I wish I got one of these brand new. I picked this one up used, had about 30 games on it. Plug & redrill, the ball is a beauty. I altered the surface(grey scotch brite), and it's a great ball for your typical league night. I haven't tested it on a tougher shot yet, but I imagine I won't be disappointed. I'm surprised at how well this ball reads the midlane, usually pearl balls can be squirty on the fresh. It's becoming my favorite ball real fast, and it's discontinued. I think it's better than the Black Widow pearl.

well, overall its a great ball and its a ball i hope to create a great rep with no matter who and when i play... you might want to have a bit of control on yor ball as well b/c it has great reaction no matter what the lane condition is... and i'm disappointed this ball got discontinued as well... and now i can't believe i don't have enough words . i thought i had babbled enough... well, overall its a great ball and its a ball i hope to create a great rep with no matter who and when i play... you might want to have a bit of control on yor ball as well b/c it has great reaction no matter what the lane condition is... and i'm disappointed this ball got discontinued as well... and now i can't believe i don't have enough words . i thought i had babbled enough...

I have this ball set up to get into its roll early. I either power it through the break point or it checks up early and goes through the nose on me. I haven't polished it yet because I'm keeping it as a heavy oil ball and have other equipment to use when I'm struggling to get this one through the heads. The ball considerably less back end than I was expecting too. That may ne because of the drilling too. I would probably be satisfied with this ball with a different drilling. I may yet find a pattern I like it on also. I can see it performing well on a heavy sport pattern.

I got this ball for free NIB when I was on vacation at a buddies. Pin is above bridge cg kicked about 1- 1.5 inches out. Rolls very well with good amount of backend. Shot 745 first set out on a shot I probably wouldnt have used it. So that bodes well. I got this ball for free NIB when I was on vacation at a buddies. Hard hit! The best pincarry i`ve ever seen. Great colour. Great length and strong backend reaction! Sometimes it is difficult to get the higher revs with it. But it is not an dislike. Sometimes i have problems with my release! The pinaction is so great, it carries some things i`ve never seen carried before. Light pockets or full pockets, every time the road hawg smashed all ten down. Nothing hits like a hammer!!! It is my second Hammer bowlingball after buying the Big Deal first. Now i think i will change my equipment complete from Brunswick to Hammer. Great products and support!! Thanks to Hammerbowling from Germany!!

i drilled this up with the pin 3-3/8in from my pap, 1.5 in from my val. cg stacked. final ball stats were 1oz side and difference of 3/8 oz thumb wieght. Brian Graham recommended this ball to me as a heavy oil ball and slighly less aggresive then my morich seek and destroy. i found out that the two balls drilled roughly the same are almost equal in reaction and overall hook. The hammer carrying much better than the S & D. The Road really opened the lanes up for me in oil. i was able to both go around the oil and in the oil on a heavy oil condition. The Road Hawg just kept coming back. inside the oil i was playing 15 board to about 10 and having an amazing backend reaction on the dry deck right to pocket. going around the oil i was playing 10 board out to 3 and still witnessing a great backend hook to pocket. sofar i have used this ball for 12 games shooting 684-686-760-721. i would recommend this ball to anyone looking for a big backend ball for a heavy to medium oiled conditions. it

This is the first Hammer ball I've ever thrown. I pretty much stick to Brunswick or Ebonite because I've liked all the balls they've produced, but I must say that I'm impressed with this ball. I normally stand around 25 or 30 and like to swing it. But my proshop guy told me this ball would HOOK, so I moved to around 35. I through my first ball and got it out to about the 7th board and it went long. I though for sure I would leave a washout. Then all of a sudden, this ball went crazy and darted right through the nose. I was dumbfounded. I have thrown Lane #1 stuff drilled to go long and hook hard, but I have never seen this. I moved 4 right and firmed up my speed and this ball was absolutely amazing at destroying the pocket. My first set shot with it was 203, 209, 279. I think I may have to look at some more balls from the Hawg series.<scr

Overall I will say that this ball is okay. I feel as though unless you have to have this ball then grab it but otherwise you can get a smiliar reaction with the Doom. On a basic house shot, I had to play up the boards, and as the games progressed, I then could open up the lane a bit more.I used a layout similar to my One. The ring finger is drilled through the pin and the cg is out about 50 degrees. This ball is alright, not the most impressive but certinily not the worst. Blah Blah Blah Blah!
