Element Au79

Experience the power of Dyno-thane's Soaker™ resin. Building on the Tour proven success of the original is not an easy task. The new Element Au79™ has the perfect blend of Solid and Pearl Soaker Resin™ to deliver a strong midlane roll and a big backend reaction. No need for smoke and mirrors, this ball flat-out performs. Don't look for the magic spots, it's unnecessary. Like its predecessor, the Element Au79's core is symmetrical. This translates to a ball that's easy to drill and even easier to rack up the big scores.

Ball is layed out with the RIco grip. Pin in center of grip 1 inch above midline with large weight hole in lower thumb quadrant. First ball I have ever used this layout on and it is a real winner. When the shot is brutal this ball makes it look like a house shot! I am able to keep this ball in play longer than anything I have ever used. I have put in in my tournament only bag since it is soo good and has been discontinued. Just picked up a second one NIB to store away for a rainy day! This layout has turned this skid flip monster in to a controlled reacting all purpose ball for med to heavy oil. I have jsut drilled up a Black Vendetta as a go to ball when this one starts to burn early. So far it has been a good 1-2 punch. Looking forward to the Element NE-10 coming in November 06.

This ball will do the usual skid snap on fresh lanes with dry backends, or will arc into the pocket with heavy carrydown. If the lanes are too dry then the Zr 40 is the ball to go to. But on all other conditions, this ball turns and burns. I have it drilled up leverage, Pin 3 inches, top weight 4 oz. You can send it up and in (10 to 5 board) or whip out the big bend (20 to 7 board) and get the same results. Between the Zr 40 and the Au 79 I have not found a lane condition that I could not score well on.

Where to start.. Ok, I won a raffle and got a Au - 79. The Ball specs are Gross Weight 15lbs and 2oz. Top weight is 2.62 oz and Pin Placement is 2.5 to 3 inches. After checking the c.g. placement, the c.g. was in the right place on this ball. After setting up a pretty decent arsenal for most anything I bowl on .. I thought a Au - 79 would complement my Black Vendetta. Leaving the ball at factory surface, My proshop driller and myself decided to go with a 3 by 5 layout with no weight hole. This layout is the same layout I used in a V2 and with this ball with more length and more backend I thought this was a good match. Lane surface is old wood with bad heads and a gutter at the 7 board for the righthanders. More THS X - Mas Tree. First Thoughts: After using the wrong ball for the first half of the game I switched to the Au - 79 and Struck out with the back 4. I used the AU - 79 and opened up the lane with east push in the front part of the laned and a smooth backend end reac

a greate ball who hits like a moving truck. out of the box finish is greate but its very easy to either polish or make it more dull. The pincarry is so good that I fell my biggest problem is to get the nine pin out. not much more to say about the element au79. jjjj jjjjjjjj kkkkkkkkkk llllllll öööööööööö nnnnnn ,,,, mmmmmm bbbbbbbb vvvvvvvvv ccccccccc fffffff ggggg hhhhhhhh jjjjjjj kkkkkkk yyyyyy tttttt rrr e uuuuuu hhhhhhhh gggggggg fffffffff dddddddd vvvvvvvv bbbbbb nnnnnnn jjjjjjj hhhhhhhh ggggg ffff d sdd fft bgh hhh u jh hj hjk ik u g g uyyuyg yg f f ft yuu u hj f u u

When I first got the ball I left the ball in out of box condition 800 grit polished. The ball rolled ok, but I was getting alot of jerkiness and alot of over/under with the ball. For a while I was very dissapointed with the bowling ball. I then talked to my ball driller and he recommended to take the ball down the 600 grit(green pad) so we did just that, and wow what a difference that made. The ball is so smooth, but powerful in the mid-lane and a strong arc on the backend. If anyone is experiencing any over/under or jerkiness, I recommend sanding it with a green pad and you wont be dissapointed. I rate this ball a 9 1/2 out of 10.

i have been wanting this ball for over a year now and finally got this ball when it came into the local pro shop. i decided to go with the number one layout since it was the only layout i could get on the sheet. at first the ball really wasnt doing much and i was really confused about how it was going to start reacting, but after a while things soon changed. after a game or so the ball started really showing what it could do and was smashing the pocket. this ball was leaving smash 8's but still sending messengers around to knock them down. this is a great ball for anyone to try who wants a ball for many lane conditions.

this ball was great on leading me to much success in my bowling carrer... it has left me with a ton of strikes over the months and i can not thank it anymore than that... still makes me wonder why i put it away at times... just wore down way to fast in my mind... on high oil it would come in light a ton of times which could make a person mad... it is great for people who are looking to throw the ball with more arc or revs on the ball... could of had a better job of lasting longer like many other of my balls that i have bowled with in my carrer... i guess if you have the money i would buy it if you can buy another ball also but if not then i would just let this one sit on the shelf at the pro shop

let me start by saying i was completely disappointed in the hype surrounding this ball and it made me want to never purchase a DT ball again. i say that first cause you might find yourself in the same boat, but do like i did and that feeling will be wiped away. got my gold (cause thats what Au 79 is) went into a tourny with it. that was a mistake thought that the 7 inches of flare would take care of all my worries well i was wrong. drilled it in a stack postion in order to use all 7 inches. 15 lb ball and every time i used the damn thing wouldnt work just went straight. so i took it home sanded it with a b pad came back the next day and was hesitant, but threw it anyway. the thing took of like a bat outta you know what! first couple of balls were brooklyn but once i found the pocket the pins never sounded better. the ball smashes, you come up lite, the ball smashes, hit head, ball smashes. final words get this ball and toy with it, it may not be the best thing out of the box but once y

This ball is best suited for a medium-oil, medium carry-down house pattern. Throw it in heavy oil, and it will skid 60ft. I can get plenty of hand in the ball, and normally getting a ball to hook is not a problem, but this one definitely needs some dry lane to grab. I was bowling well with this ball in my Saturday night league (had a best of 771 with it) until they changed to a HEAVY oil shot, which forced me to put it away entirely. But for anything other than heavy oil, it's a keeper.<scr

GOING FROM ONE HOUSE TO ANOTHER.......THIS IS THE BALL YOU WANT TO HAVE WITH YOU. IF YOU KNOW THE THREE BASIC HAND RELEASES AND HOW TO PLAY EXTREME OR NORMAL LINES THIS BALL CAN ADJUST TO CHANGING CONDITIONS BETTER THAN ANY I HAVE EVER OWNED. ( 36 IN TOTAL ) IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW OR CAN'T READ A LANE CONDITIONS..PLAY GOLF. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PIN PLACEMENT OF THE BALL YOUR PURCHASEING.MAKE SURE IT WILL ALLOW SOME DRILLING VARIATIONS. ONCE AGAIN .......THIS BALL IS FOR THE EXPERIENCED BOWLER WHO KNOWS THE VALUE OF A VERSITLE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS CHANGING BALLS AND ADDING OR REMOVING TAPE...YOU WILL BE USEING THE SAME BALL YOU STARTED WITH BY CHANGING ONLY LINE OR RELEASE.

I like this ball and can trust it to make it back to the pocket when the conditions break down. The ball does not have a very large margin of error. When I say a good margin of error I like to play with 7 or 8 boards. I have to constantly hit the same 2 or 3 boards or I am coming up very high. The ball is not forgiving if I do not get it out far enough. I am leaving way too many 9 counts for my taste. Maybe it is just my luck, but none of my storm gear is leaving that many spare oppurtunities.<s

well i really dont think thier is any thing wrong with this ball it is a little better than the first even though the first was basicly the best ball then but now the au79 is perfect in every way i drilled my pin above the fingers and the cg right below and kicked it out to the positive side a quater of a inch it does have a little more backednd then what i wanted but its ok i will get used to it. oh and the first time i used this ball i shot 732 and my average has went up 12 pins well basicly thats all i have to say about this ball if u have any questins please email me at 08sosbt@wapak.org .<

This is my first Dynothane ball and probably not my last. The only reasons I bought the ball were the color and that no one in my area throws one. Actually, I haven't seen anyone throwing Dynothane balls. After using it exclusively for the last month, it has quickly become my favorite ball. The ball goes long and finishes strong. Based on my scoring, two others have drilled one. Now I have to go find another ball no one has. I would've rated it a ten had it not scratched up so fast. That, and the fact the cover gets pretty dirty. ------------------------------------------------------- 02/11/2005 - Amended review - I subtracted another pin from my rating because this ball definitely squirts on carrydown.

Awesome inside ball and carries well from all angles. Hits like a Truck! Gives you the whole lane and then some. Forgiving if hits dry early and leaves very few pins on bad shots (10 or 7 pins). Leave the occassional bucket or 2/8 when thrown to hard in the oil line. Have used on wet and medium dry oil on both synthetic and wood lanes. Have shot several high scores from inside line and have even used straight up the oil line. Has a true controlable hook. On really crisp shots, I leave the 9 pin a lot. A little straight on heavy oil with high ball speed.

I pulled this one out for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was used to shooting straight down 10 standing on 17. Bad idea... coach told me to move to 25 board and did the party begin or what!!! Ball suddenly turned into a wild animal and just tore the medium condition apart. Even when I threw it out a board more than I should it just came back harder and a light pocket shot mixes better than ANYTHING ive ever seen, strong pocket is boringly predictable... no need to wait for the result, and most high shots go too!! Although ive had a solid 8 pin and an 8-10 but thats over about 15 games... so yeh nothing really. So far on wood its been great, beat the centre manager 9-1 thursday night, so thats gotta up the rating! (So sorry about that...hahaha) If you are looking for an aggressive yet smooth medium oil ball the Element Au 79 is really does have a great arc to snap reaction without being too savage. I will never get over the power of this ball... it has to be seen to beli

This ball is the best ball I have in my bags. Even though my dad doesnt let me use it on wood lanes thats okay its too much ball for wood or atleast the wood lanes around here. I was able to play multiple shots on multiple conditions. Even though if the lanes begin drying out, I begin moving left until the shot is gone for that ball then I will make a switch to a lower ball. I have this ball drilled as so: ...................................O O * .........................................CG .....................................O I never used that drill pattern before so I gave it a try and so far so good. So this is my review so I'm just wasting words. Hmmm so how are you whoever who reads this. Well thats it I think so bye bye.<s

The ball really impressed me with the ease of lenght and the hitting power. The ball actually hits too hard. I left alot of nine pins with 42' of oil. The rest of the players were having a hard time with not getting thier balls to hit and this ball was hitting soo hard and leving solid pins mostly nines. The ball has a great look to it also and it was really easy to lay it out for the drilling. Dyno-thane made a dyno-might ball, can not wait to see thier next element. Maybe it will be Platium with a touch of silvers or white gold.

I drilled this up from Willie Willis with the pin on the grip line and the CG about 3/4" from the grip line. The ball didn't need a weight hole. First he went out and tested this ball on a house shot. The outsides are dry and the middles are wet. Willie was able to use different break points and get this ball back to the pocket from almost anywhere. On a variety of tournament shots, this ball was great. On any of the medium to light oil shots, Willie was able to throw this ball and have no problem getting the ball through the heads, and having the ball turn the corner. For the heavy oil shots that he came around he was still able to use this ball, but had to go more up the lane to keep the ball in play. Overall, I think this ball will fit into a lot of bowler's games. If you are looking for a ball that will get down the lane and give you backend pop, don't overlook this ball. All Dyno-Thane fans, don't miss out on this one. Any questions, please email me at Bill@Buddi

Got one of these from the local pro-shop to help promote Dynothane in the area. Had it drilled for maximum hook, Pin next to the ring finger with the CG swung right. Boy does this ball deliver on the condition I use it on. On a typical Medium House shot I can play this ball all night right over the third arrow and not have to worry about over/under out of this ball. It consistently hits the break point and gives better than average carry. The only things from my use so far that it doesn't like is too much carry down or too dry lanes. Of course it wasn't meant for these conditions so I don't carry that into my review. Overall, I felt this ball was 5x better than the original Element. I must have for everyone.

my friend said this ball wouldnt do a damn thing for me...yeah, right...was playing a very nice dump shot up 5 board, easily made the turn and ended up shooting 289 my first game with it...series was a 762. the next night, the lanes were a little drier, and i was swinging it from 14 to 10 and the ball recovered well and CRUSHED the hole...ended up shooting 721 with it...not to mention ive shot a 300 in practice with it too...i cant say enough good things about dynothane, they are absolutely great :) go get this ball if you are interested in the dynothane brand...it should be their benchmark ball now...definitely :)

DRILLED MY AU79 WITH A SLIGHT BIT OF POSITIVE SIDE AND A NEGATIVE PIN. ALL I CAN AY IS THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO PICK THIS BALL UP. THE BALL GOT THROUGH THE FRONT, READ THE MIDLANE WELL AND EXPLODED ON THE BACKEND. I BOWLED ON SYNTHETIC LANES THAT HAD NOT BEEN DRESSED YET AND I STILL HAD THE WHOLE LANE BY JUST FINDING A BIT OF OIL. THE MOST AMAZING THING ABOUT THIS BALL WAS THE SOUND IT MADE WHEN IT HIT THE PINS, IT WAS EXPLOSION LIKE, NEVER HEARD A BALL HIT LIKE THIS, NEEDLESS TO SAY THE PINS HAD NO CHANCE. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT THERE WAS A BALL I MAY LIKE MORE THAN MY VENDETTA BLACK SOLIDS, BUT THIS ONE MAY HAVE A CHANCE, NO EXAGGERATION HERE, THIS BALL IS UNBELIEVABLE, I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT IT. I WILL POST A NEW REVIEW AFTER LEAGUE TONIGHT WHEN THE LANES HAVE BEEN DRESSED. GO GET THIS BALL.

268 OUT OF THE BOX(172 adv.) SHOT MY 1ST 700!!!!! Hits like a truck and trashes the pins low on the deck. Very rem. of my Danger Zone (Just way updated). Exellent addition to my Ven. Part. Pearl. Looking foward to buying a 2nd!!!!!!!! Current drilling is with the pin just below and right of the ring fingure. Bowled on a typical house shot with med. oil on wood lanes. Had approx. 4 board area to throw at and it still went straight to the pocket. 3rd game (when oil was really starting to break down ) had to put a little more arm in it, but very easy to adjust. Didnt seem to be affected by carry down at all!

great length and great recovery, it does not miss the breakpoint, most balls the get throught the heads good will scoot right past the break point, not this one. And the hit is great, kicks the ten like nothing else. Put a little surface on it and you have a great oil ball, shine it and you can move way in and hook the lane. I really like the colors too, the only dislike I have is the fact that I have to write 100 words to post this review and I am typewriter challenged. Let me click and see if this is enough yet.

WOW someone has finally made " IT ". This ball can not be stopped when "IT" finds the dry. When i miss right i get all the recovery I need. When i miss left " IT " still gets the weak corners out. This ball should be called " IT " but its not so i guess Au79 ( "gold" for those who have not remembered science class) is the next closest name. I have always liked the advantages of a pearl ball over solids, because of the length and hit. With the mass volume of oil that is in play now the pearl never gets used, that has changed with new Au79 element.
