Columbia 300 Resurgence Bowling Ball

(30 reviews) Write a Review
Unmatched "Friction" potential - Mid lane move with a continous backend motion. No quit in this one! We built the Resurgence from the ground up. It's a great ball that's leading the rebirth of the Columbia 300 brand. We started with a new core. Finished it with a new coverstock. We even make it in a new plant. The Resurgence is the new standard in this industry for heavier volumes of oil. This ball is strong through the body of any pattern and continues hooking all the way through the pin deck.

Great ball. Hooks alot. I had mine drilled to go little longer, but otherwise I drilled it to its advatages, Backend and leverage. pin above the ring finger cg kicked out weight hole in the thumb quadrant. I threw it in a demo, liked it, but was not going to buy one( It was good but not great). Then I won a raffle. Thing hits like no other. If your center uses alot of oil go and buy one immediately. You won't regret it. Edit: Dont like it as much as I used to it seems to not have enough midlane or arc. Just goes through most of the lane and then hooks a lot on the back end. If you are building your arsenal my suggestions are as follows: Storm attitude shift or special agent Storm Shift Ebonite Total nv Storm Jolt STORM Tropical Storm Spare ball

THIS IS THE MOST AGGRESSIVE HEAVY OIL BALL I HAVE SEEN I HAVE IT DRILLED WITH THE PIN SLITGHTLY TO THE RIGHT OF MY RING FINGER AND THE CG KICKED OUT ABOUT 3/16 OF AN INCH AND THE GG TWISTED SLIGHTLY FOLLOWING RECOMENDED DRILLING #1. THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT IT I BOWLED ON A FRESH SHOT WHICH WAS USED ON THE SENIOR LEAUGE SO IT WAS LIGHT ONLY 26 FEET WITH BONE DRY OUT SIDES I STOOD 20 BOARDS OFF THE APPROACH DOTS AND I HIT THE 30TH BOARD ON THE LEFT SIDE AND SWUNG IT OUT TO THE 5 TH BOARD ON THE RIGHT AND THEN THE BALL HOOKED BACK WITH POWER TO BLOW UP THE DECK INCLUDES THE TEN PIN GOOD BALL I BOWLED ON A 45 FOOT SHARK PATTERN AND I BOWLED WITH 3 PEOPLE ON IT FIRST PERSON WAS USING A EBOITE TOTAL NV 2ND PERSON USED THE EBONITE NVS AND I USED MY COLUMBIA RESUGENCE THE OTHER 2 PLAYED THE 30TH BOARD ON THE LEFT AND SENDING IT OUT TO THE 30TH BOARD ON THE RIGHT AND I PLAYED THE FIRST ARROW AND THE BALL HOOKED ALL THRU THE OIL

Columbia 300 - Resurgence NEW, NEW, NEW, I received my Resurgence today Black/Gold/Silver Reactive 2-piece RG 2.47 Differential 0.040 1000 grit Abralon Lane Conditions Heavy Oil I received my Resurgence today The ball was left at box finish no polished or gloss 1000 grit Abralon I drill the pin over ring finger with a 5x5 drill pattern. No hole My PAP is 5-1/2" straight across center of span to PAP and ¼ up. I picked a layout that would suit both the finishes and My game “The ball had a pin 3- 4 inch. Pin” 3.5 oz top weight I personally don’t like to give layout to copy due to the variable of Bowlers roll patterns That has developed in today game. But I was impressed with the reaction, So I will . In dull form it still gave me great midlane reaction, With out the spark you expect from a dull ball usually, The reaction remind me of the Brunswick Ultra & The Scorching Inferno’s But a lot more back end, If you liked that reaction of the ball mentio

I received my Resurgence today, and I could not wait to throw this beautiful gold/black monster. I drill the pin over both fingers with cg swung out to 4 o'clock. The ball was finished to 4000 & polished to high gloss. My normal house shot is a flat 10-10 pattern with oil to 20 & buff to 40. Unfortunatly, the house decided to oil a flat 1-1 pattern with oil to 30 & buff to 40! The resugence slid a little longer than expected, but I squared the shot up & watched the ball punish the pins. I have thrown a lot of balls over my 35 years of bowling, and this ball really hits hard! Pins will stay low, but the hit through the pocket is amazing. The resugence is not your average skid/flip or arc reaction ball; it moves with a smooth midlane roll into a pocket punishing continuous hook through the pins; not a sudden jerk, but it can cover a lot of boards if you let it. Excellent job by Ebonite with their first Columbia release; the cover stock & core are out of this world! it combines the smooth

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of the new Columbia balls a few days before their release. Like many of you I was excited to see what Ebonite was going to do with the Columbia 300 brand. I wanted to try out the Resurgence first since it was the new high end ball. The ball I got had a pin of 3.5" and a top weight of right at 3oz. I knew I was going to want to try it how it is out of the box and shinned so I picked a layout that would suit both finishes. I put the pin between my bridge and the cg about 1.5" to the right of my center of span. My PAP is 4 3/4" right and 1/2" up so this drill would get me pretty good length. I tried the Resurgence with thebox finish first. It comes from the factory with a 1000 grit abralon finish on it. The very first pitch I threw with this ball told me I had a monster in my hands. I had to play about 7 boards left of where I usually start to get this ball to stay out of the face. I noticed right away that this ball read th
