This ball goes very long before it makes a move. Ball does cut through some oil when played straight up. I have the problem of putting too much hand in a ball. The Scout Urethane Hi Flare is a good answer for my problem on very dry lanes. Ball hits the pocket very hard. I have two other balls that are for dry lanes but they still hook too early and too much this one is just right for me. good ball good ball good ball good ball good ball good ball good ball good ball. I like the ball very much.

Bought this ball to replace a ball that was damaged at my normal house... I needed something that i could throw when the lanes broke down and there was no real consistent shot out there, sure i could stand really deep and swing the hell out of Ego but it was jumpy on the back end, and i am not confortable with that shot, but then again i am more of a power stroker and prefer throwing up the boards. So i got this ball and have it drilled with the pin under my finger with the cg in the middle of my palm, gives me the leverage....i can either have it hook or flatten this baby out to throw straight, either way this ball dosnt over react and smashes the pocket. Favorite part about this ball is that if i have a kid playing my line i will switch balls to this, cause really no matter what oil patter is out there, i can usually throw straight up the second arrow and let it walk in with killer affect...and if the kid tries to play my line, he is in a rude awekening, since its urethane, it
