Ebonite WereWolf Bowling Ball

(3 reviews) Write a Review
The Red Hot Glow Werewolf has a breakpoint similar to the legendary Blue Wolf but with a stronger and more continuous backend hook. In addition, the Red Hot Glow Werewolf is the first lower RG Ebonite ball that consistently revs early and still maintains energy through the pocket when playing an inside angle. The symmetric, medium-low RG design utilizes a double thick flip block for superior balance and to sustain hooking power through the backend. And, as one of the first balls to feature out MegaBite ST reactive veneer, this Werewolf also offers excellent traction. That comes in handy on the hunt for more pins.

After owning 3, yes THREE of them, I'd have to say third time's a charm. The first one I owned was a hand me down that I never had redrilled to fit, but it was a cool ball anyway. The second time, it had already been discontinued, but I bought one from a guy who got a few from a pro-am tournament. Unfortunately, the guy who drilled it gave me the opposite of what I wanted(I needed early roll for the slop I was playing on, but he set it up for skip/flip. So if I wanted roll I had to put it on myself, which left no hitting power at the pindeck.) I eventually polished it up and threw a few decent games before handing it down to one of the local junior bowlers. Five years later, I see a brand new one on Ebay, with usable specs. I won it, took it to my ball guy, and took her for a test drive. Phenomenal is the only word I could use. I finally tapped the hidden potential that I'd hoped was in this ball, and set the scoresheet on fire. Even on the carrydown/overlay leauge shot, the ball would

A stroker teammate bought one of these from me & he loves it. I drilled his ball 1/2 pos. side & 2pm pin @ 2" out.No matter what surface I tried, I still could not get any revs out of this ball.It burns up early when cranked from any line on most conditions, & leaves many flat 10s.Pin placed at 1pm 2 1/2 " out 1/4 pos.side weight. The color is great. I have an easy time in finding it on the ball return . It stands out fromthe others on the return. I am still working on getting this ball to work for me.

This is the first ball out of my bag. I use it to get a good read on the conditions. I feel this core is the best one that ebonite has built. I've owned all the wolf series, and this one is the best. Hits the pins hard, and carrys the weak shots. revs up early which is very nice for the house that I bowl at. If I can keep her clean, she'll be in my bag for a long time to come! Wish that Ebonite would come up with a proactive with this core! Good Luck!
