Ebonite Matrix Dynasty Bowling Ball

The ability to assess lane conditions quickly and adjust your game with phenomenal results is now within reach. The thinking that went into the latest addition to the Matrix line balances power and predictability for peak performance in most lane conditions. Get the Matrix Dynasty, and play it smart. The Motor The Matrix Dynasty utilizes a version of Ebonite's highly successful Matrix Trimax I core. The mass bias location of the Dynasty was shifted from the BOMB's Away position (used in the Matrix Trimax I) to a BOMB's Down position (mass bias being on the same side of the pin as the Center of Gravity). The BOMB logo will be located roughly 6-3/4 inches from the pin, on the same spot as the locator pin. The BOMB's Down position provides an earlier roll than the BOMB's Away, enabling the Dynasty core configuration to be steadier through the mid-lane than the Trimax I, providing more predictability in longer oil patterns and in the transition from skid to hook when crossing from the oil into the dry portion of the lane. The breakpoint will be smoother and the ball will have more continuation through the backends than the Trimax I. The Tires The Big Wheel™ reactive coverstock provides the power throughout the ball's path down the lanes. The pearlization and addition of PET sparkles combine to conserve energy well and create a strong hook potential in the backends. The Dynasty comes factory polished to a medium luster. The Big Wheel coverstock is easily tunable to provide the desired breakpoint and hook potential. The Combination The Matrix Dynasty's versatility will allow it to play many different lane conditions and fit a multitude of bowlers' styles. This versatility enables it to be an excellent "benchmark" ball, identifying the oil pattern from front to back and side to side. Benchmark balls are more "user-friendly," allowing the player to manipulate the roll pattern and breakpoint using different hand positions and rev rates. Surface Texture Having the correct surface texture will enable the Dynasty to perform at its peak. The medium luster factory polish is designed for medium oil conditions and medium speed players. Test the box finish in your bowling center. Should your ball speed be faster or the lane condition be heavier oiled (causing the breakpoint to be too far down the lane to provide adequate hook), we suggest scuffing the ball with a burgundy scuff pad or 600 grit sandpaper. If your ball speed is slower on the lane condition lighter oiled, the box finish may be too aggressive, causing the ball to lose energy down the lane. We suggest polishing with Ebonite Powerhouse Extender Polish. This will allow the ball to retain energy longer, which delays the breakpoint and provide a more continuous hook in the backends. Please consult the surface friction guide for further information. Maintenance It is imperative to maintain a clean surface to allow the oil-displacing pores in the ball's surface to function properly Powerhouse Energizer Cleaner and Powerhouse Ball Scrubs contain a potent combination of organic and inorganic cleaners designed to deep clean the dirt and oil from the ball's pore structure. Both products are legal for use during ABC competition as well as after the conclusion of competition. The micro-fiber, Powerhouse Oil-Free Towel will provide more absorption of oil and dirt than standard terry towels.

I bought this ball as a ball to use on light oil or late into league shifts and games. Since i had no other equipment that would hold line in burnt conditions i figured i'd get another one of these and drill it to go long. I had the ball drilled for the delayed reaction, with the pin over the ring finger and the cg out 1 inch. I threw a coat of black magic polish as i do with all my balls and the results were amazing. The ball had a very strong and tight arc back to the pocket, and not only did it hit real nice, the pin action was amazing. For once i got a ball that when i throw great shots, I get my strikes. I kicked a lot of corner pins and sent a lot of sweeping messengers. Now the results were amazing but nothing can describe how controllable and easy to read this ball was. It seemed that every time i let the ball go at my mark, it would hit and hold line in the dry. Overall the control and performance of this ball in the toughest conditions make it a worthwhile prospect<scr

I bought this bowling ball on a recmonendation of my friend. I told him that i was having a little bit of difficulty bowling on drier lanes conditions. So i bought this bowling ball and got it drilled negative (im lefty so everything so the pin and everything else was swung out to the right). The very first time i threw the ball on dry lanes i didnt have to throw with a tremendous amount of speed nor flatten out my wrist in order to get is smoothly into the pocket. This didnt move and inch through the heads of the lanes and once it hit the backend it snapped right in (I was playing right up the second arrow). Prior to this bowling ball 7 pins were also a big problem because i just didnt get the carry i needed. Once i got this ball however, the times i leave up a 7 pin are few and far between. This is a very good ball to pull right out of the bag to asses the lanes due to its versatility. The only lanes condition i DO NOT recommened this bowling ball for is heavier oil. The oil

This ball is poetry in motion. It has one of the cleanest hooks of any ball I have thrown and carrys till about forty feet when it starts it's gradual arc back in. If you like a ball with a massive back end, try another ball. If you want a ball with the ability to mix it and play on all conditions, this ball is hot. It is really durable and has a very heavy hit. This ball packs a very surprising punch and almost never leaves a split if you miss. Very forgiving and over all an excellent ball. Congrats to Ebonite.

After returning to bowling after 10 years, my equipment was outdated. I returned with a 172 average and now after a week with this ball, my average has increased to 210. This ball has been a great confidence booster for this Stroker. It loves the pocket. I started playng the outside first arrow before buying this ball. I attempted to change my style by using the track seen in catalogs. This was a big mistake. I returned to where I was comfortable at the outside first arrow and noticed a great improvement. There were a couple of splits at first but after making adjustment, this is no longer a problem.

This Dynasty is different from all my columbia balls. It is more wild and the impact is wow! It impresses me but yet to get full control over the ball. The coverstock is great and creates the impact to shatter the pins. A good variation from the columbia balls. Would like to try more of the matrix series. Get one and use it and find out yourself. You will not regret it! It hooks boards like nobody's busniess and its impact at the end of the lane will leave you simply want to throw it more. Not for dry lanes though coz it outhook everyball on dry lanes!

This ball is drilled similar to my Colossus, pin at 3-3/8, BOMB is 1/2 in. below and left of thumb. The Dynasty is the first ball out of the bag, all the time. It gives great length, with an incredible snap on the back end. Of course, if the oil is carried down far enough, the ball won't snap as hard. No matter what, this ball can be summed up in one word: POWER. It also makes the pocket seem larger, carrying many hits that are a bit high or a bit light. Definitely a worthy offering, very versatile, and one that most styles will be able to use and control with ease.

IF YOU NEED A BALL TO ROLL OUT AND STILL CARRY WELL, THIS IS THE ONE. AS IN THE OTHER REVIEWS DID THE DEMO DAYS THING. THIS ONE WAS NOT CONDITION SPECIFIC, NICE AND VERSATILE. I JUST DIDNT LIKE IT BCUZ IT HOOKS AND STOPS. BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS ITS STILL A GOOD BALL. THE REACTION MICHEELE FELDMAN WAS GWTTING ON THOSE TWO SHOWS IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAW. IT LOOKED STRANGE TO SEEA BALLROLLOUT NOP MATTER WHAT U DID TO IT. BUT IT DOES WORK.THIS ONE LOVED THE WET/DRY HOUSE SHOT. IT JUST SKIDDED WAY DOWN THE LANE TURNED TOWARDS THE POCKET ROLLED OUT AND CARRIED. I GAVE IT 6 PINS BCUZ OF THE ASS UGLY COLOR MOSTLY, AND PARTLY BCAUSE THE ROLLOUT REACTION ISNT WHAT EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR.

Top weight-Unknown Weight-15 Pin-2-3 inches Surface-Polished with Ebonite Factory Polish Drilled-3 3/3 X 3 3/8 no weight hole necessary. Lane Condition #1-Lanes had not been touched from the night before, all the oil is pushed in the middle and down in the pocket. Lane Condition #2-House shot moderate oil in between the 4 board and to the 36 board with outside 3 boards being soaked to no other length of the oil is to 30ft buffed to 35ft. Lane Condition #1 This ball was drilled to have mid lane read and nice aggressive arc to the backend. Started by standing at the 22 board rolling to 13 board and toss to 8 board, and having the ball have a nice mid lane read and nice smooth but yet aggressive arc, Which I had really good success with that hand position really well (straight wrist forgot to put it on). Secondly went to cranked wrist and standing a 32 board laying down the ball at the 20 board and having it peak out at the 15 board with a nice strong aggressive roll to the

I ordered this ball as a dry lane ball with my predator. The only problem is that it hooks more then the predator! Amazing ball. I have mine drilled with the pin above the ring finger 3/4oz sideweight. It holds the lane very well and recovers well during a mis aimed shot. I play fairly stright line. I swing out maybe a max of 8 boards. I also like playing far far outside : ) Overall a excellent ball. Order one you wont be dissapointed That sounded like an ebonite commercial........ I need more words Words Words Words Words Words Words Words That should be about 100 words or close.

Ebonite rates it as a medium to lighter oil ball but my experience was different. Condition A- I originally tried to play an outside line standing 20 and swinging to 4, but this ball was way too strong for this line. I knew that it would roll earlier than my Storm Stuff, but the right hand turn that it made was incredible. This line did not work

I have bowled over 20 games with this ball. It's worth the 118.50. This ball is either real consistent (267, 250 x 6 or 7) or real tough to play on patchy/dry lanes (132, 150) Usually after 3 games of 5 people the lanes are torn up to much to control this ball. Hint: righty's keep moving left :). Also I am getting sick and tired of splits and 9 pins. this ball hits so hard that it usually takes out the ten with the 6, but them damn 9 pins are driving me nuts. Also, if dry and drive through the head pin.. I hope you know the 6-7-10 well ;) <sc
