This ball is best for most beginners because this will give consistent target on most medium and light oiled lanes. This is best also when migrating from plastic to urethane type of ball. havent had this ball long, but its my first venture into a reactive particle coming from a plain urethane. First 10 games out of the box I was 20-30 over average, not a miracle but an improvement. On medium conditions this ball eats it up, and rips up the backend nicely. The last fifteen feet to the pocket it starts flipping crazy. Seems to be fairly forgiving on brooklyn shots as well. Havent tried it on wood yet, but if yer looking for a very good entry level reactive particle this one wont let you down or set you back too much.

It was my first ball. It took me from a 125 to a 170 average in just three or four weeks. I strongly recommend it for someone who is switching from conventional to finger-tip ball. It will give a nice smooth hook with a bit of a kick at the end. Very controllable, but definitely not a power ball. I still keep it in my bag when I go for recreational bowling with the kids. That's when I know that there won't be much oil on the lanes. When the lanes are completely dry, it's the only ball to use. The reactives are uncontrollable, and this particle will tame dry lanes very nicely. It's also kinda fun, because none of the other bowlers have ever seen one or even heard of it!
