I picked this used Buzzsaw up for one reason and that was to blend out some over under issues on a wet/dry. Since the C separated mini nugget core was a nice heavy roller I thought that would work. My Blue Solid is 16 pounds with a 3-4" pin out distance, and it's drilled with the pin next to ring finger and the CG at the 3:00 position. I used this ball on two different oil patterns bowling on synthetic lanes. The first one was 40ft walled out 10-10 zero buff in the backends, wet/dry horizontally as well as vertically. This Buzzsaw struggled to make it back to the pocket in and out of the oil. Standing slide foot on 25 sending it out to 10 at the breakpoint, I hardly hit the pocket in practice. When league finally started and I did hit the pocket the ball just didn't carry for squat. So I put it away... I recently used this ball in a tournament where they double oiled the heads to last for 18 games. The result was playing straight up five and arching smoothly and gentyl

This was my first experience with a Buzzsaw, the only reason was I got a great deal on one of these very high priced balls. Well I used this ball on several differnent lane conditions and surfaces, The biggest thing I saw was that this ball is very touchy, to the point of being squirty. On a fresh shot it worked well but once you get carrydown it wanted to skip and do all kinds of weird reactions on the backend. I much prefer a ball that isn't so finicky and that is much more forgiving. This ball isn't that.

Bought this ball new in 2001. Drilled for a medium late hook. On medium oil, this ball turns wildly and very late. If I miss my mark by as much as 2 boards left (holding down the right side) I'll hook to the 7 pin!! On dry lanes, I have to go cross lane (making my shot unpredictable), or put the ball back in the locker. Takes more shots than normal to find my spot and mark from night-to-night. Ball is very sensative to lane conditions and a lane that's conditioned unevenly spells trouble. If I see any of these for sale used for the right price, I'll take them and experiment with re-drilling. This ball is a challenge, but fun to roll. When I'm hitting the pocket, I generally don't have to worry about the ten pin!

This is one of the most versatile balls money can buy. Great for all kinds of bowlers, with or without a lot of hand. Great arcing motion in the heads and pines with a nice move to the pocket. I use it on many different conditions from med oil to bone dry. On heavier oil it tends to scream, but I rarely encounter that kind of condition in my league. I'm thinking about scuffing the surface a liitle to see if it helps in overall hook. Nice Job, Lane #1. Too bad they don't make these anymore. Anyopne want to sell me one? :)

Well i drilled this ball pretty strong, pin about 1 o'clock over the ring finger, no finger inserts, thumb solid, 9/10 oz. side weight. This ball has been plugged 3 times and redrilled 4, one thumb plug has a small crack from where someone who cant plug, plugged it. I put 1/8 reverse one my finger holes, which is quiet a change from 1/8 forward. This ball cuts through the oil and rolls up strong...i threw this ball for the first time on a house shot for about 35 mins...after that i moved to a gold strike league pattern..this week just happened to be oiled down 48 ft. even middle, with an out-of-bounds of about 10 brds on either side. this ball slid through the front and swung when it hit the back...awesome ball.

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BUZZSAW OF ALL TIME.IF THIS ISN'T A BENCHMARK BALL I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS. NICE EVEN ROLL AND A FIRM BACKEND.THIS IS THE BALL I GRAB WHEN I'M LOST. IT MAY NOT BE THE BEST CHOICE, BUT I KNOW I CAN GET IT THERE.IT IS BEST SUITED FOR OIL ON THE HEAVY SIDE BUT REALLY MINE WORKS ANYTIME.MINE IS LEVERAGE DRILLED AND CAN COVER SOME BOARDS IF U WANT IT TOO. OR U CAN COVER VERY FEW BOARDS. EITHER WAY IT CAN RIP THE POCKET.AND U GUESSED IT, THIS ONE HAS THAT CRUSHING LANE #1 HIT.
