Brunswick Raging Inferno Bowling Ball

A particle ball with Reactive backend. A shiny ball that hooks. The Raging Inferno shatters preconceived boundaries by using Brunswick’s new Activator coverstock as a base for our next generation particle ball. The Raging Inferno’s Activator coverstock is transformed by the addition of particles creating a ball reaction that is more aggressive than the original Inferno. Activator Particle is a next generation particle coverstock that further increases traction in the oil while at the same time maintains a strong reaction to the driest boards on the lane. These characteristics produce a high hook potential ball that matches up to medium and heavily oiled lane conditions and also is effective at blending over/under ball reactions. The Raging Inferno uses a modified version of original Inferno core to produce a higher overall RG and lower differential. While still in the low RG-range the Raging Inferno’s core system is optimized to provide a more forgiving match-up to the medium-loa

15lbs, 3" Pin, drilled 4x4 pin below the fingers , x-hole below PAP.

Being a huge fan of the orginal Inferno I didn't hasate to buy the Raging, and am glad i did. At first I wasn't all that impressed with the reaction, it was to similar to my Eliminator, so I took of the factory polish and sanded it 800 Grit, then it really started to shine.

The Raging Inferno is very aggressive on heavier patterns, making a nice midlane move and a strong Arcing backend move. The Raging aslo handles carrydown well.

With the factory polish the Raging Inferno makes a great medium/heavy oil ball, dull and it makes a great heavy oil ball.

ball is good but is to aggressive once lanes goto medium. my combination of yellow vise inserts gets looks when its standing still and even more when its in action, but overall the ball is still missing something. considering that as of now im using a raging inferno and a ebonite apex addiction (spare ball an soon to be retired) i have really gotten to a higher level than before the raging inferno and thats pretty good considering im bowling decent 180+ games in oil and 130 -150 in medium dry . !OVERALL id say this ball is a force to be reconded with in oil and when the lanes breakdown move to a different medium agressive ball or if you have no other ball hold on and either put it in the bag or move to the left for righty or right for lefty and thats an extreme move not 2 boards more like 10-15 ill keep you posted next buy is hopefullly slayR, prime time or V2 clean

Struggled with this ball at first, had it drilled to go long, with a late but strong break. I roll the ball early, so when playing inside in the oil sometimes ball would miss the break point, resulting in 2-pins or buckets. Remedied problem with a lite scuffing with Scotchbrite. Now ball is very consistant and a VERY solid ball for me. Able to move inside as oil breaks down and still have excellent pin carry. This is an aggressive ball and likes/needs oil, but does not seem to be over/under. Will be curious to see how it's younger brother, Blazing Saddles does...

The Raging Inferno is by far the best an most versatile brunswick ball i have ever thrown!!!!!!!! I have the ball drilled pin under ring cg kicked out at 45 degrees with an axis hole at 6 1/4" from my cg.. The ball rolls very strong in the midlane an when it hits 40-43 ft nothing is stopping it! By far the best carrying brunwsick ball to date. I rolled this ball the first month i had it.. shot 6 - 700's.. avgd 240 in an adult junior for 7 games an followed it up by finishing in the top 5 atg my college tournament at penn state main!!! GREAT JOB brunswick.... an every1 remember this is actually considered pearlized!!! imagine if the solid edition comes out!

i just got this ball recently and i have been dropping bombs with it. I can only use it with a fresh shot or a sport shot or something with alot of oil. The ball hits like a ma f'in truck and it carries most of the time. every once in a while i will throw a good shot and leave a solid 10 but what can ya do. The ball being partical i have to clean it after everyshot so it will have the same reaction each time. Overall this ball is great for a fresh oiled shot. I recomend this ball to the people who like to play deep.

Drilled for a good smooth turn all the way down. Ball is strong, but navigates the heads perfectly. Goes out to the dry, and continues its smooth arc. Dry outside doesnt make this ball jump back into the head pin. Its the most predictable ball I have ever thrown. From the first game I threw with it I never questioned if its gonna hit the pocket, unless bowler error. First ball I have ever bought, that I used in competition after one game of practice. I get excited just thinking about throwing this ball! With out a doubt the smoothest ball I have ever thrown. Does not even think about rolling out. Go out and get one! UPDATE-Pin .5 above and right of ring finger, with cg in the palm.

Coated 3x with Doc's Magic Elixir before drilling. Opened the lane very well. 6pm league fresh house shot. Played 15-10 while everyone else was playing down and in. Ball drilled pin above bridge w/cg kicked out. Skidddddd 40ft, hook then blam! No more pins on the deck. 227 first game(chopped 6-10), 300, 269(stone9,10)= 796 series. Must have some oil on the lanes to be effective. Recommend ball for light heavy - medium oil conditions. If you bowl the first shift(6pm) then you should have this one in your arsenal. A must to bring for tournaments also. Nice color too. Barney or Dino on steriods.<

Let me begin by saying that the original Inferno is an excellent ball and I therefore bought the Raging inferno as a compliment, hoping that it would compensate when the oil and carrydown was too much for the original. It won't... At least not with the factory finish. The high gloss finish really causes this ball to move very little when there is a long oil pattern or carrydown oil; in fact, I saw little difference between the two Infernos when I threw them on the same condition (both are drilled with the pin above the ring finger). So, in desperation, I asked my pro to sand my Raging inferno to 600 grit (I participated in a tournament with heavy and long oil). A HUGE difference was immediately apparent as the Raging now hooked immediately when placed on the lane... probably too much, as I was plagued with ring 10 pins and the occasional roll-out flat 10. I'm a stroker and like to play both down and in, as well as inside angles, depending on condition and for me, this ball's e

The main reason bought this ball was that in my bag I have an Eliminator (Brunswick) and (Storm) Power Charge, (Columbia) Icon2 and (Storm) Shock Trauma. Felt that I needed a bit extra on upper range. Saw how that Inferno went but it didnt seem right to buy it. Luckily Raging Inferno came out. Just had a 6th Sense about the ball. Good choice by far. Will find out soon what the ball does on Synthetic lanes. hmmmm. Want a ball to buy with good penetration and not leave the corner pins. This ball is yer one to get!!!!! No hype required just BUY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF !!!

this ball is very versatile.. its very hard arcing yet u can play a variety of shots with this ball... hits very hard, carries the 10 very well an i normally cant carry for nothin with brunswick. this is definitly a good ball on a descent amnt of headoil an a light backend. i see alot of these being rolled on the collegian bowling tour an every looks impressive with them. I have mine drilled pin under ring finger cg kicked out at 45 degrees with an axis 6 3/4" out. Another surprising thing is that my home center is on wood lanes an this ball hasnt even got a scratch yet an i threw around 50 games already. so in my opinion this is definitly one of brunswicks best!!!
