I was intrigued by the clear resin idea; since it has no pigment, the resin more pure, and surface friction is reproducable from ball to ball. With pigment, the concentration of the color can change the surface quality. However, the side effect is a much harder shell, and this ball is no exception. I got a 78 Durometer reading!! But with a little dulling, I think I could get a stronger reaction. So for now, I can use this ball when there's some kind of backend. I was able to make it work in the flood that was out there, since there were two or three dry boards. But, since my house sucks, those boards went away after a game and a half. But all in all, I like the ball, and I think it will be fun to score with. For now, 10 out of 10.

this ball is great for any cranker that knows how to rev and loves to do it. i still remember having to throw the ball out to the 1 board from the third arrow to even get the ball to hit the pocket. those were my old days i not knowing how to cut down rev but now i use it every once and a while and when i do its a guratneed 250 right out of the bag. if i didnt have the columbia rock pearl or the duece i will still be using this ball. well anyway this ball is great for someone who is really trying to get a ball to hook on oily lanes, but dont get the ball to hook as much as possible unless you have real consistentsy and i dont know anyone that has it. but oh well thats just me. well i am tired of rambling on

MY FIRST STAB AT AN EBONITE. I HAD IT DRILLED UP ON A WEEKEND AND WHEW, WHAT A GREAT BALL. IT JUST WENT DOWN THE LANE AND ROLLED UP NICE AND HARD. AND IT CARRIED EVERYTHING. I KNEW I HAD TO USE IT IN LEAGUE AND JUST ASSUMED THAT I COULD LINE IT UP WELL. WELL ID GET LINED UP, THEN THE OIL WOULD CARRYDOWN AND I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE BEEN THROWING A HOUSE BALL. ANY AMOUNT OF CARRYDOWN AND THIS IS THE MOST UNPREDICTABLE PIECE OF GARBAGE ON THE LANES. I BOUGHT AN OLD EBONITE TURBO FOR 25 BUCKS AND ITS TEN TIMES BETTER THAN THIS THING. I UNDERSTAND THAT REACTION WILL CHANGE AS CARRYDOWN OCCURS, BUT THIS THING JUST DIES IN THOSE CONDITIONS. OH WELL THATS WHY I STICK TO MY BUZZSAWS FOR THE SERIOUS STUFF.

the ball is drilled with the pin above the center of the bridge and cg alittle off center on the mid-line. anyone who has alot of hand or revs, this ball can be used anytime. the more oil the farther you need to move right if your a righty. the ball as a great pocket reaction, the ball sends messengers alot. for those who don't use alot of hand they'll have to wait for the dry lanes in order to use it. this ball is a very consistent reacting ball. the ball starts to roll at about the midlane and gives a strong arc to the pocket. for me its alittle too strong for dry but works great on medium conditions. the best lane condition is medium to light oil. *see profile for my style stats<sc

Spare balls are underestimated, you would normally use an old worn out poly ball, if you want to get thoese extra 15-20 pins you got to have a very good spare ball to erase thoese nasty spares, Formula 1 will do that for you with its excellent and high control lenght and sharp backend, i use a el nino, and a messenger tec for my strike shots and if i play on a dry to medium lane i use my Formula for both strike and spares, all i have to say is GO GET YOUR OWN Optyx Formula 1 !!!

Top weight-unknown Weight-15 Pin- 2 1/2 inches Drilled-with pin just over ring finger, cg in left side of hand. (no weight hole necessary) Polished with Ebonite factory polish Lane Condition-sorry for got to but the lane condition on. House shot moderate oil in between the 4 board and to the 36 board with outside 3 boards being soaked to no other length of the oil is to 30ft buffed to 35ft. Doesn't have a very strong drill on it. Not worth how much they are asking but defiantly a great ball. Start out by standing on 27 with my left foot, Straight wrist, throw to 12 board and roll out to 4 board and has a very aggressive turn to the pocket, I was not expecting this ball to turn this much. O boy it goes long and has a very aggressive backend. Cupped mode stand at 35 board rolling to board 20 and going to 10 board has a bit earlier turn on the ball by about 4-5ft but very noticeable, tends to slide when the pocket has some oil. If you are looking for a cool ball this is the one t
