I drilled this one up with the pin 4 1/2 inches from my PAP and the Mass Bias is 5 3/8 inches from my PAP. The Pin is above my VAL 2 inches. I laid this ball for Skid/Flip. I threw the ball on a fresh oil house shot. I was able to throw the ball on a straight target line down the lane to about 40 feet and then ball would make a strong arcing motion to the pocket. I was able to move outside and play the straight up the lane with good punch to the pocket. The Mo Rich Pioneer would be a great ball for drier lane condition for faster ball speeds. If you have lower ball speed, you should be able to use the ball on Medium Oil Lane Conditions. If you have any questions, please email me at Bill@BuddiesProShop.com Thanks, Bill BuddiesProShop.com "The Place All Bowlers Shop" 1-866-884-9355

this is one of the best balls for your money. i switched from a revmaster to this and it reacted a lot better. this ball is a monster when thrown correctly. if you dont throw the ball correctly then it will be one of the worst balls out. either you like the ball or you dont. for hi revers this is a good ball to look in to. this ball is the best switch i have made. polished the ball will not move but with a little sanding it hooks just the right amount. i stand 35 and shoot between three and four arrow. it drifts out to about 2 or 3 board and smacks the pocket.

With the correct drilling I have a new respect for this ball. It goes long and has a nice smooth controlled arc at the pocket. My first drilling had this ball 3 3/8 X 5. I now have it drilled 4X4 stacked, and I have been very pleased with it. The ball goes much longer and has a more controlled backend reaction. The strength of this ball is its continuation through the pin deck . It also works well on my sport shot league where I have to play it straighter. I think this is a excellent ball for all types of playing styles. It will definately find a way in your arsenal. I only warn that you make sure your driller is knowledgable about Mass Bias equipment. Mo's stuff doesn't rely on CG, but MB drillings.

My Pioneer is 16#. 0.75 Oz of top weight left after drilling. !/8 oz finger weight and no side weight. Pin 4 inches from pap with the mass bias just left of the thumbhole(righty). I had bought the ball to be my dry lane ball as it has a high RG and a pearl coverstock. I gave it a fairly weak drilling. Took it out to the lanes and rolled the ball. Brooklyn. Moved a few boards left. Still high. Moved a few more boards left. 8 strikes in a row. This ball hooks hard and controllably once it hits dry. Carry is just silly good. I've not tried this ball on the dry lanes I bought it for as it is just too strong. On medium to medium wet this ball rocks. This is a great everyday ball. Don't get too aggressive with the drillings or you will have a ball for a flood. Don't be fooled by this balls specs. It is only a couple of noches below the strongest balls out there. Although the Pioneer doesn't fill the need I bought it for, it works so well it has pushed another ball out of my bag. Tru

The ball hits ball hits hard and very forgiving when missing your mark, plenty of room to play this ball. Definately an area ball and is like a missle on the lanes. You can't go wrong with this ball for the price. I bought mine off a friend with his drill set up, he is a high track and I am normal. I threw his ball with his set up first game i had to find out what the ball required. I only threw a 139, but second game i threw a 229 and after that a 240,235,228 and so on. Ball is great for a more straight shot bowler I seem to have nothing but good things to say about this ball. Well worth every dollar, ecspecially when you pay $40 for it.

This is my first MoRich purchase. I have tried other MoRich stuff and not been particularly impressed. O.K., now I'm impressed. This is a smooth, strong ball. It gets through fresh or broken down heads very well, revs up, reads the midlane and moves in a clean, clear, hard arc with a consistent and clear breakpoint. I heard it was supposed to be almost overly strong on the backend -- it has plenty of backend, but it is not overstrong or jumpy. In fact, it is surprisingly smooth. I tried a drill with the mass bias in the track and pin just above the ring -- worked like a charm. The roll is very hard and very consistent, even with carrydown. The hit, well, it sure knocks down 10 pins. Some problem with 4s and 9s, even a pocket 7-9, but all in all, very good, very strong -- and forgiving both left and right. For the money, well, it may well be as good as the Hex.....wow.

This is Mo Rich's best ball for the general player. The coverstock looks like the old Blue Hammer with an excellent "flip core" block. I have drilled for both strokers and high rev players. Used the manufacturer settings which mapped to the 1/16 of an inch. This is a great piece of engineering, and the price was $97 before drilling. If you are looking for a good "medium ball" for your bag, you cannot beat this ball. Unless you get creative. Drill the suggested settings and you will get great read-a-bility. What do you want with weaker balls? I look for control for my customers, and this is it! Note: November 1st. Drilled my first "heavy roll" setting for a customer who throws a full roller....Shoots 725 first three games out. No matter what setting you choose for this ball...It can't be beat for the price.
