Jackal Rising is the latest solid out of Muskegon, Michigan wrapped in the Coercion HV2 coverstock and a stronger asymmetric Predator V3 core, the increase in asymmetry and a smoother cover makes it ideal weaponry for heavy patterns and wet/dry conditions. The Rising does offer a strong quantity of strength in the mid lane accompanied by a predictable ball motion down lane, make no mistake about it the Rising is very strong out of box so I would keep in mind how you intend to lay it out. A valuable quality about the Rising is that it blends the pattern well which makes it easy to read even in cases where I got it to the friction too early the ball motion was never unpredictable. Because the Rising is rather smooth it allows me to keep my angles closed and play further right longer than I would with that of the SS, and as the lanes open up it doesn't disappoint in cornering. Comparisons In comparing the Jackal Rising to the Jackal Ghost in terms of hook the Rising is stronger whereas the Ghost is cleaner overall and responds quicker when it encounters friction, overall the Rising is the bigger ball between the two. Although the Forza SS has a comparable ball motion to the Rising it isn't stronger than the Rising overall as it covers less boards and is smoother overall down lane, I consider the SS to be an excellent step down from the Rising should it become too big for the desired pattern. The Jackal line continues to become stronger and stronger with each addition, currently the leader of the pack is the Jackal Rising. I can close my angles and play straighter on heavier patterns and successfully blend out wet/dry patterns with minimal issue. As a fan of the Revolt Havoc loving the Rising was second nature as the ball motion was similar in a sense of continuous roll, the difference being that the Havoc wasn't as reasonable cornering the lane unlike the Rising. If you liked the Jackal Ghost I consider the Jackal Rising worthy of your time. Rise up and take what is yours. Your game will thank you for it. K.C. Motiv Jackal Rising HFS – High Volume Solid 2000 Grit LSS Asymmetric Core Layout 35 x 5-1/4 x 30 Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 4-3/4 Over 1/4 Up Rev Rate 250. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed off hand 18 Review: The new Motiv Jackal Rising is the most aggressive ball in the Motiv line. As much as I like the Ghost, the Rising is all that and more. The way the ball handles oil and covers boards is very impressive. My teammates say the Rising makes a low rev player like me look like I have a lot of hand. The Jackal Rising gives me much more confidence when I hit heavy oil. When you trust a ball to come back it is easy to make a good shot. I have tested this ball on a variety of conditions and if there is oil you will not be disappointed. One thing I noticed is how this ball seems to stand up and drive through the pins. The carry of the Rising is very good for an early rolling ball. I have a lower rev rate and high ball speed and the shot we did the video on was a heavy oiled, modified house pattern. The Rising had early read but saved energy for an angular back end. I know this ball designed to be smooth but I have 3 now, and they all finish with a nice backend move. The hit and carry is better than my Ghost and that is not an easy task to achieve. I have polished this ball and it tunes easily, but the customer I polished it for is from another center so I did not see it roll. I did sand down a Rising for one of my better bowlers and we saw an earlier red, 3-4 more boards overall and no loss of carry. Motiv has a hit with this upgraded cover. If you are looking for a heavy oil ball or bowl on thick sport conditions the Jackal Rising is a must have. The Rising is my best selling ball by far right now in the shop. Summary: The Rising Combines a new super strong cover with a strong core for max hook. This ball is a must have for oil. The Rising starts early but retains energy for plenty of hit. If you like to swing the ball or bowl on a flood this is your ball. Glenn Wendel PBA Member Motiv Staff www.motivbowlng.com video link: https://youtu.be/hBw2x2Mtb_8Ball Specs:

Personally, I believe this ball is a full step up from the Ghost in strength. This ball should honestly be through the roof of the ball chart with how much it hooks. In my ball motion video, moving off of the line where I threw my Rising, I had to move 5 boards right (as a righty) just to find the pocket with the Ghost, and another 4 right just to carry. The first night I threw the Rising in league, I struck EVERY shot on the left lane. The right lane broke down faster, and I was able to ball down to my Ghost in an extremely confident manner, being that I knew it was a little bit cleaner, and few boards weaker. The Ghost and the Rising are a great one-two punch, and I find myself able to throw the Quest along the a similar line after around 4 or 5 games without any difficulty. I've thrown this ball on high volume house shots, tougher medium tournament conditions and flooded tournament conditions and I firmly believe that there is no other ball on the planet better suited to do the job. It controls the backend like nothing I've ever thrown, all while chewing through the oil on its way to the pocket. To put it simply, this ball fits perfectly in the line, giving me another option for heavy oil when I really need something with teeth but still want to control the back end of the lane. If you don't have one, you're definitely missing out!

When the nature of competition continues to become much fiercer and is in a constant state of change, what must a dominate predator do to maintain its dominate? What must a predator to ensure that it does not become the prey? The Predator must change, it must evolve, it must RISE! The dominance seen from the Jackal Ghost cannot go unmentioned, the Ghost revived the Jackal line! With respect to the Ghost, MOTIV knew that to ensure the Jackal maintained its dominance on the lane, some fresh blood was needed. Enter the Jackal Rising, evolution of the monster that is the Jackal line! The Jackal Rising presents us with new versions of both the Coercion cover stock in the Coercion HV2 cover and a revamped Predator V3 core. This revamped combination gives those who possess this piece maximum hook, power and continuation on the heaviest of oil patterns. The beauty of all this power in just one piece is the fact that it allows us to really blend out patterns to avoid those lovely water/dry conditions. I find it difficult to come up with the correct words to best describe how sick the Jackal Rising is on the lanes. The best thing I can offer is a story of a competition I was recently in that the Rising bailed me out of some serious trouble. In the qualifying round of the tournament, all through practice I found a shot that allowed me to keep it simple, up the outside part of the lane with the Forza SS. I felt that if I could play there and stay left (left handed mind you) for the majority of the tournament, I could run away with it. The light came on for scoring and... well after multiple pocket corners and a pocket 7-10 to start the day off with a 185 in a scoring pace of 220s+... that game plan was scrapped. The next game, I decided move everything 5 boards left and took the Jackal Rising out of the bag and quickly unloaded back to back 270s to throw myself right in the top 3 of the tournament and continue from there. The Rising allowed me to open up the lane and generate some angle to snap out the corners. The combo of the aggressive cover stock and core allowed me to give the pocket away and have confidence in the decision with the raw power and continuation it offered. Even on shots that I put a little too much muscle into the shot due being slightly amped up, this piece still contained enough punch from the cover stock and weight block to still have the strength to not only to make the return but still the continuation to carry! Layout: 55x5x35 With this ball having the ability to carve through oil I wanted this ball to roll early and have a quick response. This ball allows me to play very angular when facing heavy oil. Being a speed dominate player(20.4mph) this ball never stops its motion and with the Predator V3 core I know this ball has the continuous motion to punish the pocket. What I really like about the Coercion HV@ Reactive Cover and core combination is how it can deal with the over under conditions when the oil pushes down. It's a TRUE FINISHER!!! Highly Recommend!!

Layout: 75 x 5 ½ x 35 What was once a Ghost is now Rising to the living. The Jackal Rising is the next evolution of the Jackal line. The new Coercion HV2 coverstock (finished at 2000LSS) is more controlled off of the downlane spot than the Ghost which is created by its sharper teeth; this allows it to grip the midlane sooner. The Predator V3 core (2.47RG, .055Diff) has more intermediate differential than the Predator V2; this makes the ball rev up even more, creating more flare and more motion potential. Boasting these two new innovations, this ball is meant to tackle the heaviest of oil conditions. Out of the box mine showed how early it could hook yet it still did not lose the line-characteristic of superior drive through the pins. I saw early read in the mids, a controlled motion at the breakpoint, and devastating motion into the pit. For my typical house shot it was a bit strong so I polished it up while leaving the grit untouched. This gave me a bit more length through the heads yet retained a similar overall motion. Even with the slightly increased breakpoint angle due to the retained energy I never felt like the Rising was going to do anything unpredictable. For me this ball is best utilized early where there is plenty of oil and my angles are straighter. Once I start opening up the transition to the Trident Quest is almost seamless. If a heavy oil buster is what you need, the Rising is a great option. Trent Overbey In the Zone Pro Shop MOTIV Staff www.motivbowling.com

This ball is the newest introduction into the Jackal line of bowling balls. The MOTIV Jackal Rising features the new Coercion HV2 coverstock combined with the Predator V3 core. It's strong in the front of the lane, but yet smooth enough through it that the ball does not burn up. It reads the mid lane for change of direction and retains enough energy for great continuation through the pins. It will be a great fit in your bag on medium to heavy oil. I have the used Rising on everything from high to medium volume sports patterns, as well as on your typical house shots. It's strong and continuous enough to handle the sports patterns and blends out the house patterns like nothing I've ever thrown. My Jackal Rising is laid out pin up above my ringer finger, CG slightly shifted right and extra hole down. Since this ball's release it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. This ball is so SMOOTH that it allows me to keep my angles closed and play up the lane. As the lanes open up its not afraid to come around the corner. Another winning BIG ball in the MOTIV LINE.
