The Beast pearl with mica is the perfect ball for Burned lane conditions. It Goes Goes and keeps Going even on the driest of dry. The weaker coverstock (flexcel) is perfect because it gives you enough backend to carry on dry without experiencing over/under. I have mine drilled 4 X 3. It is the best ball to pull out when the lanes are burned and you need length or when you are lost and need a consistent ball that you know what it will do. Very Predictable. No surprises. As a side note, it is great for right side spares that need a little hook (the 3-9, the 3-6-9-10)because it can go long, and have enough pop to pick off the back wood of the sleeper.
