Ebonite Optyx Skull Ball Bowling Ball - Yellow

This was the very first Optyx Skulll. It has a yellowish/brownish tint to it. Ebonite knew it was time to dig up another Super Fun Ball™ and what Ebonite came up with is super spooky. In November of 1999, the Skull Ball™, a bowling ball scarier than all the rest, was introduced. It was an absolute scream to watch the reactions of bowlers (and non-bowlers) as this ball was unveiled. The production run of the Skull Ball is limited. Ebonite's exclusive Everclear™ polyester was used to create a bowling ball with a realistic, gruesome skull in the middle. But don’t be fearful of its performance on the lanes. This ball, like the other Fun™ and Super Fun balls, rolls predictably straight. Mine is drilled stright up with no inserts. Used it for a first ball on a night when nothing was going. Threw a 10 bagger off the corner. Takes the oil out of play. You just have to be accurate. If you miss you are screwed, but thats with most balls. I get a lot of laughs from guys who think they know what they are talking about. They dont think that a plastic ball can carry. I have narrowed down my balls to 2 at the moment. The Skull and a blue pearl Rhino Pro. They all laugh.......untill they start leaving 10 pins and my line holds all night. This ball is awsome for spears and strikes. It beates my Phenom, Reaction Roll, and my Angle Evolution hands down.

I have had a lot of compliments on this ball. It is a great conversation piece and a collector's item. I always wanted a clear ball ever since I was little and Ebonite made my dream come true. I wish they would have made more of them. It would help a lot of lonely people start a conversation. This ball doesn't hook which is ideal for someone who leaves a lot of 10 pins. If you throw a big hook and can't make the 1 pin spares then this ball is the answer. Ebonite makes good plastic balls!
