my cherry bomb has been my most depemdable ball since i have been bowling. this ball is such a good ball that only those who own one know what i am talking about. this ball is lane#1's brainchild and i think tha tit is also their best ball ever. (i have owned a dirty bomb, hybrid dirty bomb, tsunami, the uraniums, and i own a super carbide bomb.) i still own the carbide but i got rid of everyting else within 3 months of buying them. they do not do have of hwat you see on their videos or what they are advertised to do. only the cherrybomb does . so have a blast and buy one if you can even find one.

anihaltes the pins when it gets to the pocket shot my first 300 with ball if you can find one go buy one.Drilling: pin in the middle of the fingers get up a half and inch with a 3 inch pin top weight 3.5. GREAT BALL!!! if i could find another one i would so if anyone has one they dont want email me and we'll talk but on house shots very good because i keep it at 400 sanded because i dont need a dry lane ball but if it was polished it could be a good dry lane ball but its not just the ball its the company lane#1 makes quality products and pin destroyers they may be expensive but when u need to get up and throw all 3 in the tenth to win this is the ball your gonna want to throw.

22 of 25 speaks for itself. My first set was 690 with a whole slew of 9's and 7's. Great ball. Will be in the A bag for a while!!! Another great ball from the guys at lane 1. This ball hits as well as any buzzsaw and far better than any other ball on the market. Trouble in the hang spot will happen to any ball but a small adjustment in hand position cured it easily. Versatile ball plays well on anything but a flood. I could just keep moving left and it still turns the corner without rolling out or leaving flat 10's. A little spendy like all lane 1 but if you haven't thrown one you can't complain. If you will spend $200+ on anything else than you should give a buzzsaw a try. What a toy. This ball is amazing.

oh man do i love this ball i've got two of them one used one drilled new. im reviewing on the used one this time the other reviews were for my new one. well this ball goes 50 ft. when polished. i love bowling balls that go long and then make a big move at the end. and they sort of hit harder than balls that recover early. my personal best so far with my polished CB is 295 reason being i threw it up straight up 2nd arrow and the ball didnt recover it just went 60ft. and left the 1-3-6-5-7. damn... tough luck .

dang... this ball is crazy once 800 grit sanded. i couldnt control it even on a 43ft sports condition. the carry got stronger after i sanded it. I've never heard a bowling ball hit like wat i heard. it sounded like trees falling in the forest when they fall down. shoot this ball freakin scared me when it hit. I just gotta get more lane#1 equipment im most likely ganna get a BCB cause i've tried my cousins BCB and it grads the lane better. I just dont understand why people give the BCB a bad review.I've tried alot of lane#1 balls i prefer to use the BOMB line which have a core of mass destruction!

i like the ball and i think that lane#1 should go down on the prices so that other people can see what an awsome ball it is. also the ball is defently not for begginers, the only way i was able to controll it is Henry Morales (future pba bowler) has been working with me and teaching me. so i do recomend the ball if you have the money and somewhat know what you are doing. i recomend that if you do get one drill it at a 4by layout and you will see what an amazing ball it can be

well I had this ball drilled for a medium to heavy condition and it did wat it was drilled for! I started out a little jittery with it but in the second game of the tournament i shot a 247 then on the 3rd i wanted to win that title so much that i wanted to scare the competition, so i decided to throw straight up 3rd arrow and rev it up like MAD and it hit so hard that 2 pins came flying out of the pin deck area. and in that game i shot a 254,and on the 4th and final game i shot an ok 234. After a couple of months of use the balls hook just died down. it seemed strange because i clean this ball after 10 games use. I asked my proshop pro wats happening to the ball and he says that the balls drilling was too aggresive for it so it died down.<s

This ball simply gets results - period. I used many top of the line balls during this past year and all had weekness. All, except the Cherry Bomb. It can handle the oil, it can handle the dry and no matter the condition it doesn't lose its' pop at the pins. The Cherry Bomb doesn't take a backseat to any ball when it comes to carry. Light, high, mishits and still all ten go down. Somehow seems impervious to carry down as it always finishes strong and never sails through the break point or "scoots". The carry alone that this ball generates will improve your score - add the consistency it provides and everybody will be asking you what you are throwing. Don't let the polished finish fool you as this ball can handle the oil. Some balls are great for certain conditions - the Cherry Bomb can handle them all. Dry lanes? Move way left and send it right and it will come back and come back with authority. Wet lanes? Tighten up your shot and still see that "snap" as ten go into the pi

Wow... wow... wow... The greatest aspect of this ball is just how hard it hits. It really sends pins flying all over the place. Messengers left and right and right and left and so and so forth. It goes down the lane, finds the back end, turns, and the pins don't stand a fighting chance. I almost felt bad about using this ball because I thought it gave me an unfair advantage between my speed and revs and this hitting power. You need head oil for this ball because it would be a shame for any of its energy to get used in the middle or start of the lane... it should all be saved for the last 10 feet where it can do more damage than any ball on the market.... this ball is a bomb! After throwing 16lbs my whole life I took a friends advice and went to 15lbs with this ball. This ball makes bowling look easy. I threw it out between 5 and 10 and after some nice carry this bomb cuts back hard and rips through the pocket. This ball knocks the living snot out of the pins, I've never had any action like this from a ball. A little bit of a steep price tag here but well worth the extra $30 or so as opposed to going with a freak or inferno. Have not gotten a 10 pin with this yet so I would plan on keeping an extra ball around for those.

I love using this ball It is so hard not to use it I can use it for most of my first shots but when the lanes are dry I have to remember to put it away I have other equipment for when the lanes dry out. I have not found any oily conditions that I was not able to get this ball to hook. I like the sharp turn that it makes down the lane. I knew that I would like this ball. This is my first experience with a Buzzsaw. I will probably buy another Buzzsaw in the future. I like the core design I think that it is what makes these balls unique.<scr

The Carbide/R cherry bomb. The last I needed was to punch out another ball but after finding a cherry bomb in my desired weight and pin location I gave in ! This particular bomb came with a 4 inch pin, 3 oz of top weight and 14.4 before drilling. Understanding the aggressive nature of the carbide resin coverstock, and strong core I employed a very weak drilling as well as shortening my span about ¼ inch to a very relaxed fit. The pin, and cg are both kicked out one inch from the grip center, the pin is just shy one inch above my ring finger, and the cg is just about dead nuts on the mid-plane. This set up would usually qualify as aggressive or early rolling but I dropped a huge axis hole below the mid-plane measuring 1 3/8 wide, and 2 ¼ deep removing all thumb weight, and left myself with ¼ positive side weight. What I ended up with was a ball that rolls very long, does not hook up early, or hook a lot until the very end, and when it turns it turns hard just completely d

What a great and fantastic ball. Highly recommend it to anyone. You will thank me after you count your winnings. Lane 1 products are not available in the Philippines. Thanks to my auntie was able to avail one. First time i used it, felt in love with it. Only 5 of us have it here. I would recommend it to use on medium oily to oily conditions. It just wont cut it would amount of oil and tens to hook more if the oil is super dry. Pilipinos should be aware that Lane 1 is a good manufacturer of bowling balls.

When the conditions are "middle of the road", you won't find a better ball. Very exciting ball to throw. Different drillings will likely overcome the very oily conditions. No chance on dry. Did I say "Hit"? I was always able to kick out six pins or messenger sevens but this ball is ridculous in its carry. Has a radical right turn at the backend after holding the line much longer than my track mutant. I stll learning what I can and can't get away with this wild and wooly ball. Drilled long and late, 5.5" pin stacked past the fingers. I haven't forward to bowling with a specific ball like this in a long time. Doesn't like condition extremes. Too much oil and my break point is 20' past the deck. My lefthanded partner in crime enjoyed that condition, however, and his ball was drill with cg kicked out and 3" pin out. On a four game scratch league I had a great line 12 to 5 until that fourth game. I should've put it back in the bag but played around with deep inside. The bal

I think this is one of the best balls I´ve ever own, shot my first 300 and two 700 (709 and 722) series one week after I bought it. The Hit is great, even on soft shots, but predictability is the greatest value on this ball. This is the best Lane #1ball I have owned, I have the Super Carbide Bomb which is a great ball but I can only use it on HEAVY oil conditions (rarely on the two bowling centers in my city) and the XL which I only use when the lanes are very dry (because of the drilling pattern) With the right adjusments you can throw this ball on every surface and still have a great performance Can´t wait to try the Black Cherry Bomb

Over this ball is pretty nice. For me this all just doesnt hit like im use to a bomb doing for me. Nice ball for when the lanes are fresh not when the oil starts breaking down. You need to watch yoour speed on this sucker, and you need to be pretty accurate inorder to get a nice flush pocket hit. Must know when to put it away. it will over hook on you if you try it on carried down oil. I gave this ball an 8 cause its pretty good, i like it and i also shot an 800 series with it 809 to be exact lol. my first of my career. Good luck guys with this ball, its nice just not what im into.

This is one of the best looking balls I have ever had. The way it will skid and then snaps is hard to beleive. It hits so hard some times there is that 8 pin stareing at you. If you have never tried a Buzzsaw this one is great. It may be a little pricey but it is worth the price. The Cherry Bomb is by far my favorite Buzzsaw. The Blueberry is the next ball I go to. I can't wait fot the NEW Cherry Bomb Solid to come out. I would also like to thank David Schoen {drillwizard or kidace1} for the excellent job he did for me on the lat out and drilling of this ball.

I bought this ball just because my buddy Ron who owns a proshop in the area recommended it. It's not really the type of ball that I'm used to as most of my other balls are particle balls with a smoother arc shape to them. The first time I threw this ball I stood on the 10 and threw in between the 1st and 2nd arrows. At first I thought it was going to end up in the hole leaving the 1-2-4-10. Instead it snapped so hard it hit brooklyn and left me an easy single pin spare. Needless to say an adjustment was nessesary. I found the best way to throw this ball is to stand between the 1 and five board and use the third arrow as a mark. The ball usually swings out to about the 5 and comes back with avengence to wipe out the pins.

The Cherry Bomb. I have this ball drilled "cg out". This drill seems to even out the skid/snap into a nice smooth transition to the pocket. I find the ball works best on fresh medium oil conditions. The ball isn't really made for heavy oil, but you can play a decent down-and-in shot with it. The ball hits great taking the pins out with ease. 60% of my games so far(I've had it for 2 months), are over 200. So, basically the ball is a nice ball for medium/possibly heavy oil. If you want hit, and a nice move to the pocket, get the Cherry Bomb. Take Care.

I just found out that it cleared PBA and that is great. I have also heard that Lane 1 uses alot of the brunswickk cover stocks, But this one is unique. They have the most aggressive Flip blocks on the market in my opinion. Very consistent reading ball. Don't play with the surface of the ball and don't let anyone roll your Cherry Bomb but you. Cross tracking will kill the read. Great ball, but is Quite pricy $$$. Get one and you will be very happy. Try it's partner the Super Carbide bomb on your most oily conditions and the Blueberry Buzzsaw on the dryer conditions. Quite an arsenal...

Overall a great ball worth every penny. I give this one a 10-10 because I can count on this ball turning left and saving my unconsistant butt. I don't leave very many corners with this one. Seems to die in the very heavy oil, and I think that is where the Super Carbide Bomb will come into play. I'm looking forward to some more time with the Cherry bomb and really see what she can do. Seems to really come alive after about 15 games of total use as the track gets worn in. Worth every penny that I spent on it! Get one if you can afford it.!

This is an incredibly versatile ball, as long as you have some head oil. If you have that, you're good to go on just about any condition. For me, it seems to almost ignore wet carrydown. The first shot I used it on, I watched as it started revving, and thought wow, it's going to be in the gutter, and then it held, held, held some more, and then made a nice arcing snap into the pocket. Not quite what I was expecting, but I still liked the reaction. Wore a track into it a game later, and the reaction became sharper and more defined. Great length and nice power and snap through the pins. Then I threw my Raging Red Fuze. Sucker barely wrinkled. Jaw dropping surprise, it WAS my ball with the biggest move on the backend. Moved to a condition with better backends, I could have LIVED on that pair. Reaction was BEAUTIFUL, even after impressed I was on the first pair that was wet with pretty heavy carrydown, especially for the house. As well, this house has typically soft and early b
