My Wrath was laid out 5" x 3 1/4" from my PAP. On the fresh, this ball was great. It went down the lane and when it got to the break point, it looked like it hit a rock and went left (I am right-handed). I was really impressed with the power this ball had for a mid-price release, mainly because it utilizes a core design from a previous Columbia high performance release (Ti Boss, sorry, no Ti nugget). As the oil started to carry down to the backend, the Wrath started to wiggle and give me over/under. I hit the flare bowties with a 1000 Abralon and this helped tremendously. Out of the box, I compared it side-by-side to my Hyjinx and Wrath XP. The Hyjinx was about 5 or 6 boards less hook and the Wrath XP was about 3 boards more with a smoother ball motion. The formerly questionable Columbia 300 ball lineup/arsenal is finally starting to fall together nicely for the first time since when the Rock/Messenger series or balls were out. The ball was drilled pin under the fingers centered with the CG kicked out to the positive. Ball was left factory finished and had a 2.5" pin. Basically on the house shot I bowled on this ball could make it back from anywhere on the lane. I couldn't throw it wide enough for it not to make the turn back to the pocket. The only time I ran into problems is when I got firm with the speed and it would blow past the break. Otherwise this thing destroyed racks. I hate to say it, especially since I spent the last year killing Columbia, but this is one heck of a ball. Welcome back Columbia it's been a long time!!! Update 8/26: This ball is still good but if you don't keep up with the maintanence then you loose not only the great reaction but loose some of the great pin carry too. A down grade to the ball for durability.

OK folks I drilled this ball exactly like my Wrath XP 3-4 inch Pin top weight 3 1/4 OZ Drilled for Righty I drilled this ball pin beneath ring finger, CG swung towards Axis points. CG is about 1" inch away from thumb with a Low extra hole. This ball gets down the lane similar to the Wrath XP, but it makes a hard flip. It does need medium oil to maximize ball potential, If you play with on dry it may roll to early and with a higher pin it could flip to much (that's on Drier conditions). But a control drill is certainly great for your house conditions. The Wrath and Wrath XP definately compliment each other.
