DV8 Medusa Drilled 55x5.5x45 The Medusa's medium asymmetric core and Inciter Max Flip Pearl Cover makes for a nice complement to the DV8 line. Using the same cover stock that was used on the Hell Raiser Return. The Medusa is plenty clean through the heads and mid lane with reliable backend continuation. For me, the Medusa is a more forgiving, user friendly Hell Raiser Return. The Hell Raiser Return has a very quick response to friction which made it tough to use on most of my wet/dry house conditions. I will admit that the layout I chose, didn't help the cause any. Which has led me to plugging and redrill if the HRR for another look. The Medusa's core shape allows this ball to be a little rounder off the friction which suits my eye, and game, better. The Medusa is my go to ball when the lanes start to transition and the Damn Good Verge is seeing the mid lane too early.
