What would you expect from a ball that combines a modified Nitro R2 core with the ultraclean Trimax Reactive Resin? Medium Length, strong backend, predictable breakpoint. Excellent for light to medium oil, the pearlized Vortex will appeal to those with slow to medium ball speeds and those who generate a lot of forward roll.

this is the most reliable ball out there it has the same hook on light to heavy oil no difference in angle or snap on different lane conditions. its no a good ball to read lane conditions its the go to in my bag. just got a ball spinner and sanded it down to use it as a heavy oil ball because my so call heavy oil ball died in the backend so it got demote to med oil ball (after some polish of course) the vortex has the tackiest cover out there. my other ball has a smooth cover not very tacky a weak resin i guess. its sad that it was meant for heavy oil when i use it on med light lane conditions im a cranker so its not me its the ball.<scrip

This ball will work best on fresh lane conditions, once the oil is soaked up for get it. I use this ball for long oil patterns mainly. It tends to want to take off to soon on short oil. I compare this ball with my DEEP DANGER ZONE or D Z 2. As for recs I would say that if you are looking for a ball that starts its turn early with a sharper arc then a lot of ball out there this would fit the bill. Just be sure that you are on long oil or it is headed early toward the Brooklyn side or further.

This is a 14 pound ball drilled close to label leverage with a weight hole. This ball has a very strong motor in it.! Even though the pearl coverstock gets it through the heads no problem it covers a ton of boards as it revs up strong in the midlane. It isn't snappy at all! It is just early and strong for a pearl. I can only use it on a wetter or longer pattern as it just covers too many boards for me on most mediums. Carry is excellent when you can use it. Great for longer patterns if you have hand and a great medium condition ball for a straighter player.

this ball just totally kicks major @$$!!!!!!!! the ball will come back no m ater how far you put it out but when it ets dry the tighten the shot and put a little speed on it because the forgiveness of this ball tends to vary. but all in all the ball is just wonderful no matter what the condition is. Polished it goes long and snaps hard and sanded it is a crankers dream with the power you would expect from ebonite. Ten pins without a doubt are most always gonna fall wen this ball is in the pocket... guaranteed.

This ball was advertised for light oil yet i see myself using it for medium to medium heavy and tossing it out. It did react good but damn can't they at least not send it out on opposite day. I have shot a 298 with it but my series was 298-238-235. I should have shot alot better but when my shot started drying out the damn ball left too many corner pins. I had nothing but 9 spare or strikes the whole series except the last ball on my 298 which i just choked and went light. It's a descent ball but not what i wanted as usual.

i love this ball sooooo much. the best thing that ever happened to me. the mos forgiving ball i have seen. had a 110 average. now i have a 155 average. i'm just fourteen, and have only been bowling for a year. very good for me. i now am a stroker who cups his wrist very greatly and puts lots of revs on it. that is my go to release. after that i can bowl straight down the side and in or like i normaly do swing it out to around the anywhere from the 2nd to 4th arrow. if i put the right amount of revs on it(i'm too lazy to do most of the time) this ball will crush the pocket from anywhere. i will throw this ball on fresh lanes with lots of revs and i can bowl anywhere from the 1st arrow to the 4th. it will come back and strike almost 60 percent of the time. thats just on bad shots. any other time can be used for any situation. strikes or spares. no matter what. i just got rubber inserts put in this ball. now it is truly fingertip. very very good for me. i would

This ball moves like butter down the lane, it will work for almost any style of bowler. I still get ALOT of use out of the ball, it's the first thing I pull out of my bag. One thing I don't like about the ball is bout halfway through the season I'll have to bake it. When it's soaked up enough oil it will not carry for squat. When I start to leave a ton of tens or leave 7's when I hit light I know it's time for a session in the oven. But so long as you take care of it, you'll get more than your moneys worth.

This ball is great. I can play so many lines with this ball it is unbeliveable. I play as deep as the 33- 5 or as tight as 10-1 and still get a great reaction out of this ball. It is drill with the pin under the middle finger with the cg mabye a 8th of an inch kicked to the right with a weight hole for added length. It carries great to. Great ball for a lot of conditions. It is a little to much on like bone dry lanes, but who will run into that when it is league.

Simple a good, no great ball without question. The vortex afterbunner replaced this ball cause people said it wasn't the best partner for the vortex 2. The ball was discon. and it is a shame. Drill the ball long and skid/snap and you get a great reaction. Don't doubt this ball cause it will prove itself. YOu can tell when it will be a great and a not so great shot. if your speed or entry angle is to strong it will leave four or nine pins. if you can find one in the clearance bin then buy it and have some fun. A very strong second shift ball, or a light oil first shift ball. It has been a good tourenment ball as well, it has won me more prizes than anyother piece of equipement in my arsenal.<
