Brunswick Parker Bohn III MVP Bowling Ball

(4 reviews) Write a Review

Science meets skill, mixing Brunswick Throbot technology and his experience as a 19-time PBA titlist. The result: a heavy rolling core and cover, and a more even change in direction off dry boards (similar to another Parker favorite, the Sapphire Zone).

I've watch Parker Bohn throw before a he does it so it looks easy to throw this type of ball but when you try as a person its not as easy as he makes it look on tv i really like this ball as I use it for my reguler league because I save my other brunswick ball the brunswick black zone for all my tournment and then this ball becomes my spare ball as if the lanes were to break down then I go to this ball because I can throw it lot straighter down the lanes then I can my other balls this ball it seem as if I lay it out flat handed it will not break so I use It in tournment as my 7 10 pick up ball because I can some times hit the back of the 7 and have it roll over to the 10 but I've only done this once or twice and thats it so over all I think its an all right ball to have with my other 14 balls I have an that number keeps on growing but lot of my other ball have meet the closet I mostly stick with my two brunswick ball and my two columbia balls the reaction rev and breast master purple b

The ball is great. 2 years and still going strong. I use it as a second ball. My other ball is a Reaction Rev. I love this ball for long oil and dryer lanes (as the Reacton Rev has a late break point for long oil, and will just hook off on dry lanes). I'm 13 years old, and bowled my first 200 with it, shortly after I first got it.I am a member of the Bohn Zone, so that's a nice step. This ball is definetly one of the best bowling balls that brunswick ever made, espicially for all the strokers.<s

I drilled this ball with one of my favorite drillings which is 4 x 4 leverage, no extra hole in this ball.I was looking for a good reaction on med oil or fairly typical house shots when some of my stronger balls could be a bit too much early roll and my less aggressive balls were not opening up the lane quite enough. This ball will work on the med. oil but the motion it seems to take is not desirable. I also did not like the flat hits and odd carry the ball seems to give me.I've played with the cover to see if i could get a better reaction but without much success.Overall i'm not too thrilled with this ball and/or drilling for this ball. which seems a bit weird considering how much i liked the sapphire zone from before. For a mid priced ball it could be worth while though.
