My first impression of this ball was a little skewed at first, because I was trying to play with it in our usual crappy OB-is-10-board kind of oil. However, to my surprise, and delight, the shot got flipped, with OB crossing the border to inside 5. With the dry outside 5 now, I could make this ball roll and hit hard from just about any length, just as long as I got out past first arrow. The most I can swing it is about 4-5 boards, but that's only when those 5 little boards get spotty, and reaction gets funky. However, since I'm one of the only guys around here brave enough to play out there, I don't have to move most of the night. I have to say though, it's fun being able to play off 1 board again. Fun to watch some of my lesser learned teammates gasp as it corners like a sports car into the pocket. 10 out of 10. Update: I just won my first Strike Force tourney with this ball. Thanks again to Lou McCammon for drilling it.

Worth the investment, I took a 10 year sabbath from Bowling and found one on E-bay ($40). If you like to make money, you will make the initial investment back by using this. I do not understand why this ball was discontinued?? It was on the market for a few years. Maybe it was at the time that Faball sold its interest to Ebonite. Its sad to see equipment so successful for a short period time discarded. For the price of the ball, you may consider the investment for a spare ball, (goes straight and any bowler should know how to kill a corner pin shot.

This was a ball produced by Faball (Hammer) for a very short time. It's unusual in that it's a ball with a very high RG core that will actually flare a couple of inches and still hit with authority. Most high RG stuff produced today is made with the old pancake weight block. They don't flare at all. The Razor series is a more modern variation on that theme. The design works well. Very few balls get through the heads as well as a lightly polished Berry Razor yet still retain hitting power. When the shot breaks down it is my secret weapon. When to use it?? Today in league I went through my first three balls during shadow bowling and they were all over-reacting (Columbia Reaction ARC drilled 4x4, Columbia Spirit drilled 5x5, and the trusty Blue Hammer drilled label leverage). I slipped on my booties and ran out to the truck for the Razor. It did the trick. When I did my part it struck every time. Only had 401 after the first two games but that was my fault, not the Razor's. Last game I
