The SURGE™ from Columbia 300, has new Traction Afflair MICA incorporated into our proven Super-Flex Resin coverstock. This, in combination with the enlarged center section of the large body core, results in more mid-lane revolution from the SURGE. This gives the SURGE more mid-lane roll (earlier break point) and a continuous backend motion. This earlier break point virtually eliminates any hang, which can result from oil carrying down on the backend.

Wow!
I pur a shine on this ball and its the only ball I ever used that flipped over about 75 percent down the lane. Easily the most hooking ball I've ever used. Don't know if the pin or the shine or how I throw but if a guy revs a ball up some this ball once it flipped it would go left and never stop.....i used it to watch people's faces when i would throw it in practice but saldy i couldnt use it.....no condition could hold it on the lanes....4 pins....9 pins.....through the face and Brooklyns was all i could do with it!!! I gave it 5 stars because of the hook!!! It's about a 2 star for me in league and a 10 star hook rating lol!!

Specs: Pin under ring finger mass bias out about 3 inches PAP should be about 4 1/2 inches out but it is hard to tell Mountain Bay Lanes: Meduim oil shot relativly flat across the lane out of bounds at about 7 or so to the gutter, Old wood lanes pretty beat up kept up as well as possible. I liked using the Surge on this shot. I played 13 or 14 at the arrows and around 8 at the break ball would break nice and smooth about 15 from the pins and just blow them apart. Ball had a surprising amount of power in the pocket really ripped them apart but left very few 9 pins a great choice for a more difficult shot to play on. Sabre Lanes: Light oil for about 38 feet with a buff to about 42 or so wood lanes essentailly a lighter standard THS. Surge was one of my favorties on this pattern i could play just about anywhere I wanted to straight up ten or swing it and bring it no issues. Only thing I had to watch was the break point, if it was to late the ball would end up leaving a 4 pin or 9 pi

The most comfortable ball in my arsenal so far. Never left it out on any big occasion! Drilled for gradual hook action and the pin action is wow! The forward roll on it will take out all pins on the deck! The most trustworthy ball in my arsenal and will never trade it for anything in the world! Let it go out of your hand and watch it arch into pocket and take out the pins like a truck! Will get another one if i can lay my hands on it! Try it and you'll see! CHEERS! My fav ball for most lanes

My overall review for this ball is great I gave it a 10 on perfect I love everything about it and nothing is going to change my mind. I am soo happy I have gotten this ball for real. I have boosted up my avarage at least 10 to 15 pins since I have gotton this ball. My av is now a 170 to a 175 now and I juse to keep a 150-160 av so I really love this ball. I hope you find a ball just like this one b/c there anit nothing like IT I LOVE COLUMBIA 300 THEY ARE THE BEST. Now I am thinking about getting a icon or a icon 2 well I will write a result if I get one later.
