This ball gets all 10 pins from me. As I stated above, this ball has done wonders for my average. I am contemplating purchasing a Diablo by Storm. I also have a Paradigm by Storm. In league tonight, I picked up a 7-10 split with it!!! My fiance also purchased a XXXcel from our local pro shop. Although she is not as an avid bowler as I, her average has jumped from a 128 to a 160. I'm telling you all, this ball will be around for a long time to come. I like it almost as much as my Elite Shark which I have used extensively.

WELL I WENT TO AN EBONITE DEMO DAYS TO ACTUALLLY LOOK AT "THE ONE". AFTER THROWING THE ONE FOR A WHILE THE REP RUNNING THE DEMO SAID THAT THIS BALL WOULD FIT MY STYLE BETTER. AND WAS HE RIGHT. I STARTED THROWING THIS BALL AT THE DEMO AND STARTED CRUSHING THE POCKET. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG IN COMPARISION TO SEE THIS WAS THE BALL FOR ME. . HAD ONE DRILLED 12/30/05. IST NIGHT IN LEAGUE 1/2/06 AVERAGED 205 WITH NO PRACTICE AT ALL WITH THIS BALL.SO I FIGURE WITH A FEW TWEEKS IVE GOT A WINNNER IN MY BAG.

Muck 12/25/2005 12:41:43 PM Call me satisfied Likes: I like the way the ball gets through the front part of the lane and takes an immediate left turn when it finds any hint of dry. Dislikes: This ball wasn't a big hooker when I used it on synthetic lanes which were oiled HEAVY. Very consistant ball reaction Dislikes: none so far.. wadney 8/16/2005 9:12:29 AM Wadney Likes: I have thrown all four xcel balls and this is my best by far pick. I'm a full roller with medium speed and revs. This ball works great for me on medium oil with clean back ends. It gets through the front part of the lane and makes a hard, continuous left turn to the pocket. I've had a difficult time finding a ball that I could swing way out when the lanes had a clean back end and would not roll out, but continue hooking right through the pocket and this ball fills that bill. It doesn't seem to burn all of it's energy up as soon as it makes it's turn. I started with a 174 avg. and first game out of the box was 243. It actually hooked too violently and I couldn't use it much past one game but I took it home and wet sanded it to 1500 grit and it went longer before making the turn and I went 245, 222 and 177 for a 644 series. The 177 was not the fault of the ball...I lost concentration. In any case my average is now up to 183 and I'm happy with the ball in the house I bowl in. When I took it to a senior tourney where they have new synthetic lanes and use

This is my first Ebonite purchase in a VERY long time. I am just like most people if you dont have success with a certain brand you tend to move on. I was gonig to buy the xxxcel at the start of the season but my brother talked me into a visionary ball (huge mistake think ill not be listening to my brother anymore) I didnt have a particle ball in my bag and I thought this one would fit the bill. I layed the ball out according to layout #5 on the Ebonite layout sheet pin was a 3" pin and is on the PAP and the "bomb" was above the mid line just to the left of the center line, if you look at the layout sheet it shows the bomb on the center line but according to the ebonite tech it will usually be left of the center line about 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches . small weight hole 2" past the pap to bring side weight to about 1/2 oz. This layout was supposed to provide a nice even arc not a skid\snap reaction and was supposed to be for a wet\dry condition. They nailed it dead on! Due to

I like how the xxxcel has stronger ball reaction on the backend. I have thrown the Xcel Particle, Xcel Reactive, Double XXcel, and the triple XXXcel balls. I like the earlier roll and stronger backend on the xxxcel bowling ball. The ball seems to roll very consistent. I did not get over and under with the ball on different types of bowling conditions. When I lined up to the pocket, I didn't have to worry about carry. I liked being able to play different shots with the ball on the lanes and still get the carry from the backend. If a person is looking for a ball that you can play outside, inside angles, and the track area, then this is one of the balls you would like to be having in your arsenal. This ball comes reactive sanded with 1000 grit abralon. Great job Ebonite on an excellant ball.<
