Ive been waiting for this ball for a long time and finally got the chance to punch one up. To say Im beyond satisfied would be an understatement. I used this ball for the first time to test it out on a typical house shot. I was able to move into the track area after there had been some play and boy was I shocked. The ball seemed to make a nice clear path thru the heads and what a controlled and readable move off the spot. This wasn't what surprised me though...the ball hit so hard, I would compare its hitting power to that of my reactive pieces, I was beyond astonished, the ball drove thru the pins like no other urethane ball Ive ever thrown. The next opportunity I got to use this ball was on a 42 foot very flat sport pattern at the IB Open in Las Vegas. The lanes were very tricky and after 2 unsuccessful squads using reactive ball I realized i was playing the wrong part of the lane and moved outside with this Urethane Hammer. Well as you can imagine it didn't disappoint, I was able to go up the lane very straight and have such a predictable motion and managed to get to 50 over for the 8 games. Again, the predictability isn't what surprised me it was the way this ball goes thru the pins, its almost amazing for a urethane ball. If you're a tournament bowler I can't stress enough how this ball needs to be in your bag. Same hold true for league bowlers, when the lanes begin to dry up, you won't be disappointed picking this piece up because it will not sacrafice hitting power.
