This being my first particle ball I was a little worried on being able to adjust to lane conditions when the shot changes throughtout the day, but after a little pratrice I was able to adjust to a varity of shots. I usally start with a straight down and in shot maybe standin 5 boards left of center shooting 10 and as the day /night goes on I just move left a litlle at a time maybe a 2 to 3 boards adjustment leaving the same mark on the lane and opening up my shot the ball still works well playing 10 out to 5 to 4 and comes in great. I also found that I can flatrten out the ball enough to hit the ten pin which I always had to do with a plactic ball

A very good ball on medium oil and heavy oil and the ball is very easy to control. It has a very smooth backend reaction that insures you a good and clean hit on almost every throw. I would recommend this ball to anyone who wants a smooth reacting ball this ball is your winner. Since buying this ball my average jumped 35 pins and still rising. Since this ball I will be looking to buy even more of Columbia 300 bowling ball in the future. The U-turn particle pearl is a great ball and love what Columbia has done to make this ball perfect for me.

The U-Turn particle pearl is designed to cover the back of U-Turn original.Since the particle version brings lot of friction on lane & easy sacrafy some backends. It just the great timing for U-Turn fans to select this particle pearl. The particle pearl coverstock works pretty near as AMF Velocity. If you had played Velocity before, you may like this new face. My U-Turn Particle Pearl is 15lbs weight,Pin 1.5", Top 2 oz. I drilled it like full-roller one.CG in center of grip & pin near thumb side. In the beginning,I thought this ball will move very deep & have a bit back. But actually it moves like big truck.Without impressive curve(due to low top weight). But the nice movement on the lane track made me very satisfy. Versatile, this is my word for it. Next one I may try a heavier top weight to see hwat the difference between them.<s

I love this ball and I'm gonna continue to buy equipment from Columbia300 because it's the BEST!!!!!!! My dad bought this ball for me to use on edium and I was thrilled when it stilled hooked and worke for me in oil. I want to see how its gonna be in even heavier oil or a tournament shot. The colors also look really nice when it rolls and the ball rolls beautifully. When the lanes dry up it really moves towards the pocket, but you can just move more left and throw it 15 out to 10 or 8 and it will fly back.
