Got ball drilled on May 31, 2007 by Mike Miller at Ten Pins and More in Rio Rancho, NM. Before drilling ball was 15lbs. 4oz. with 3.25 oz of TW and a 3.5" Pin. Ball was drilled with the Pin right of the ring finger with the CG kicked out right with a weight hole. Ball is an absolute monster and it's alot more aggressive on the backend on my typical house pattern(38" buffed to 45" synthetic using CONTROL oil)then I was expecting, it really digs in and transitions hard into the pocket. In it's current condition (OOB-Sheen)it is currently about 5 boards stronger than my Legends - Black Pearl(OOB-3.0" pin above and right of ring finger with a similar lay-out). I don't know what else to say about the Legends/Lanemasters line of balls, other than the pin reaction is much livelier and messengers come from all over the place. There is nothing else out there that even compares to these balls. Excellent ball from Legends/Lanemasters! Here are a couple of actual pictures: http://img.photob

This ball matches up well with my game and is my go to ball when the heads are fresh. It grabs out of the oil almost instantly which makes it perfect for reading lanes. Carry is better than average and the sound is destinctive on flush shots - pins explode! Probably grips too well for a cranker but strokers will love the move to the hole. Head oil is a must and longer patterns are where it stars. It has average length and hold but big pop on the backend. Tweeners will probably need to keep it 20 to 10 on the house shot as it turns too quickly off the dry. If you have too much hand, I'd stay away from this one. If you're a stroker looking for more hook, this ball should meet your needs.

I got this ball a couple of weeks ago and have played in 2 tournements and made the finals in both of them. Works great on dry and oily but best on oily. I don't now ow it's driiled I just tell them what i want and they do it. Please I got this ball for only 50 dollars from legends cause I told them i wasn't happy with a couple of other balls. They have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. m m m m mm m m m m mm m mm mm mm m mm m mm<s

Very consistant ball. I haven't had any over/under with it. House shots are way to easy to use this ball. Tourney shots, I have to play around with it. It rolls very well and still reacts on fresh oil patterns. Overall, very very pleased. Hopefully, it will work at USBC Nationals at the beginning of April. I get a great read when soft with the hand. I wasn't ready for the length that I get. I really like the reaction and recovery it has. I also love the way it keeps pins low for better carry. Pretty much, if I leave anything on the deck, it was a flush tap.

I usually get a new ball every two months or so, and I wanted to try something new. I heard all the hype about legends bowling balls, so I decided to give it a shot. I have a pretty high ball speed(16-17) mph, and I bowl very similar to Mika Koivunemi. (I loft the ball a little bit). I have to say I was very disapointed at first, because the ball just went down to far down the lane and hit really weak because lost of energy. At first I thought maybe the ball needed more oil. WRONG! I bowled on a 45 foot sport shot on this ball didnt move. I found this ball is best on light oil conditions, or medium oil if you have slower ball speed.

I wanted to try out 135 degree layout and descided this was the perfect candidate after researching ball and talking with Coach Borden at this years Bowl Expo. Several people in the area are using the New Standard (original) and having great success with that versitale peice. This one is very similar. I love to use it when I encounter a severe wet-dry condition or streaky shots. Layout allows me to square out and virtually eliminate over-under as ball sets up early and make very smooth transition to pocket. If you are looking for a versitale particle ball this is the one. Diamonds are forever!!

This is an amazingly designed ball by Fred Borden and his staff. The only ball to be made completely of coverstock and core. No other pieces in this ball. 11lbs of cover and 5 lbs of core. No filler!!!!!!!!!! This ball hits like a tank and just drives the pocket. I just kind of wish the prices were a tad cheaper. I can't wait to see the other 20 or so balls that Fred has coming onto the market soon. The ball comes with a ball cup, polish, cleaner, 2 scotch brite pads, and a sling. What other companies do that?
