Columbia 300 Cuda/C 2000 Bowling Ball

The CUDA™/C 2000 is the return of the Cuda/C with an improved shell. This new ball features the original Cuda/C core which was one of the best selling Columbia cores of all time. Our Holo-Flex™ shell surrounds the core. The Holo-Flex is a reactive shell with a soft, engineered additive which is designed to protrude beyond the shell to give the ball a unique texture and sparkly appearance. This synthetic additive allows the ball to get to the back end of the lane and have a controllable, arcing motion to the pins. The ball has a smooth arcing ball path which makes it easy to find the strike pocket without having to throw the perfect shot.

Core Technology: (14-16 lb.) - Original Cuda/C core.

Wish I could give some of the information on the drilling, but I really don't have the slightest clue on the technical info. The first drilling I had was negative, which I did not like at all. Second time around, had it drilled somewhat strong. I've been throwing it with the second drilling for a little over a year now, and this ball is as smooth as it gets. You can just walk the ball into the pocket every shot. I have been able to use it on almost every shot out there, from regular league, to Nationals, and PBA patterns. It does struggle a little bit to turn the corner on heavier shots, but it is still usable. A really great, dependable bowling ball.

This is my favorite particle ball. It has just the right amount and type of particle combined with the great HoloFlex resin coverstock. This ball will go real, real long and come back to blow the rack from a severe angle. Works best when there is light and long oil , but acceptable on most conditions. Behaves well in extreme dry. Doesn't overreact on the back end, but will lose carry to due to energy burn up. I have mine drilled with the pin in the ring finger and at 12:00 to the CG. Makes for a very nice reaction when playing either down the gutter or from inside out to the gutter.

Drilled this ball with the pin above the fingers and cg kicked out. This ball was not at all what I expected. I thought this thing would have more of a skid/flip reaction, but that's not what I have gotten out of it. This ball gets down the lane fairly well, and hits fairly well. In comparison on the same conditions as my command zone, the cuda/c 2000 starts hooking about 1-1/2 feet earlier. My cuda also has an arcing turn to the pock in comparison to the command I reviewed yesterday. It will also cover a few more boards, because it starts rolling earlier. Actually, this one kind of reminds me of the green gargoyle (but the gargoyle hit a little better). This is a good ball to add to any arsenal. This one gets an 8.
