I was looking for dry lane ball that was not very "flippy" and found it. Going on recommendations of the lane #1 rep. i drilled this up 4 3/4 inches from my PAP offset CG three inches to right of midplane and drilled a balance on my axis back to legality. ( needed to remove excess top wieght, just picky) Orginally i left it polished and had some success but still wanted just a couple of more boards of finish. So i sanded the cover down to 1000 abralon and then just perfect. When everyone else was swinging the ball coast to coast i was able to relax and stroke the ball straight down 7 board to pocket. The carry was better than average especailly the light hits. (light carrying house) This is definately a worthy ball for anyone that needs the control and less hook of a plastic but still wants the power of a performance ball when it hits. if being used as a strike ball stripping the polish and adding alittle surface will correct most complaints of not enough finish. I bought the ball 4 moths ago hoping it would give me some relief in the last game of a 4 game league, The first night I tried it I thought it was great. Every time since is wont finish at all and when it does get back I am more likely to leave a week 8-10 than I am striking. I use it for the 10 pen and that is it. 130 bucks is what I paid for it. I would get as much good out of a $50 white dot. Unless you throw turtle speed I don’t recommend this ball at all.

I bowled in the WV state tournament. There was a light shot and a guy from Morgantown was using one of these. It appeared to be stacked with an x on the PAP. He was a slower tweener. about 15-16mph. I couldn't get over how well this thing moved . Super clean with unbelievable backend and power coming from a plastic ball and a buzzsaw core. I'm now doing some strong consideration about trying out Lane 1 equipment. This ball has a good price tag and obviously performs well. I noticed there was no review and I got to watch a pretty good bowler use one for 3 games. Just wanted to let you know that the core technology alone Lane 1 is using is impressive.
