The 2Cruel™ has a mean backend reaction that inflicts serious damage in heavy oil. The new Sinister™ asymmetric core has a higher RG to provide length, and differentials that produce strong track flare. This weapon is then armored with a new Whiplash™ Hybrid Reactive cover to generate a backend reaction that is absolutely devastating. The average league bowler will totally dominate a fresh house shot using the 2Cruel . Tournament bowlers will see how truly special this ball is on heavy oil shots. In the 2nd and 3rd game, when the heads get beat up and oil moves down the lane, the 2Cruel will be very clean and then unleash devastating power on the backend. “I’ve never had a look this good on the shark pattern before” - Dick Allen - PBA® Tour & MOTIV Pro Staff

Bowler Stats-Ball Speed 17.5 MPH Rev Rate-App 325 Right Handed PAP-4.75 over, 0 up The Motiv 2Cruel is designed for heavy oil patterns according to Motv. The ball is as advertised and more for me. I used a 60 x 5.25 x 30 layout. The pin is just above my middle finger. It pushes through the heads on fresh shots, revs up in the mid lanes and makes a strong, nearly snappy move when it sees friction. Due to the fact that I am somewhat ‘speed dominant’, I was able to shine up the cover and use it on drier conditions without too much issue. If you use this ball as designed, that is on heavy or long oil patterns, it will be a very effective ball. To throw it on a burnt conditions will require a healthy polish and probably some extra speed. With the 2Cruel Motiv has a piece of equipment to give that Asymmetrical move at the breakpoint. The Neomark Graphic makes the ball very pleasing to the eye when rolling down the lane Video coming soon. ? Alan Grobmeier Motiv Regional Staff Member www.motivbowling.com

2 Cruel Review INNER CORE: SINISTER COVERSTOCK: WHIPLASH FINISH: 4000 ABRALON The 2Cruel has a mean backend reaction that inflicts serious damage in heavy oil. The new Sinister asymmetric core has a higher RG to provide length, and differentials that produce strong track flare. This weapon is then armored with a new Whiplash Hybrid Reactive cover to generate a backend reaction that is absolutely devastating. REVIEW: I have been able to throw the MOTIV 2 Cruel on a variety of lane conditions including house shots, WTBA Paris 47Ft (Low Volume), WTBA Tokyo 43ft, and PBA Shark 44ft. You normally don’t think of having a lot of backend reaction higher volume or wet conditions, but the 2 Cruel delivers just THAT! I am extremely impressed with the angles I am able to play on longer and higher volume patterns. I have opened several eyes of peers when they see me hooking the ball back from spots the pattern normally does not allow. Having that extra backend has also help increase my carry on these longer patterns, those flat tens are now being chopped in half! This new 2 Cruel is also a monster on typical house shots as well! The 4000 grit box finish allows for easy length throw the heads which allows this ball to be thrown on a lot of different conditions. This ball is simply a hook monster on the backend without sacrificing midlane control. If MOTIV has not won you over yet, then this one will do that for sure! One of the best balls I have thrown thus far. Bobby G Middleton Jr MOTIV Staff Member www.motivbowling.com

2 Cruel is the perfect name for the new ball by MOTIV. I have been waiting for a stronger piece of equipment by this brand and finally it has arrived. The 2 Cruel is designed for heavier oil patterns and it still has enough energy stored to give me the strong back end reaction. You will not believe how well this ball reads the lane. It has a 2.55 RG, Diff .53, Core – Sinister, Cover- Whiplash Hybrid Reactive and the box surface is 4000. The MOTIV brand is already pretty strong when it hits the pins, so you will not be disappointed in that area with this new ball pulling out all the punches. I can’t wait to drill up my next one with a more control layout for tougher sport conditions. If you’re looking for a Great high performance ball, look no further and add this vital piece into your bag. Stay Motivated, Cory Willis Motiv & Vise Staff www.motivbowling.com

Overall, the newly designed whiplash hybrid coverstock is incredible in oil! The 4000 grit out of box finish does tend to polish up a little quickly but takes well to surface adjustments in order to change the shape you are looking for. The modified sinister core from the original cruel is much more angular and stronger through the pins than that of the original. The high RG and high Diff combination in the 2 cruel creates a downlane reaction that I have not seen in our lineup yet and shows that there will be plenty to look forward to in the near future! Be sure to go out and get your 2 cruel now if you struggle to get the ball to finish on longer and heavier oil patterns! MOTIVated Staff Member Nick Pahr

Review: The 2Cruel is the latest high performance ball from Motiv Bowling. What can I say about this ball other than awesome. What I like about the 2Cruel is that reads the lanes well on the fresh and take off like a rocket at the break point in the dry. High rev guy would actually love this ball because they could use this ball on the fresh of a typical house shot, then as the 2nd and 3rd games comes, they can move in and the 2Cruel gets clean through the heads and still has the energy to knock down all 10 pins. For the non high rev guys, this ball would be perfect for you because of how clean the ball goes through the heads. The new 2Curel is recommend fro heavier oil patterns, yet this bowl will be a nice addition to your bag on any given league night. With the new Sinister asymmetric core has a higher RG to provide length and the Whiplash Hybrid Reactive coverstock, the new 2Cruel by motiv will dominate the fresh shot in league and in tournaments on heavier oil. INNER CORE: Sinister™ COVERSTOCK: Whiplash™ Hybrid Reactive FINISH: 4000 Grit Sanded 15# SPECS: RG: 2.55, DIFF: .053, MB DIFF: .018 Comments: After drilling the 2Cruel, I touched the surface with 2 minutes of 4000 polish and ball exceeded my expectations. I felt that on the fresh if gave me a nice look and being a high rev player, I felt that I could use this in league and start on a good note after the 1st game. I notice that as the heads started to get beat up, I moved in and I was amazed on how clean the 2Cruel when through the heads and still had good pop on the backend to kick out the ten pin. Likes: Clean down the lane and through the heads; Backend pop; Crushing power hitting the pocket. Dislikes: None I recommend the 2 Cruel for all bowlers and styles. John Robertson Motiv Staff Member

Bowler Stats-Ball Speed 15.5 MPH Rev Rate-App 280 Axis of Rotation-30 to 60 degrees Axis Tilt 9 degrees Right Handed PAP-5 over, 1/4" up The Motiv 2Cruel is designed for heavy oil patterns according to Motv. The ball is as advertised and more for me. It pushes through the heads on fresh shots, revs up in the mid lanes and make a strong, nearly snappy move when it encounters the end of the pattern. In addition, the core/cover combo allows me to move deeper and coontinue to use the 2Cruel much later in a shift then I have been able to with my previous heavy oil balls. Because of it's ability to wait to rev in the midlanes, I am able to use the ball playing inside as well as up the boards. Compared to the original Cruel, the Whiplash Hybrid Cover gets down the lane farther before making it's move. This accounts for the versatility of the ball in my mind. I am able up the boards, or swing it out to the dry until their is no longer enough head oil to get it down the lane. For me this, along with the Simga series, are the most versatile of the Motiv line. I believe I could use this ball on Medium lanes and with the correct drilling I may even be able oil much drier conitions. I think it will be a great match up for me early in long format tournaments, league nights and on longer patterns. The 2Cruel lets me know when to put it away as it will start leaving weak 10's and 7's on hits that look good. If you use this ball as designed, that is on heavy or long oil patterns, it will be a very effective ball. To throw it on a burnt conditions will require a healthy polish and a longer drill pattern at the minimum. With the 2Cruel Motiv has a piece of equipment to give that Asymmetrical move at the breakpoint and the explosive hit of the pins as the original Cruel did. I'm very colorblind but the Neomark Graphic makes the ball very pleasing to the eye and give it good shelf appeal, though I have heard a number of comments about the pink in the ball :-). This ball is one of the if not the best ball on the market right now. You can use it when there is shape, you can use it when they are flat. This ball wants to strike. You can use any combination of surface/layouts you like on this ball. It will react to anything you wanna do if you need it to slow down surface will do that and opposite goes for polish! Also I have been able to get a big difference in reaction with layouts, you can drill 2 or 3 of these with stronger to weaker lay outs and use them all day! This is a must have in every bowling bag!

The 2Cruel definitely gives you a stronger more aggressive backend reaction than anything else currently in MOTIV’s lineup for heavy oil. I know I’m redundant in saying this but it’s the truth in my honest opinion: MOTIV has the best ball motion from their high end ball to entry level ball than any other company I have ever thrown equipment for. INNER CORE: Sinister™ COVERSTOCK: Whiplash™ Hybrid Reactive FINISH: 4000 Grit Sanded 15# SPECS: RG: 2.55, DIFF: .053, MB DIFF: .018 The all new Motiv 2 Cruel is our strongest ball to date! The most impressive thing about this ball to me is that it one, is an entirely new shape to Motiv Bowling, but also, it is a high end ball that actually retains and stores it's energy when moving left which in todays high performance balls is VERY rare. Where the Raptor P7 burns up, this ball NEVER fights it and climbs the hill very well and corners from extreme angles better than anything else in the product line. The new Sinister core(an updated/modified original cruel core) is very VERY strong but with this all new Whiplash Hybrid shell it doesn't have any problem retaining its energy and making a strong motion down lane. This is TRULY a new generation of Motiv Bowling! For me on the THS this ball allows me to get left of everyone and lets me throw it to what all of the other bowlers are creating thus giving me an immense amount of back end! On longer patterns is where I see this ball the most. I am able to throw it a little farther away from it than I can with past products thus relaxing the swing and throwing a lot more strikes. The other cool thing with this product is I can stay with it longer than I could my Raptor P7 or original cruel because the ball doesn't go away as I chase it left,it still has plenty to make the turn and I'm able to get much more use out of it which is always a bonus! I would recommend this ball to ANYONE looking for something that flat out hooks! This ball is arguably the strongest ball i've thrown in recent memory and I have been nothing but impressed with this product! Another winner from Motiv Bowling! Ball Specs: Motiv 2 Cruel Hybrid Reactive 4000 Wet Sand Asymmetrical Core Layout 55x4x40 No Extra Hole Required Bowler Specs: Right Hand. PAP 5 Over 3/4 Up Rev Rate 275. Tilt 20. Rotation 50. Speed off hand 18 Review: Motiv has something special here! This ball reads the midlane great, and has a fantastic move to the pocket at the break point with awesome hit. The 2 Cruel hooks more than my Raptor P7, even though the P7 is drilled stronger and has a lower grit finish. The 2 Cruel plays well on inside, outside lines and carrydown. I tested this ball on a Fresh House shot that was on the wet side. The ball was very strong and I had plenty of area. For a lower rev player I was impressed with what the ball did for me. Even when I moved deeper I still slapped the 10 out. We did the video with the box 4000 finish but the next day sanded the ball to 2000 and got a lot more hook. I did notice some shiny "flakes" in the coverstock (for more RA?) and a almost minty, or cleaner like smell to the ball which is unlike any Motiv ball I have drilled before. I do think however, most people will stay with the box finish. Summary: Strong ball with great backend and hit. Excellent carry from different angles. Good POP on back even cutting through carrydown. This ball is truely something different and special from Motiv. I will get at least one more for my arsenal. Anyone who wants to destroy an oily house shot or flatter pattern should try this ball! If this is your first Motiv, it will not be your last! 2CRUEL— Rg - 2.55 Diff - .53 Core - Sinister Cover - Whiplash Hybrid Reactive Box Surface - 4000 Ive been waiting for that one strong piece, that one piece that gave me the advantage ( for a tweener) on the heavy oil patterns. That sought after reaction off the back end even when the friction area was small. This piece it THAT ball. I was so ready for something that gave me the reaction I desperately needed on the heavy oil that when I heard this ball was coming I couldn’t wait to get it in my hands. Needless to say I wasn’t disappointed in the least. This ball reads the oil like a champ and reacts incredibly strong off the back of the pattern. It’s very strong and like everything in the Motiv line STRONG through the pins. The hitting power of this ball is incredible and the predictability off the spot makes this ball my go to out of the bag Game 1. I drill 2 pieces with my favorite layouts one pin up and one pin down…for me in most cases the pin down drillings perform the best. In this case both layout performed well as the pin down allowed me to get in a zone left deeper than I have been able to play to date while the pin up version was longer but stronger off the friction. The combination of these to layouts gives me a ton of flexibility as the lanes transition and keeps me in my comfort zone for maximum games! If you are looking for that new high end piece to add to your arsenal or if you are new to MOTIV don’t be afraid of this one! You will not be disappointed! Give it a try---GET MOTIVATED! MOTIV saved the best for last with their final launch before next season! The 2 Cruel brings a new Asymmetrical Hybrid to the High Performance line. With the new Sinister core and new Whiplash coverstock combination, this ball creates some SERIOUS downlane motion. The box finish (4000 sanded) is strong midlane, but where the 2 Cruel stands out is at the backend. The response at the breakpoint was faster than any high performance/heavy oil ball I have ever seen. After testing the 2 Cruel with the out of box finish I then hit it with 2000 Abralon. It started sooner as expected, but still created a fast response at the breakpoint and overall making the ball much stronger. Comparing the 2 Cruel to the Raptor Attack (Both with box surfaces), the 2 Cruel is not as long and has much more backend potential. You can see my video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwZPnv6Zj-0&feature=plcp Overall, this release allows me to play deeper lines and create more entry angle than I would with other high performance/heavy oil balls. Since the box surface is a matte finish, the 2 Cruel also has the option to be even longer and stronger by polishing or sanding it with a lower grit for even more overall hook! My 2 Cruel is drilled 55 x 4 x 30. I layed this one out to complement my favorite Raptor P7 which is drilled 60 x 3 x 20 with a P1 hole (3/4 bit, 2.5" deep) The 2 Cruel easily glides another couple of feet and reads the mid lane at a little later point. As a result of retaining more energy the 2 Cruel is going to come out of the pattern with an angular motion. If you own a Primal Impulse and just need something that is a little bit stronger for the fresh, then this would be a great addition to your arsenal. The core numbers are very similar (2.55 vs. 2.60 P.I.) The 2 Cruel is excellent for longer oil patterns and/or broken down patterns where the bowler has to move deep inside and trust that his/her equipment will make that strong move down lane. It is certainly a unique reaction to the MOTIV line up and fills a gap.

Motiv has done it again. With a brand new coverstock in the whiplash hybrid reactive and the brand new sinister core this ball gives MOTIVnation and all bowlers alike a look they have never seen before. With an rg of 2.55 and a differential of .53 it gives you the ability to move left after the lanes transition and remain confident that its going to make it back and strike every single time. However just because its a "clean flippy" type ball dont for a second think that it cant handle high volumes of oil. I dare you to put your favorite fresh oil layout on it, hit it with a 1000 abralon pad and watch it go to work. Once the lanes transition switch to your box finish pin up and you have the best 1-2 punch in the biz. Come on out to your local pro shop and get MOTIVated! This just might be the best bowling ball that I have ever thrown. It is EXTREMELY strong and holds nothing back when it drives through the pins. It glides through the heads and is very smooth off the break point. PREDICTABLE PREDICTABLE PREDICTABLE!!! While it is very strong, it is not very jumpy. When it gets to the friction, you know exactly what it is going to do. The 2 Cruel is phenomenal at storing it's energy as it goes through the heads then it becomes a head-turner through the pin deck. People tend to look over and wonder what that explosion was. The new MOTIV 2Cruel is the new Heavy Oil Asymmetric glides through the heads easily, gains traction in the mid-lane, then finishes super aggressively. Where this ball shines is the easy back end that it gives me. But this is not a skid-flip ball – with the mid-lane traction, I really have confidence that I won’t over shoot the break point. This allows me to stay aggressive with my ball speed, which is a bonus when playing high volume patterns. On a typical house shot – this ball is… well, really fun to throw. Super fun. You really get the feeling that you have unlimited room right. In a sport shot tournament situation, the 2Cruel is ideal 2 or 3 games into a block on heavy oil when carry down makes the lanes tight down lane. And I can stay with this ball a lot longer than you typically can with other strong equipment, because of how easy the ball gets through the heads. Here is a video of me rolling the 2Cruel on the Main Street Pattern which is the house shot that my bowling center puts down. The second part of the video, I roll all 12 of the current balls in the MOTIV line-up back to back, so you can see how each ball fits into the arsenal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNmEoNB8i2g The 2Cruel stores energy extremely well. But it’s the way that the energy is unleashed is what makes this ball special. It seems to gain momentum as it heads down the lane, but still keeps the pins low as it heads through the deck. --Kevin Gallagher— PBA Member MOTIV Staff
