First of all am i cranker. About 24 revs and 16 mph just got new lanes and oil machine at my center. brunswick anvilane and kustodian ion got this ball drilled for length. normally i need a stable drilling for my balls. so normally i dril it pin above and in center of the vertical line. cg kicked out a half inch. think this ball is for med- heavi. not what i wanted it for. because bought it for dry lanes like columbia said. maybe it would be better with time. then i post a new rewiev. still need a dry lane ball. any idea??? mail me at kaffeninja@hotmail.com

I bought this ball at the Nationals in preparation for a tournament in Brownsville, TX. I was told to be prepared for dry lanes. I usually use my Dyno Vendetta Pearl on dryer lanes, but it still has a lot of hook so I was in the market for a new dry lane ball. I first wanted a Hammer Vibe, but they didn't have a 15 lb in purple so I checked Columbia. He recommended the Jinx. Mine looks much different than the picture shown on this site. He copied my drill pattern perfectly. I had him drill it to go long. At the tournament the lanes were synthetic and the oil lasted about a game or two before it carried down. The Jinx came in as a perfect addition to my arsenal. I used it each day of the three and it did just what it was supposed to. It went long and broke hard when my others were not working at all. The lanes were pretty tough and the format was 5 games singles, 5 games doubles, 5 games team over three days. I averaged 234 in team and 210 overall which placed second (my average is

Columbia 300 Jinx 4.5 inch Pin. I stacked my Jinx, pin and CG is about 1 inch of my Center of Grip. ( Right Hander ). This ball is for medium to dry lane conditions. it has great length and nice flip on the back. The flip is strong and controllable allowing you to read the breakpoint on medium to dry lane conditions. This ball does not like oil it squirts a little long on oil, and its a little harder to get a read on it. If you need a medium to dry lane ball this jinx or the HyJinx is the ball for you. I will review the Hyjinx after I throw it this evening.
