Purchased this ball just before league tonight. Was able to roll three practice balls during warm-ups. First game 235, next game 245, third game had to put it in the bag because it was hooking too hard. Great ball, great hook in the oil. The ball just keeps hooking through the deck. Pins flying all over when it hits. This is for sure the first ball out of the bag for me. Ball drilled stacked label. Nice hard arcing motion. Thought it might be too strong for my style, but I was wrong. The ball hits like a tank and never stops hooking. So far, it is the best ball I've thrown in quite some time. Puts everything I currently own to shame as far as hook. Was able to play inside just a litte as well as outside. Great ball for the money

finally i got this thing to work. i was on bowling reviews.com and someone suggested to me that maybe i should polish the ball then someone told me to change the surface again of the ball and finally someone told me to go and get the ball redrilled and that's exactly what i did and got the ball sanded down to about 1000 grit and now it helped me shoot 220 165 178. I was swiching in between that and my big deal but it was a good nite having been my first time in 4 months using it.

In league we have to shoot a 39 foot sport shot. My average is roughly 170, I shot 133 and thought the game would get better because the lanes were so flooded, then i shot a 94, haven´t done that since i began to bowl, and finally the third game was a 117. Many say maybe it was me and i needed to adjust. I just stop throwing it in the middle of game three and picked up my danger zone and struck and spared for the most part because i had 30 in the fifth. So the least to say is i am not happy with my V2 now. If anyone can suggest anything please do....and i cleaned it several times in the beginning, middle, and end of the game, and i moved all across the lanes and shot different arrows to find a line, and nothing.

Overall the V2 Power is a good ball. I have it drilled 12:00 leverage to hopefully max the ball out. For the most part with my V2 power my average has increased by roughly 36 pins from a 124 to a 160, in the course of a couple of weeks. I shall see how well it performs once i start league next week. When i first started bowling with it, i got oiled out, or at least that's what my pro shop guy told me. Now that i have been practicing with it, it is very predictable and i can tell what it's gonna do as soon as i let it off of my fingers, however there's always that time when your ball or balls don't agree with you and you throw a perfect pocket shot and it moves right at the end to leave a split...well i have done that a couple of times with this but that's with all balls. Overall this is a good ball and i recommend it....it helped increase my average.

I guess this ball is OK for a bowler that does not have much hand. It always seemed to take off way too early and by the time it got to the pins it hit like a wet dish rag. I had to flatten out my release to a point where it was very uncomfortable before I got any kind of decent shot and carry with this ball. If you have even the slightest amount of hand, pass this one by but if you are a bowler who is hook challenged, this may be the ball for you. 50 words 50 words 50 words.

This ball is great to play in the oil. The dual flip blocks on this ball makes it's hitting power great on the backend. I was able to play down the track with no problem. I was also able to move around and play around second arrow and third arrow with not having a problem of getting back to the pocket. I didn't see much difference bowling with this ball on woods lanes as opposed to bowling on Guardian. I shot good scores on both type of conditions. This is a great step up in the vortex series. I have thrown all four balls. The Vortex II original, Vortex II Sweet, Vortex II Strong/R, and the Vortex II power. This is by far my favorite. Great job Ebonite on another great ball.

I have just gotten my v2 power. It was suggested to me by an experienced ebonite buddy and i got it drilled today. Its drilled 1200 leverage to max the ball out and let it show it's true potentional, (i hope i got it drilled correctly if anyone has any adjustments they feel would help let me know). Today right after i got it drilled i practiced with it. The first game i only shot a 126. I was switching frame for frame between that and my original danger zone(great ball also) but neither seemed to work, then my proshop guy came out and told me that i had probably been oiled out because my ball had massive amounts of oil on them. The second game was the right condition for it because i shot a 176. The third was 167, and the fourth i tried something new by standing at 30 and throwing it to 8 and seeing how far it would come back and i was rushing because my grandma said we had stuff to do. All in all i came out with a 157 from that game. Not a bad ball at all. Once i get back to school an

v2 power, Center heavy, extremely low RG, spherical inner core with dual flip blocks... should read "will start up in the heaviest oil pattern. i actually got to use this ball in our state tourney this past weekend and saw the great potential it has when you are forced to get inside on a "house" pattern, there was enough oil to get the ball through the front and then came the exceptional power of the core tuned with a great ne shell from ebonite. if you are looking for a big reacting ball, the v2 power rocks and is in the mid-price category which should make this ball very popular, definitely premium perfomance, very strong and continuous hook! maybe a v2 sanded on steroids! hope senator mccain doesn't include bowling balls in his legislation!
