  • Great ball

I picked this ball up because I have the rubber gyro and it came with an awesome bag. It weighs just under 15lb drilled. I had the thumb filled and redrilled and had inserts installed on the ring and middle. While heavy and long oil patterns are a challenge, it can still perform well. *Can*. On my first use I was in the zone and bowled 7 strikes in a row with just my usual relaxed suitcase swing. It was regular house shot but lighter than usual. Just this evening I was a little fatigued and it was hot so I started losing steam. I remember that I wasn't tucking my pinky as I used to do when I bowled more frequently. Changed the whole trajectory and I started hitting strikes. That's more a technique than "bowling ball review" but my point is that this ball is just fine for house shot. I can't say how it will perform on more challenging patterns but on a particularly oily lane I played this week a little loft went a long way. Although I'm reading the tea leaves and know now that I really have to go back to reactive resins if I want to score more consistently, for the time being I am enjoying this as my primary ball and look forward to learn how it reacts.

Found this ball in a closet 5 years ago and decided to try it out with my two handed delivery..4 sanctioned 300s, one on wood lanes, plenty of practice 300s and an 813 high series later, I'm glad I found this ball..lmao!
