Marauder

The red pearl/yellow solid DV8 Marauder features a new symmetric core shape matched with the new Class 4 reactive coverstock resulting in a ball motion that is long and sharp at the breakpoint on medium to light oil lane conditions. This core and coverstock combination produces an outstanding all-purpose ball motion and sets the Marauder as the new benchmark ball in the DV8 product line.

The Marauder is a great ball to use on medium conditions and house shots. While it does need to have some friction to hook, don't be surprised to see the ball hook heavier patterns as well. The backend motion is angular without being uncontrollable. It is a very versatile ball that is great to keep in your bag for any pattern you go bowl on. This ball has worked great on the house, the 2013 USBC Florida Open pattern, the 2013 Singles/Doubles pattern. The only thing I struggled on was the WTBA Tokyo pattern. A little too much oil.

DV8 has come up with an awesome color scheme on this ball,i drilled this ball pin up at 45 degrees with cg out about 1/2 inch.this ball glides threw the heads and has a very strong move at the break point.I was able to get left and really open the lane up with this ball. DV8 has really got an outstanding ball with this one, this ball is going to be my new benchmark ball that i pull out of the bag every time. This ball is very predictable and it reads the lane really well with a very good transition on the backend
