I love the versitility of this ball, I can add axis tilt and watch this ball jump off the dry backends, or I can flatten out my release and watch it smooth out.. PowrSurge cover must be the catalyst for the Activator coverstock. Everything about the cover screams Activator: Durable, Predictable, Powerful Definately a ball that will always be in my bag to fall back on. This ball always finds a way to get it done, rarely does it leave 8 or 9 pins, a few 10's with carrydown, but what ball doesnt? This ball is meant for Medium-Light conditions only. 4X5 Label drilling. Eric<scr

i used this one for a long time and forgot about it. the other night i pulled it back out for league play and it still rocks the pins.it has a great skid snap reaction with a lot of back end.they have gotten away from the true skid flippers and it is a shame this one can help if you want to bring back that reaction.brunswick has been making great zones for years and this one is no different ,great all around ball.the newer zones are a little more archy but still well worth buying.////////////////////// ///////////////////// ////////////go brunswick

Well when i got this ball i took it off my brother. I then shot my high at the time of 258 ( i was 12). i then keep using it till i got a messenger ti solid. I put it away for about 3 years. Yet when i pulled it out and used it i shot great with it. I felt like i never stoped using it. i ended up shoting my first 300 with it and my only one with brunswick bowling balls. I have sence returned it to my brother. It now sits collecting dust till the day i pull it out and bust out a 900 with it. I know it is a long shot but somtimes if you let a ball sit and you use it again you get its old reaction out of it. So brunswick drop your inferno crap and just make more balls like this classic. ( BRUNSWICK - INFERNOS + MORE ZONES= MORE MONEY + MORE USERS + MORE PBA TITLE WINS.)

This ball is an ok ball i just picked one up a few days a go cause i asked my pro what wuld be a nice ball for my style for med oil cause i was using the columbia 300 rage but i split the pin on a real nice pocket hit. so my pro suggested this one it is an older ball he told me but he had one still in the box so he drilled it for me anf off i went. nice for med oil conditons but not as good as the storm x factor which i also carry but i will def keep this in my bag for the dry backeneds or the messy backends.

Overall this is a pretty nice older ball from Brunswick. In its time it was one of the champs. I remember a few people throwing this ball before me and had some nice success with it. I've only ever thrown this on wooden lanes so I can't really speak for synthetic. But the ball seemed to have a nice reaction to the pins and did not leave alot of single pins. It was a good pearl ball, nice lenth even snap on the end. It was a good contender. I had consistant 600 series with it never anything real high though. It was good for what it was and it got the job done. Nothing really stood out about it though. It was just another decent ball out there. Again though, I don't believe any Zone will compare to the reactions attained with the original.<sc
