Ebonite Matrix Trimax 3 Bowling Ball

The Matrix I and Matrix II balls have produced tour titles for the Ebonite staff and trophies aplenty for serious bowlers. So what can we say about a new Big Wheel Matrix III? Only one thing: clear some more space on the mantle for more trophies. How can we be so sure of success with the new ball? The Big Wheel ultra-rigid Reactive Resin has a texture that penetrates oil better than any previous Matrix ball. Put together with the proven BOMB嘯 AWAY™ core, and you影e got balls that have to be thrown to be believed. How effective is this new Big Wheel Reactive Resin? Listen to this: with the new Trimax™ III, the amount of hook from 42 to 60 feet, is a whopping 16%-25% more than with the Trimax I and II. That produces an 8%-11% increased entry angle over the Trimax I and II. Power? It幢l conquer inside angles like never before. As for Matrix TPS™ III balls, bowlers get the same early revving as with the TPS I, the same great backend particle power of the TPS II, combining for a 6%-8% increase in hook from 42 to 60 feet and a 4%-6% increased entry angle over TPS I and II. These numbers tell a simple story: if you've loved the combination of predictability, control, and power with the Matrix I and II, you影e going to love the increased power with the Matrix III. You've heard of catching lightning in a bottle. We've caught it and put it in a ball.

MY wife recieved a tape in the mail from ebonite promoting this as " the big wheel"...After watching the reaction of the ball on film, and listening to the concept, I thought that would be a nice weapon. My wife bought me the ball for a holiday, and I immediately drilled it. I dropped to a 15 pounder due to recurring tendenitis. In my 4 game league, I began to use the ball for the 3rd and 4th games. After 3 months, I was averaging 219, and 1 month out of the box I threw a 300. I missed my mark so badly on the 12th shot from nerves, and the ball recovered and slammed the pocket. Any ball that allows a bowler like me who lacks consistancy on a regular basis should hunt this ball down and drill it.

A friend of mine had this balland didn't like it. Had it drilled with the pin above the MIDDLE finger(not the ring finger) and the CG in the palm above the midline. He tends to be a stroker and didn"t get enough on it to make it hit well. Since I put a lot of hand into the shot , he gave it to me and it is AWESOME. This ball is finished at 1500 grit sanding with as much "BLACK MAGIC" polish as I can get on it. This ball will go 45-50 ft on fresh house shot. That sounds like it is too far for a readable breakpoint but this ball is so smooth and strong that it has replaced about three balls in my arsenal. On fresh oil it will go long and snap pretty hard but as the lane condition breaks down the readability of this ball lets me stay with it until the lanes are just fried. The carry ratio for this ball for me has been phenomenal as it just gets better the deeper I move as the night progresses. Great one Ebonite!
