good ball if you are looking for something to go fairly straight and keep you out of trouble.i shot 704 with this ball the first time i used it, so i think its hitting power is not a issue. plus i bought this ball for 30 dollars brand new, so i am not disappointed at all. i would recommend that you drill this ball to hook early or it probably won't show up at all. it is a very good ball for when the heads dry up or when other balls just over-react to much. good luck!

WOW I NEVER THOUGHT A BALL THIS CRAPPY WOULD BE PRODUCED. I SEE WHY SOMEONE LEFT IT BEHIND AT THE BOWL WHERE I WORK. ON THE WET/DRY HOUSE CONDITION, A COWORKER AND I THREW THIS BALL UP THE GUTTER WITH NO THUMB AND IT STILL DIDNT HOOK. WE THREW A HOUSE BALL IN THE SAME MANNER AND GOT TWICE THE REACTION AND SOME HIT TOO. MAYBE THIS THING WOULD BE OK IF YOU BOWLED SOMEWHERE THERE WAS ABSOLUTLY NO OIL ON THE LANES BUT ON A NORMAL SHOT I CANT SEE WHY ANYONE OTHER THAN RUDY REVS MAY BE ABLE TO THROW THIS BALL.

On a night when just shooting your average is a major accomplishment, this is a great ball to turn to. It will not overreact. It produces a smooth arching hook which will keep it in the general vacinity of the pocket through most conditions. While it's tendency not to overreact is a good thing in terms of accuracy on tough conditions, it definitely costs you power when the conditions are more ideal. Getting to the pocket is pretty easy, but carrying the corner pins is another story altogether. This is often the ball I start with for initial line-up. Once I'm lined up with it, I will usually switch to something with more power, knowing I will probably go back to it once the oil carries down making accuracy more difficult.
