This ball does what it should, hook and flip into the pins without any deflection. It carries most of my lite hits and leaves a thundering echo on solid ones. I had three 16lb balls drilled up for tournament use one SHOCK & AWE, one EBONITE BIG TIME, and one SEEK & DESTROY. I'm most impressed so far with the EBONITE BIG TIME AND SHOCK & AWE. I threw the SHOCK & AWE last night for league, bowled a 777 with it. (240, 269, 268) All three of the balls were drilled for max hook, and this ball out hooked both the particle balls. The coloration on this ball and spin is almost mesmerizing. I prefer to play the "stroker" style which allows me to play straighter and be to be more accurate. Im very satisfied that I purchased this product from ebay and will continue to look for more of these balls at great prices.

I threw a couple of frames with my brothers shock and awe. it wasnt quite what i thought it was. it was extremely speed sensitive and it left a bunch of 10 pins. i gave up on it after burying 5 shots that left me looking at 5 10 pins in a row. didnt quite match up to my "The One". also the ball dies pretty fast. it died on my brother. he tried reviving it by leaving it in the sun to remove oil, it worked for about 20 more games then it died again. I am glad i bought The One instead of this ball.

Morich Shock & Awe Layed out by Mo Pinel, 4 1/2 by 3 - foward roll and early revs. Bowled on wood lanes and overall hook was high. Consistanly finds the pocket without over reacting. Able to play inside and find good angels to the pocket. On synthetics, still make strong move to the pocket and had a consistant roll and awesome carry, splitting the 8-9. With the core, the ball has a strong move to the pocket and the foward roll drilling make this ball very predictable. Shock and Awe is a great ball for most conditions, definantly a keeper. Vanguard core adds a lot of strength to the activator+ coverstock.

this was a fantastic ball , shot 4 straight 700 s out of box. after 50 or so games it just quit hooking . i thought the house was just flooding the lanes, after switching to another ball realized my ball was dead. which was my 2nd shock and awe.i had my pro shop guy try to revive it , but only worked 3 more games. this ball was taken care of , so it wasnt a lack of maintence. also had 3 track balls do the same thing.my 4 year old balls work like new,and 1 storm with 100 games still like new. makes me nervous buying new balls to last 6 weeks.<sc

My specs for this drilling are in my first review of the ball but since that review I have had S&A polished to about 1200 and it is now a league oil killing machine. I use this ball alot in league. it clears heads easy and revs up hard, when the oil ends the ball takes off and destroys everything light hits, heavy hits, in the middle hits it doens't matter the pins are utterly pulverised by this ball. just have to make sure there is enough oil on the lane or I have to get deep if it is in the dry to early it still reacts but now with the same kind punch that it does when you keep it in oil and swing it out. For tournements I get the ball to a 800 finish the ball goes down the lane in the same manner but revs up alot faster generating quicker change in dierection than in a polsihed form. The ball is pearlized but it still hooks well in the oil not great like TS&A or WMB but good the cover is strong enough to get through even sport patterns if I thow a errant shot inside. A great bowling

This ball is amazing, I picked it up to be a niche ball and am now using it as my primary read ball. It's so versatile. I can play inside and keep it tight or I can swing the lane with it. I am yet to find a place this ball will not hook back from. I am also yet to see this ball lose it's power, even if I tugged one to far into the oil rather than leaving a flat 10 it would send the 6 into the 10 with authroity. No bowling ball I have ever owned has had this kind of authority and I buy between 6-8 per year while bowling in 3 leagues and hitting all the local tournaments including some PTQ's.<s

As of now, my entire bag is full with Morich balls...that's right they're all morich. The way all these balls hit are unparallel to anything else on the market. The shock and awe has a nice reactive coverstock enabling it to go down long on the lane and still recover when you need it to. I do recommend this specifically to people with a higher rev rate...this ball needs to be thrown. As long as you throw the ball and not whimp out on it the shock and awe will do its duty. Overall what I'm most impressed by is the pin reaction I get with it. Sometimes hitting light is the better way to go, due to how much drive this ball has. My only dislike is that the ball can sometimes have too much drive and leave lots of 9-pins. Yea, it's not so much the tens but the nines and four pins. However, the ball is still spectacular and is a must have for anyone looking for this type of coverstock in their lineup. Also, don't be fooled by what they website said the ball is conditioned for. I throw it

I like how this ball rolls and snaps on the backend it is not out of control backend like I have seen on my friends Fired Up but it is a nice strong turn to face the pins. The ball hits like a maniac it just destroys everything in its path and that is good for me and bad for my competition. Specs: pin is between and directly above my middle and ring fingers mass bias is out about 1 and 1/2 inches it was way to strong out of the box so I polished and it seemed to mellow it down enough that I could use it on a league pattern but I might polish it a little more because its still a little shakey when oil begins to break down. All together once I learn this a little more about this ball it will replace my tired Hercules as my starting ball in league!

I love this ball it carries like a truck. it rolls like a dream and can be used on a selection of lanes conditions hard and also house shot. i loved this ball from the first game i bowled with it. it hooks smoth and when it finds the pockuet it kills the pins. this ball would suit any type of bowler. It also looks great to. this ball also gives you alot of room if you make a slight error it is very forgiving. All i can say i would advise any person to get this ball it is very good

When the ball gets to the pocket there is pin action all over. The only trouble i am having is getting the ball to the pocket but everytime i do its a strike. If the ball goes high into the pocket i seem to leave the 4 pin, a solid 4 pin. I've left the 10 pin only a couple times so i dont worry about that too much. This was my first time with MoRich and now i know what company to choose from now. The first two series was a 644 and 645 and thats not that bad for trying to find where to throw the ball.

I have had this ball for a while now and it has out performed all balls before it on medium oil w/carry down! My ball is drilled fingers over the pin with the MB in the Low Track Sharp Break Point position! Last night, I shot my highest series in 3 years with it on (10/07/2005 = 802) and tied the house record for our league! This is also a fantastic Tournament ball when playing up the outside boards with a Tilted hand position! One word of warning, don't let this ball get fried on the cover (lack of Polish) or it will Burn-up & roll out (For us Low tracker's that is)! BOOM, it happened again one week later with the same ball, On 10/14/2005, I beat my previous 802 with an 804 which is now the high set for the year, I also bowled a 299 with this ball as well, Damn what a ball! I love this ball so much that I have just ordered another one to be drilled for broken heads and squirly carry down situations, I'll report the Progress on that Shock & Awe!

One of the best balls to date for morich in my opinion. thought that I'd never find a ball that I liked more than my Onslaught. But now that I've thrown it on a league shot i see nothing but good things from it and high scores. First night shot 177 switched in game from TA to S&A then finished with 233 and 254 for a 664. With most that night bearly breaking 550's need less to say the ball left them in shock&awe. Just hope next week everyone don't have one, might then have to get the TS&A just to stay ahead.

Ball Specs: 15lbs 3ozs, 3.2 ozs top weight, 1" pin. Custom MoRich layout, Pin 1/2" below the ring finger w/ the CG directly to the left of the pin, MB 3-4" to the right and slightly below my thumb hole. This is my first MoRich ball (and definately not my last) and upfront I want to thank Mike Luongo of Mikes Custom Bowling in Middletown, NY for laying out and drilling this beast for me. I was looking for a new ball to be my main ball for my upcoming fall/winter leagues and Mike suggested the S&A in factory/box condition. Oh baby, was he right; this ball fits in perfectly between my Phenom Unleashed and my V2 Clean. I have thrown it twice now on different conditions and I am amazed at the performance. I threw it on a fresh house pattern a few days ago and was able to strike at will. I tried different lines and the most consistent one seemed to be standing on 25 and throwing over the third arrow swinging it out to about the 6-8 board, the ball is very clean through the heads, rea

This ball is an animal. I have never thrown Morich before, but man am I "shocked". Compared to the Absolute inferno which is almost the same ball, this ball rolls up so heavy and hard once you hit the pocket it will strike. I had 3 messengers in a row take out the 10 pin from across the lane. The ball revs up quick also but yet maintains control and a VERY sharp arc on the backend that is controllable. Its not really a skid flip ball the layout I have. Its all for heavy roll and hook. Pin right below the middle finger, extra weight hole also close to my thumb. I definitely recommend Morich. If you want a heard heavy hitting ball , get this you won't be disapponted. I shot 256, 255, 245, 220 the first night of using it in my scratch league. Tital 0f 976 for 4 games, amazing ball!

When the ball gets to the pocket, The pins go down and they go down hard. This ball has a Nasty Backend move to the Pocket. I also have a WMB and I'm finding that I have a lot more control with this bowled. My last time out with this ball I bowled a 195, 254 and 244. It can move a little too much on dry lane conditions but I can still make minor adjustments with this ball so that it is not a big issue. This ball is good for at least a 10 pin average improvement for me. <s

I have read that you need to be careful who drills this ball for you. Since MoRich cores a different than most others on the market. I had this ball drilled pin under ring finger, 3 and 3/8 from my pap with the CG kicked out. This ball does not skid flip like my Backyard Bully did, It rolls long and just snaps like hell on the backend. It seems to prefer more oil than I though it would. I tend to practice during the middle of the day, and most of the houses I bowl in are pretty oily and this ball seems to work well.

I shot outstanding with this ball out of the box. First game 233, 225, and 200. It is drilled with the pin 3 3/8 inch from my PAP. Ths ball finishes strong from anywhere on the lane and hits the pocket hard. I would reccomend this ball to anyone that is looking for a new high performance bowling ball. This is my first Morich ball but I am very happy with its over all performance in all conditions. I use to throw columbia but I have swithced to over to Morich and I am glad I made the change.

My pro shop guy told me this ball is the WMB core with an extra flip disc in the bottom of the ball, combined with Brunswicks Activator+ coverstock. I have only 3 games on this ball, but i can tell it is a winner. The ball goes long and makes an awesome turn on the backend.I had it set up for the most aggressive lay out.The snap is not a violent as I thought it was going to be, but rolls to the pocket very clean. The ball seems very versitile for any type of bowler.I only left 2 ten pins in 3 games. I have shelved all my other equipment in favor of this ball.

i drilled it with a basic label twist drilling, nothing fancy, i have anough hand to anything back fine, the ball is very arcing..` i drilled where the track is over the mass bias, i did that because i had a similar drilling on the Gauntlet which was all even quadrants of the weight block, this ball isnt..so it cut the thumb a lil bit overall an awesokme ball, seems to react very well and compliments the other morich equipment quite well..plays many shots well a little spotty on sport, but nice on fresh oil, very forgiving in the pocket<scri

My average before i got this ball was around the 185 mark....so when i got this ball, i was hoping for a few more pins. Well, i took this ball right off the pro shop's drilling machine onto the lanes, and shot a 214 my first game, i also shot 210, 225, and 240 over a six game run. This ball is very consistant, actually carries (i completly missed the head pin on 1 of my shots, and it shot pins all over the deck until there were none left!) This ball will also take care of high flush no problem, unlike the WMB, in which case i could guarentee a soild 4. Hopefully, this ball does't fall apart like my WMB did.

This ball really opens up the lane for me, big time! I was using a Centaur AMB as my swing ball before, but the Shock & Awe puts it to shame! It easily covers at least 10 more boards with no hint of "roll out". I drilled it with the pin 3 3/8 and the MB strong. I am continually amazed at how far left I can get and bring the ball back and STRIKE! I have used many of the older Morich balls with success, but this one is on a whole different scale. I can't wait to try it at the ABC Nationals! GREAT BALL from MORICH!
