The V2 Clean is my "go to" ball after my V2 Sweet with label drilling at 16 lbs. begins to come in high. The V2 Clean allows me to play my same line out to the 2nd arrow when the lanes begin to break down. This is due in part to my pin at 1:00 with a stacked drilling. The ball goes a little longer then my sweet and comes in a little sharper with a little less arc. I also have a slightly more polished coverstock which causes a little more skid. It creates for a great 1-2 combination of the sweet and clean. The clean is a very good ball for control and hitting power. My Clean is 15 lbs and still hits like a 16 lb. ball. I highly recommend the clean. I learned how to bowl a hook with this ball. It's the first performance ball I ever owned. Bowl to win! ( or at least have fun :)<

Ball Specs: 15 lbs., 3-4" pin, 3.2 ozs top weight, drilled with the pin next to and above the ring finger, cg kicked out 45 degs, small balance hole below my PAP. Got this ball to fill a need for a long, smooth non-pearl ball for my 2nd shift league this winter. I threw this ball on two different conditions at my local house over this past weekend. First, on a fresh, medium oil house pattern (36' buffed to 40'). I stood on the third dot and threw straight up over the 2nd arrow out to about 6-8 and was very pleased to see the ball sail through the heads, pick-up a read in the mid-lane and make a suprisingly strong, sharp move the pocket. The hit was spectactular, keeping the pins low and blowing them into the pit. My first three games with the ball I threw 203, 234, 203 for a very comfortable 640 series. I threw the ball again yesterday afternoon after a youth league had bowled on the lanes; specifically to see how it reacted on drier lanes with some carrydown. I moved 5-7 boards le

WELL, by clean they obviously meant clean up the lane and put down the most oil for this ball, cause it hooks that damn much, just dont even leave a backend, just go ahead and oil all 60 feet. drill the ball to go long, and it hooks really really reallly......well you know early. this ball is the worst ball i have ever thrown, and has disgraced my game completely, which is not really that hard to do. this ball is terrible, and i will only be bowling with the v2 dry from now on when it comes to ebonite stuff, that was the best thing to happen to ebonite only ball that would do what it said......nevermind, but it is still the best ball, F@#K the v2 clean!!!!

I was looking for a ball to use on our house shot. The lanes play on the dry side with about 36 feet of oil. The outsides in this house can usually be banked, because they are so dry. Unfortunately there isn't a large volume of oil in the middle, so you need a ball that can get through the heads without reading the lanes too early. I had the ball drilled with the pin over the ring finger, and the CG in the center of the span. The ball goes long, and turns fairly angular. I was able to play the third arrow , out to the track area without any problem, and have shot some big games with it with only having bowled 6 games with it. I recommend this ball for anyone who needs more length on medium to dry lanes.

I love this ball it is so great. It is the first ball out of my bag and it works everytime. It rolls so smooth through the heads and exploads on the backend. I can use this ball in oil, carrydown, and in the dry. The roll through the heads helps in oil and on dry lanes. The back end is awesome on oil and in carrydown. Have not found a condition i can't use this ball in yet. I absolutly love pot bowling on carrydown with this ball because when everyone is strugling to find a shot i pull it down and play the track line and it rolls through the heads and turns a ton in the back end even through the carry down. The best part is the reaction of my oppenents when i crush the hole and they can't find it at all. Great ball.

When I got my V2 Clean, the first thing I did was get it sanded for maximum hook. And hook it did, and it hooked quite well. The best attribute with this beauty is it's ability to be easily read. When I rolled it, I could tell I when i was getting a strike and the hook never suprised me. I half expected this ball to be a wimp, as a few of my friends have Ebonites, and they don't have the OOMPH that a brunswick or a Hanner has. But in all honesty, I found the V2 to be a lot stronger than I first expected. My only real complaint is that it's already falling apart in my hands. As of now, it has multiple scratches and a few pock-marks already. I fear it's going to track out a bit too fast on me. Other than that, it's well worth the purchase.<sc

Drilled this with a 4” pin and the CG 4” from my PAP. This ball does what its name says; it is very clean through the front part or the lane and saves its energy for the backend. Great ball for a blended condition or when the lanes have seen some play and the oil has pushed down a little. The ball hooks too much in the back on a fresh condition. It is a great go to ball when the V2 starts to hook too much. Used this at the ABC's in Reno and shot 739 in singles with a 279. I really like this ball. This ball is a great addition to the V2 line.<sc

Purchased this ball 5 days ago purely on the recommendation of the local proshop owner. Rolled my first series with it today in my summer youth league (I'm 17). I was surprised by the elegant power it carried into the pocket. The only complication I had was that the 10 pin was left standing about 6 times throughout the series, with all 6 balls squarely hitting the pocket. My scores were 188, 215, and 216, all contributing to a 619 series. These being the first three games rolled with my new v2, I am able to say I am completely satisfied with its performance. Who knows, in time, maybe i'll overcome my complications with the 10 pin.<scrip

drilled this one 4.1/2 x 5.1/2 (120 deg) with top static left in. I got this ball for mild reactions, and something for dry lanes, it does get through the heads well, but is stronger in the mid lane and has quite a finish, more than I wanted at first, but has turned out to be a great medium to medium dry ball. It does have a predictable movement, so far have played on about 6 different shots/houses with it... nothing strange yet. This ball is good to have in the bag for the inbetween types of dry. Probably would not drill this one aggressive, my mild drill is aggressive enough.

If you like your bowling balls to get down the lane this ball is what you are looking for you. I like the ball because I can use it for my leagues. I also bowl in a pba league. Its a very dependable ball for me i have alot of ball speed and high revs. I can miss my target and still hit the pocket and carry.the only problem I can see with the ball is when the lanes start to carry down the ball starts to live single pin all over. I also woulden use the ball if your lanes are oily.

This ball is exactly what it says it is. Ball just stores up all its energy for the backend. It hits like a train. This ball is not weak at all. I found that It is good for down and in or deep. Just depends on the player, but this ball will do it all. I has a very dramatic backend if you want it to, but I can also play it straighter than almost every other ball I own due to the fact that it doesnt move much till very late. On the first night I shot with it, I was playing wood lanes with a clean strong backend. I was playing the third arrow out to the 7 board at breakpoint. I left one 9 pin on a very strong hit. No ten pins the whole night, and in this house it was unheard of. One thing about the V2 Clean is that it is very clean like its name. If you happen to get it a board or two to far out, it will leave a bucket. I ended up leaving three buckets on my first league set, but that was my bad and I knew it when the ball left my hand due to the cosistancy of the ball. <

excellent ball. gets through heads nicely. Need just a bit of carry-down to control back-end. If now carry-down, a bit touchy. With a little carry-down, ball has large margin for error. had for 2 weeks, shot 4 700's. Perfect skid-flip-roll. If you need to read the lane, throw once and pay attention. Does not hit really hard, but manages to clear deck like no other. I can throw a down and in or swing the BE-Jesus out of it. Great roll, first ball I take out of the bag on a normal house shot. Great potential. Not hard to throw a strike with, just hit around the pocket let the ball do the rest.

what more could you want for a good control ball on flying lanes. this is one great moveing ball goes real long then makes a big move to the pocket. it seems to give me a few messengers and keeps the pins real low on the deck. it doesnt like lots of oil but it wasnt made for that. ive noticed when everyone starts moveing way inside i can still play secound or third arrow with a small swing and still have great control. it goes as long as my low flare stinger did but has more snap. this is one great ball

I was watching a friend throw his new V2 Clean and I was impressed. We were bowling on the same lanes and the V2 was getting through the heads better than the Flash Point I was using. But after we reach the mid point the Flash Point was much easier to read. Both balls hit the pocket and the carry was good for each. The ball were drilled with the same concept, The pin was kick out and the CG was in the palm of the hand. I think if there was little carry down the V2 could be read all the way down the lanes. I am just wondering how the ball would hit with the carry down. Looks like Ebonit has made a good product.
